$9 For this slice of pizza.

$9 For this slice of pizza, this is my Zyn for scale. Barely any cheese. Service was okayyy. Best they can do. I can tell they were giving their all. Its just a pizza joint. Dont expect much. Parmesian cheese was good though. Inside warm and cozy. Ok ambiance.

As soon as I walked in..I was greeted. I can smell the pizza. It's a small mom and pop shop. I ordered a cheese slice. The pizza was perfect. Thin crust, cheese was melted perfectly. The amount of sauce was on point. The taste was exactly what I was going for. Definitely worth the visit. A++++

Friendly employee taking orders. Prices are fair. Pizza was good. It wasn't the best pizza; and certainly not the worst. Will come back again!

Just one slice over the course of one visit and I had to give thanks. Before now, I'd never met a NY slice I liked. They had all been limp, and honestly a little lazy. I stepped in with a wish that this pizza really wasn't like other pizza; it was ~different~. Imagine my surprise when I heard a crunch during my first bite and every bite after that. I'm hard to please, but Corner Slice made a woman out of me.

It is on the corner and they offer single slices. I think it's family owned and operated. Everyone was really warm and welcoming. I decided to order the Buffalo wings after the young man at the register told me it was popular, a cheese pizza with extra sauce and the veggie pizza. It was a 20 minute wait because everything is made fresh to order and I didn't mind as everyone was very friendly and sweet. My order came out too hot to handle, lol. I was burning my thighs in the car as we drove home. We actually had to let the food cool down before we could dig in. The cheese pizza was gooey, flavored and delicious. I kept going back to it and letting my spoiled dogs have the crust which they devoured. The veggie pizza was fresh and delicious as well. The chicken wings were just okay. We ended up baking them a bit more in the oven the next day and adding seasoning and then they were FIRE! Pizza kept well the day after too. We just popped what was left in the oven and voila! Bon Appétit! I added some garlic seasoning to the veggie for an extra wow and was very happy with my skills. I would go back to this establishment. You can eat there but the restaurant is pretty small. I wish they had more toppings and specialty pizzas like Barbeque chicken. I also wish they showed the chicken wings more seasoning love. Good food. Good price. Friendly staff. Thank you, Pizza people!

I stumbled upon this place one day and I've been coming here ever since. Even though the restaurant looks super unassuming, the food and service is soooo good. The pizzas are thin crust and the perfect marriage between crispy and fluffy. I'd recommend the classic pepper is and the Hawaiian. Now the WINGS, so darn good! I really wasn't expecting it but these might just be some of the yummiest wings I've had. I found the wings to be flavorful and crunchy/juicy (I'd recommend the garlic parm). I've even had the salads which are also just as yummy! Service is also just as great. The workers make you feel really cared for and the vibe is super homey. If you want to sit down, I'd recommend sitting out back where they have a sort of "Lady & The Tramp" spaghetti scene ambience going on. So cute!

I really was craving pizza so I came as soon as they opened . The pizza was good and decently priced . Good value . There was already a client waiting but the service was fast , the man tried really hard to give the best possible service, I'm sad I couldn't tip him with the machine they use for credit cards.( I don't carry cash) . The ambience was nice had places to sit and gave a mom and pops restaurant vibe .

After the concert at Catch One we ended up here right before closing for some midnight munchies. My brother and I ordered the large mushroom pizza and within 15 minutes we were digging in and endulging in their great tasting pizza. They should stay open a bit longer during concert nights to feed the buzzed hungry crowd.

The owner is super sweet. I celebrated my friend's bday with some Pizza, wings, salad and art! The staff were really attentive and turned on heater and music in the patio area. We ordered the combo pizza, salad, and habanero wings. The medium pizza was good enough for 3 people. The Cesar salad was crispy and delicious. The habanero wings were super spicy! I would recommend this place for good food and great ambience.

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Food: - Sicilian: THIS was the winner of the evening! The sauce, mozz, ricotta, and pesto all came together to make a really tasty bite. The edges of the crust were nice and crispy, and you can taste the toasted cheese on the edges of the crust. SO good. We both decided that this was the best flavor of the night. I've had this same pizza at several other spots in LA, but Prime Pizza really executed it well here. So well balanced in textures and flavors, and the crust was both nicely crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center! - Spicy Pep: Solid pizza, and we LOVE when pizza places use cuppy pepperoni. It was a bit spicier than expected, so be prepared to *actually* taste the heat when you order this one! It's tasty and the crust for this one was also banger, but (IMO) pales in comparison to the Sicilian. Would gladly come again for the Sicilian!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. I know that's an unfair prejudice, but I always assume it's more of a healthy food place for people who complain about regular food than a real tasty joint. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. And, as native New Yorkers, we know our pizza! Strongly recommended! Can't wait to get another Sicilian pie in the near future with some toppings.

I finally went back and tried one of their vegan pastas I hadn't tried before, and there was meat in it (pancetta). I literally am feeling sick to my stomach--I'm pescatarian + non-dairy and stopped eating meat in 2013 so I'm sure you can imagine. The customer service was amazing and the cashier who helped me, Melissa, was so apologetic and sweet (obviously wasn't her fault), but this is just another warning to anyone who is vegan and considers coming here. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Do not risk it if you are vegan.

The inside dinning area is very small, but trendy in a hipster kinda way. It's your typical Echo Park restaurant with good food, and lots of customers in a cramped space. Seating is very limited so most people end up eating their pies on the standing tables outside or on the sidewalk. They have a small takeout window for pre orders. The online ordering process isn't the easiest and the pick up process feels a bit clunky but the service is great. It's not the most relaxed dining experience but that's part of the charm. The pizza itself was good, almost great but something is missing. It's a Detroit style pie, made to order and topped with high quality ingredients. The cheese pull is on these slices is great. It's a very good pizza for LA but definitely not the best pizza you'll find in LA. They have a great chocolate chip cookie and a surprisingly appetizing dessert list for a pizza joint.
