I just had breakfast here this morning and already can't wait to go back! My husband and I have been looking for a breakfast spot and think we've found it! There were so many amazing things on the menu but we settled on the chicken arepa and African hash. Their menu items are so unique! I can't wait to try them all. The chicken arepa was delicious and the hashbrowns (please don't ever change them because they're perfect!) were amazing. I tried the African hash and felt it was a bit spicy but just how I like it! Service was incredible and our server was so sweet! I loved the kitschy and homey decor. We'll definitely be back and will try the French toast next!

Incredible food and terrific, friendly service. Food so savory and delicious. Such interesting and tasty options for the breakfast lover, lunch seeker and even adventurous eater! So worth the stop while driving through CT. Servers treat you like a regular and epic brunch food! Thanks Kim for the warm service!

First stop of our road trip to Cape Cod. This was rated the best brunch in the state of Connecticut on a recent list of top brunches by state. Was intrigued by their menu. Definitely a bit of a twist on many of their dishes. Ordered the duck omelette with Indian spices, a pan seared pork belly with eggs, a chicken arepa with crispy onions and an eggs Benedict (not called that) with spinach. All of the dishes come with potatoes. We also ordered an iced matcha latte. On the pricey side but you definitely get a good amount of food. Worth a try but won't be rushing to be back since it's a bit out of the way from home. Should come when you're hungry because you do get a lot of food. Our server was friendly and helpful. From the looks of it, many of the patrons appear to be locals. The restaurant had outdoor seating in front.

Cute little brunch spot tucked away in downtown Milford. The Corner has been in my list of brunch spots to try and finally got around to visiting. Inside was well decorated on theme for Valentine's Day. I really appreciated the cute tea cups used for coffee. I ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine, eggs were pretty runny not too much. House potatoes were perfectly crisp. Service was quick & respectful. Note: Street parking

Beef Empanada with Over Medium Eggs and Rye Toast - It was okay

Ordered the beef empanada breakfast and it was okay. The beef was really fatty and it was super fried which i just was not used to with other empanadas I have personally had in the past. The beef was oozing with juice/grease which wasn't for me, although the flavor was good and it was filled generously with cheese, beans, and the beef. The eggs were good, just normal eggs. Toast was not buttered which is also fine but just something to note. The hash browns were on the softer, thicker side. It was really crowded so our server was slow to take our order but the food came out exceptionally quick. We were able to sit outside on a cool morning which was lovely. The inside was very loud

I had the Malaysian spiced pulled pork topped with over medium egg, crispy fried onions and shredded ginger and a crisp rice wafer bowl with a stone hearth bread and home fries. My friend had the South Indian Spiced Pulled Duck Wrapped in Bacon layered tortilla with scrambled eggs and a mild cheese.. for the table I ordered Apple, Cinnamon, Raisin and Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast. I'm beyond full. The food was so delicious. Our server was super friendly. I love the places cute the ambience is lovely.

Riding down the 95 and thought we should stop somewhere for breakfast. We definitely made the right decision. Food was amazing. I've wanted peaches in my breakfast for a while, and the peaches and cream French toast was nothing like I have had anywhere, but soooo delicious. My husband had the pork belly, so many flavors but soooo deliciously tasty. Servers were attentive and always coming around to top off the coffee. They have special seasonal type of dishes which we promised to come back. A very laid back ambiance, looks like someone's living room. Nothing fancy, but people kept coming in. It's about the food here. They have been featured in tv shows and I could see why. Next time we head north, definitely coming back to try the other menu items.

I had bookmarked this place for a long time, but there was always a long line of people waiting so never got a chance to try it. On a cold February day, with a winter storm advisory, was passing this place and saw no line so decided to go in. The place is like a hodgepodge of various decorations from paintings to old books to antique clocks, pictures, flowers, you name it. I was seated immediately and could tell this is a very family oriented restaurant, with music from the 30's playing and a very friendly staff. The waitress recommended the Duck Burrito which she mentioned was featured on the Food Network. Not in the time to explore a lot I went ahead and ordered it. It is an impressive burrito, filled with duck meat and eggs and comes with potatoes. On first bite I could tell this is something special, great flavor and the scrambled eggs were adding an awesome flavor. It was very fllling for sure and loved the concept and the great flavor it was producing Food network or not, this place is now on my network!! Nicely done

Never heard of this place but found out after visiting that it's a neighborhood staple! They have fun drinks that I personally strayed from as they seemed too sweet but their fresh made juices were a win ! I loved the South African hash and the trio ! The food was out in about 14 minutes of ordering and the service was fast and friendly ! I went on a weekday so there was no wait but can't speak for the weekend ! They also had plenty vegan options

