Delicious Pizza is a really cool spot with a great hip-hop theme and iconic hip hop stars adorning the walls. It's the perfect place to socialize with friends in the West Adams area, offering both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a full bar (though it was closed for a private event during my visit). We ordered a 16" large pepperoni pizza to share. While they don't allow half-and-half splits for specialty pizzas due to the different sauce bases, I grabbed a Jerk Chicken slice on the side to try. It was a bit pricey at $6.99, but it was loaded with chicken and had a great spicy kick. The sourdough crust had a nice chewiness to it, which was a highlight. The pepperoni pizza was solid, though quite greasy--definitely keep some napkins handy. While it's a good pie, I'm not sure I'd battle heavy LA traffic specifically for it, but it's a great neighborhood option. 7.1/10 What really stood out was the service; our server was incredibly attentive, checking in on us several times throughout the meal. Went there because there was an event next door so it was a convenient spot to get some food while I play mahjong. I got the 2 slice combo with a drink. It was ok. The crust was thick and doughy. They brought the food over next door so service was nice. The restaurant itself has a big space in the back. Nice design and clean. If you like playing Vegas night club prices with a backyard cookout aesthetic, this place is for you. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for their backyard party. This place is shockingly extremely packed! There was less than 10 people in front of us in line at the bar and we waited 30 minutes. When it was our turn to order the line was out the door behind us. The bartender had an attitude and couldn't blind pour to save his life. He kept under filling the shaker and didn't have enough to fill the drinks more than once. Probably explains the backup. Everyone in line kept complaining they need more bartenders. Came back an hour later, 2 bartenders, no line. Ordered the same drinks, tasted completely different (better) the 2nd time around. Drinks are like $15 each in a short small cup full of ice. The pizza is mid. I did like the pepperoni, they were nice and crunchy. For the margarita pizza all of the toppings slide completely off the crust. Overall this place was ghetto and I don't really see any desire to come back here again. read more

Make sure to park in the right location or security will be on your tail. It's an open space. Made me feel like I was in an episode of "Half and Half" eating at Delicious Records. It wasn't too busy, but we did have to wait a cool minute for food. I ordered half pepperoni and half California love and I got a hot mess. What can I say about this place. Well first, when you walk in the vibes are amazing. Old school hip hop and chill. You are greeted with the friendliest staff who are on it. They can answer all the questions you have without you even asking. The amount of food choices are perfect and unique to them. You can tell they really thought about their food decisions. We went on Labor Day, and the service was great! We came in when the worker at the front was cleaning, but she took our order once she finished and got our pizza relatively quickly. We ordered the California Love and replaced the sauce base with red sauce and got the BBQ sauce to be drizzled instead, as well as added mushrooms (at an extra cost). I actually didn't come here for the pizza -- I came for a salsa night with a live band -- but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I grabbed a slice from the display, and while the pizza itself was a bit hard (it was clearly an older slice, though they did warm it up), the marinara sauce completely stole the show. It had this smoky, slightly sweet, savory flavor that was unexpected and memorable. I told my friend the pizza would taste better if we had the sauce to dip it on. I was right; it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. The person helping us (I believe he was the manager) was very warm, welcoming, and friendly, which made the experience even better. Bathrooms were also clean, which I always appreciate. Even though my slice wasn't fresh, the flavor alone convinced me that a freshly made pizza would be amazing. If the window display slice impressed me that much sauce-wise, I'm confident a hot, fresh pie would be next-level. Delicious Pizza is a cool spot with dope art and music! I came to grab some cheesecake for my daughter to have later. Sadly I couldn't give it to her because the date on the cheesecake was 10/3. Not sure what the story is behind that; whether it was made and frozen that day or it's been sitting in their fridge since 10/3. Only thing I'm positive about is today's 10/21 and 10/3 was almost 3 weeks ago. I ended up tossing the cheesecake out because it was too risky to eat. Top 1 or 2 pizza spot in L.A. for certain. They have the greatest vibe, cool seating options. Either inside by the counter, theirs a bar or outside in a spacious open eating area. The Pizza is why I go though, freshest ingredients and sour dough crust which just takes the flavor over the top. Not super hungry you can get pizza by the slice. The staff is extra accommodating and treat you like an old friend. My kids love it and I'm a Pizza snob because of good pizza like this. read more

