I met up with my cousins for lunch. I was the first of ten to arrive and was promptly greeted by the staff upon entry. A seating was made up and water poured for everyone even before they arrived. We asked for separate checks which was no problem. Our waiter Matt was friendly and efficient. He got all of our orders and checks straight plus he had a great smile! I have been here many times and always had a good meal and friendly staff. The diner is clean and tidy. plenty of parking around the building too.

Very nice experience. Waitstaff is very attentive and doesn't rush you. Specials are reasonably priced but I wouldn't say cheap. I like their choice of music here: Classic Rock 70s and 80s.

The Valley Diner is your typical family diner. The menu is large with many items to choose from. I was very satisfied with my breakfast a cheese omelette with home fries, and english muffin. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent.

I had heard about the Valley Diner a few weeks ago. They were written up for hosting a fundraiser for a young girl with a debilitating disease. Kudos to them for this. I met my best friend, Pots & Pans, for breakfast this morning. I drove down from Windsor Locks; he drove up from Queens. Since the corned beef hash was advertised as homemade, we both opted for the CBH omelet w cheddar, well-done HF's, and rye toast. Coffee came quickly as did refills. Food arrived in short order as well. We were both surprised at the CBH omelet's lack of CBH. It was more like a cheese omelet...little flecks of CB here and there, not as a "filling" like every other CBH omelet I've ever had anywhere. I liken the "skimpiness" to the amount of clothes on an exotic dancer (from what I've heard). Also reminded me of that classic Wendy's commercial from 2012, when one of the elderly women says, "Where's the beef?" (available on YouTube). We both mentioned this to our server, who said she would talk to the cook. Additionally, the HF's were not very spiced at all. Just a big mass of grilled potatoes. Coffee was excellent. Plenty of parking, but not many cars / patrons for what should be a busy breakfast period. My Yelp ratings are normally 5's and 4's, because I try to patronize places that have gotten decent reviews. Very disappointed in what was advertised as a CBH omelet. Both of us.

Always liked the valley diner! Their service is good and food is always on point! Last time I went, I really liked their chili and chips. I didn't like the French dip sandwich, it wasn't what I was expecting. Didn't have much flavor, the au ju was bland. I especially recommend getting their breakfast food!

Usually always a great experience with the food here at valley diner. Could never go wrong with the green yogurt. It is so delicious especially with the granola and fruit. Took a bite of my fiancés panini and it was amazing definitely will try and make it at home. My sister normally purchases the blt club sandwich and loves it however, today the tomatoes were awful and she barely touched her meal. She did however enjoy the French fries.

Food came out cold, they had fast service. Table was dirty. Wendy's next door would have been a better choice, but I'm a sucker for a diner.

I order dinner and they were out of the hanger steak. My boyfriend ordered and they were out of the paella. I ended up getting the chicken cutlet board. The chicken was very dry, it was like a fish fry batter, not what I think of when I hear "cutlet". Over cooked, salty. My boyfriend got the salmon. I tasted it at the end of the meal, I couldn't even believe he tried to eat it. It was very overcooked and so fishy. Also it said that his potatoes were Lyonnaise potatoes, Definitely not, they were thickly sliced, lacked seasoning, just a miss. Drink service was very slow, forgot a drink too. The waiter mentioned they're in between menus; i'm hoping my feedback can be helpful to the restaurant. Also it is my pet peeve when servers don't tell you upon seating you that they are out of an item. Being they were out of both of the entrées we wanted we may have chose to leave and come back another day and possibly have a more positive experience.

My daughter and I ordered the Hot Honey Wings for an appetizer, and my daughter had a Cheeseburger with French Fries, and I ordered the Meat Lovers Paella. I ordered the paella because I have always wanted to try it, but I don't eat seafood, so I'm glad they had a meat paella. If you're ordering the Pallea, it will take about thirty to thirty minutes, so I would order an appetizer. The wings came out, and they were good, and the sauce was good. My only problem is that many restaurants that make wings seem to miss the seasoning, and the wings were missing flavor. It was fried well, but it was missing flavor. I loved the Meat Lovers Paella, which was packed with flavor. The paella came out in a cast-iron pan, and the meats were cooked well. The steak was moist, full of flavor, and cooked well. The rice was full of flavor and delicious. The Paella had a rich flavor profile, with the prominent tastes of saffron and smoky paprika coming together to create a satisfying and aromatic experience. I would definitely be back for the Paella because the presentation was on point. The customer service was great as the waiter was friendly, outgoing, and very knowledgeable about the menu.

This was my first time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a cute little dive bar tucked into the hillside. The parking situation wasn't great, but we found a small lot nearby, so it worked out perfectly. We were greeted right away and sat at the bar. I was surprised there was just a menu for the wings just two full pages--everything sounded so good that choosing was the hardest part. We ended up ordering three different flavors (six wings each). Caramel Soy (my pick): I knew this was going to hit, and it absolutely did. If you've ever had Korean fried chicken with a soy glaze, it had a very similar flavor profile:savory, slightly sweet, super addictive. The best part? It came with a fluffy dipping sauce. So fun. The wings were crispy and tender, easily my favorite of the night. Hot Garlic Butter (my girlfriend's pick): This one leaned more toward a classic buffalo-style sauce. Delicious, with chunks of garlic throughout. Not the most adventurous flavor, but exactly what we needed for a little spice. These wings were more heavily coated, so the skin wasn't quite as crispy, but the flavor held up. Solid 8-9/10. Cilantro Lime Tahini (our mutual pick): A bit out there for wings. I liked the flavor, but it felt better suited for a salad than chicken. Definitely our least favorite, but still not bad. 6.5/10. Overall, we'll be back--I want to try all the flavors!

I thought the parmesan butter bacon garlic sauce would be more of a sauce, but it ended up being more of a spread. Still a solid burger, just different than what I had in mind. For wings, I got the peanut butter and jelly wings, which were served with fluff, and they were so good and so unique. Definitely something I've never had before and absolutely worth trying. My boyfriend ordered the blue cheesy bacon wings, which were good, although they seemed to have no bacon. He also tried the classic hot wings, which were solid as well. I really enjoyed the laid-back vibe here and would definitely come back to try more of their crazy wing flavors -- there are just so many to choose from.

They have a Happy Hour seven days a week, with several discounted beers, cocktails, and food items. Live entertainment is frequently offerred. The menus are pub & tavern style foods, and on Sundays they offer a nicely rounded brunch menu. Our bartender/server Ashley (who was servimg a busy bar and entire restaurant area alone) was focused and efficient and readily understood and embraced sarcasm from her tendees. The manager, Todd, was vigilant without being imposing, and obviously had a firm grip on the flow throughout the restaurant. I had the Barn Burger that was prepared and presented very nicely, and I chose the Caesar Salad over fries, which turned out to be the right choice as it was one of the best Caesar Salads I've ever had. The wife had the Frittata and loved it. We also split a Fondue Pub Chips - house made potato chips with several wonderful toppings. The signature cocktails were very different, priced well, and did the job. In totality, the experience was fantastic and I can see this place as the place everyone will want to be in 2026 and beyond. Operated by a group of restauranteurs that run several other chic restaurants in our area. UPDATE: We came back here five days later and I had a Pork Chop Scarpariello (excellent) and the wife had an Arthur Avenue Meatball Spring Roll with marinara sauce dip (amazingly good) and the Chinese Chicken Salad (excellent also).