Growing up in a home with three sisters, Voll had several years experience of working in the kitchen as well as her parents' food establishments. After graduating with a degree in finance, Voll came up with an idea to open her own eatery. After some experimentation with her sisters in their parents' kitchen, it was decided that Voll's comfort food eatery would be exclusively dedicated to macaroni & cheese: a dish that most people have grown up with. The first Mac N' Out opened up at the Interstate 95 Northbound service center in Darien, with a standalone location opening in Milford the following month. The menu features at least 20 varieties of macaroni & cheese (from traditional to Mediterranean to Mexican) as well as "mac munchies", "mac wraps" and "Mac salads". Following the success of the first two locations, a take-out only location opened in Bridgeport in 2015. As of 2026, only the Milford location is still operating. I recently visited Mac N' Out with my younger son while we were in the area. It just so happens that my younger son's favorite food is Mac & cheese, so he was delighted to have lunch at an eatery that exclusively serves the classic comfort dish. We were so overwhelmed by all of the different toppings and flavor varieties. My son ordered the kid's portion of "Grandma's Mac" (white cheddar & American cheese), which came with apple slices and juice. I ended up ordering the "Fourth of July Mac" (Hummel Beef Franks, applewood bacon & cheddar cheese). This combo was very nostalgic for me, as my mother frequently made Mac & cheese with cut up Hummel hot dogs for me when I was a little boy. Both dishes were served to us still simmering in miniature cast iron skillets. The mac & cheese is very hot when it comes to you, but it's so delicious! I paired up my dish with a bottle of Foxon Park White Birch Beer. My son and I had a great experience at Mac N' Out and we would love to return to the future. There are so many more combos that we need to try!

Trying to stay safe and basic, ordered the plain macaroni and cheese, so I can get a baseline. I also ordered a fountain drink. With the tip it was $15 and change. I took a seat after filling up my fountain drink, and waited about 10 minutes for the mac & cheese As I'm waiting for my order, a Scooby Doo cartoon is playing on the not needed television in my left ear. From my right ear, I'm listening to the staff worker in the kitchen singing to what sounds like Italian music. Could've been Spanish music. A little bit disturbing, as the music and the worker were both quite loud Within 10 minutes, my order arrives. The cast-iron pan with the macaroni and cheese in it, a couple of napkins, and a fork. Now I may be old school, or maybe I'm missing something. Why can't this restaurant serve the food with a plate and a spoon for serving out of the cast-iron pan? I'm getting older. I'm not in college or high school anymore eating food out of a cast-iron pan. I actually like to sit down and enjoy a plated meal, whether at home or out paying good money. The only exception I could see would be grinders. But I want a plate here! And if you're gonna serve it in a cast-iron pan, I want a spoon. I was expecting a flashback to the awful mac & cheese I had last time I was here. Instead, I got a very creamy cheesy sauce and an almost al dente elbow macaroni. The serving was generous in the small cast-iron pan. I did find myself using salt and pepper, as I didn't taste any seasoning at all other than the breadcrumbs on top that I mixed in, with this order So I'm gonna stand with four stars, even though I almost want to give it another three. Thank you to the gracious server, without you, it would've been back to three stars. In closing, I drove an hour and almost 20 minutes down to retry this place. I went out of my way..... For future reference, for in door dining guests, it really would be nice to serve plates with the mac & cheese, and the cast-iron pan and maybe over a pot holder. A serving spoon is a must if you're gonna share this dish with somebody. Anybody older than college age will appreciate the plate or bowl to enjoy this meal from... trust me

When we went in, we were the only people, but that changed 3 minutes into our experience - it was customer after customer after that. I think a lot of guys with hands on jobs come here to buy breakfast before work (it is convenient, cheap, and delicious). I finally decided on one of their specials which was a grilled cheese on sourdough. It came with bacon, avocado, tomato, and cheese. My mom wanted a traditional American breakfast so she had the platter - 3 eggs, bacon, and toast, with a side of coffee. Altogether it came out to $20 which was really good. We were in no rush, and I think they saw that so they prioritized their orders. They have milk (whole, oat, and half and half) and sugar for the coffee on a table to the right of the counter. While I waited, I admired the plants they had all around the windowsill. I was also loving all the natural lighting coming in. We noticed it was a bit cold inside. The bathroom is clean and warm. After about 15 minutes, our food was ready. Each half of my sandwich was big. I could see all the crispy bacon, the gooey cheese, the fresh avocado and tomato, and the perfectly crispy bread. The first bite was magnificent and so was the rest. The only complaint was that it did feel a but too oily. My mom's food was also good. The eggs looked great and the bacon was crispy just like she likes it. The only complaint with hers was that it seemed like instead of butter for the toast, they used congealed bacon fat. Overall, we had a great experience. Although it seemed like there were only 2 workers - one taking orders, and another cooking - they were very efficient.

Wait time is usually about 15 minutes. They get busy but they keep it moving. Pro-tip: add cherry peppers to your favorite breakfast sandwich for a nice kick in spice and flavor.