Anyone that knows me knows I love pizza. More importantly, I love a good NY pizza. So my step daughter took me and her dad to her favorite pizza place in LA. At first glance it looks like a hole in the wall and I'm here for it. I don't want to go to a tourist trap on vacation. I want to go where the locals like to frequent. You walk in and the smell is amazing. There's a nostalgic feeling to this place with a wall of old photos of bands and vinyl records on the wall-history. A woman hands us menus and tells us to sit anywhere. Wr decide to go to the back patio that has recently been updated. We are immediately brought ice cold water in glasses and Miguel our server explains the menu and gives us a minute, and kindly turned on the space heater for us. We ordered a large Margherita pizza and a small pepperoni with sausage. In the mean time we went to wash our hands. The bathroom was clean but old. No weird smells though lol. And after coming out we stopped to look at wall of fame and Miguel pops out and asks if we want a little tour. He said it used to be a record company called Delicious Vinyl. He opened a door across from the bathroom and to our surprise there was a cozy speak easy. To the left a stage and the right booths and tables. It was so quaint!! That opened to another outside patio with more seating and a small parking lot. From there we made our way back to our patio table and sat down as the pizza was being brought out. Talk about quick service! The first thing I did was taste the sauce. The sauce was spot on, the crust was the chefs kiss. I devoured several pieces. I'm giving this place a full 5 stars because it is exactly what you expect in a local pizzeria. Good service, clean, a welcoming staff and locals that rave about this place. I got the lamb meatball aka shot callin' big ballin' pizza. It was very good and not gamey. The meat and pizza was cooked well and it was good. The ceasar salad was also decent. The outdoors along with the cocktail bar is a nice touch. The service was slightly slow as far as the food delivery goes. But the waiter was very apologetic and helpful and nice. One cheese, for which all pizzerias should be judged on, and one pepperoni. Worst mistake ever. Shocked this place is rated 4 stars. What a gross, disgusting, inedible sloppy mess. Reminded me of the pizza I used to eat in school cafeteria only worse. The slices had even just come fresh out of the oven and it was still awful. The slices were big I'll give them that. But the crust was a floppy grease bomb. Zero structure. The oil was leaking through the parchment paper onto my car seat. It was too salty. It was all cheese and minimal sauce. What an awesome spot we bumped up on in West Adams! The music is a real vibe. The wall of hip hop legends is DOPE!! They also hold events in the back. Who knew?!?! We were encouraged to come back to enjoy their patio entertainment, socialize, and have more pizza! I'm excited to explore their full bar. Okay, now on to the important stuff. The pizza is amazing. The thin crust, the pepperoni, is crispy around the edges, and the cheese melts in your mouth. It totally reminds me of the pies in New York. Sooooo good! You must try it asap. I bought half and half wings. The habanero ones were too saucy and didn't really taste like wings. They were overly soft. The buffalo wings were too fried and dry. We randomly stumbled on this during our LA vacation. We fed a family of 5 (2 adults, and 3 kids under 6) for $25 including a large pizza with one beer! Now that doesn't ever happen to us! This was during the happy hour special time which the guy told us to order within 2 minutes as we walked it. It was a rushed order, but we appreciate him telling us. I came in around 3:35p.m. today I order a 12 inch pizza and ceaser salad and a drink. The pizza dough is on the chewy side taste was ok I liked the wood taste on the dough topping we fine could have use a few more topping light handed. The service was OK. I told the cashier this was my first time here. After my order I noticed over the bar area a message that stated "Happy Hour M-Th from 4 to 6p.m. half off pizza eat in only". Pictures in this review. Extremely rude customer service and horrible quality looking pizza. They have certain "deals" listed on their own website but when I called in to ask about them they said that they're no longer doing them, despite it still being on their website. A combo that is listed as $24 is now apparently $40? And even that was unclear as the person on the phone seemed to not even be sure of the price, as they fluctuated from $38-over $40. Which at the new price doesn't make this "deal" very much of a deal at all. When I asked them to clarify about the price they were extremely rude and abruptly put me on hold for a long amount of time and didn't pick back up. I got invited to a party at Delicious Pizza the Saturday before last, and I took the host at his word when he said I could bring my husband and kids. We rolled in at 6:30 and I was happy to see that the space was low-key and fun, and there were other children in attendance. We took over the patio, which was pretty ideal for a friendly pizza party. There were long communal tables and plenty of space to hang out, sit down, and run around. The set-up was straightforward. We got pitchers of beer delivered to the tables, and at some point, the staff set up a buffet line along an inside counter with salads and wings and pizza. I don't know what kind of beer and salad I had, but I enjoyed them both very much. The pizza was indeed delicious, with a pleasant thin crust. I liked the Delicious Pepperoni and the Delicious Mushroom, both classic and satisfying. And even my picky four-year-old was a fan of the Varry White, a nice white cheese pizza with mozzarella, fontina, ricotta, parmesan, and pecorino romano. We live a couple miles from Delicious Pizza and I'm thinking about adding it to our delivery rotation. I'd also love to come back, though. I love a place where we can get good food and drink while also feeding the kids. read more
