First off- the vibe was cool. Lots of good band posters all over and we're playing 2000s rock, which is the best, of course. We happened to be there right as open mic was starting, they got busy as the first person got on stage so we left to free the table because it seemed a lot of people showed specifically for open mic, and we just wanted some food. The pizza was decent. Not the best but certainly not the worst. We also ordered the garlic pretzels which were a huge disappointment. Only one of them was edible, the others were fried to death and hard as rocks. They had no flavor, not even doused in what appeared to be Parmesan but tasted like flour. Ordered takeout from Corner Slice while in Steamboat. The pizza was solid with big chunks of meat and veggies, and the flavor was great. The dough was on the thicker side rather than crispy, but still tasty. The garlic cheese bread was decent, but the sauce being on top made it a bit soggy. I love vibe here and the food was great too! I had to eat gluten-free and ordered their Pesto Pizza with tomatos instead of the breaded chicken. It was super good! I was surprised how good the gluten-free crust was, and all of the flavors meshed together so well. There's games that you can play at your table, which I thought was a fun idea! The only negative might be that the music is pretty loud. I thought it was fun, but it could be too loud for some who are more sensitive to that. USED BANDAID FOUND IN OUR PIZZA!!!! Do not eat here we ordered 3 pizzas and 2 salads thru yelp and it was delivered by Chow now. They forgot half my order and half way thru eating the pizza my son found a used band aid baked into my pizza crust. This is the nastiest thing we have ever found in our food!!! Picked up some food to go after a busy day because we were all starving. The place is small but cute, has a bunch of board games and a few TVs so you can watch the game. We got some cheese bread and garlic pretzels for apps. Both were good but the cheese bread was the winner for sure. They were perfect with the red sauce for dipping. I asked for our pizzas well done and they were amazing. The right level of crispy. The cheese pizza is *chefs kiss* and was everyone's favorite. The meat lovers was enjoyed by the meat eaters in the group. The veggie one was also really good but I would go in just for the cheese. Service was super nice the wait for the pizza was a bit longer than expected but we didn't mind waiting inside and looking around. We were visiting from the Denver area and had never been here. My 90-year-old mom is VERY hard to please and she loved the pizza here and the service. That should say it all! The gentleman that took our order (so sorry I didn't get his name) was so patient, kind, and accommodating. We ordered three pizzas and they were all delicious. Oh my gosh this pizza REALLY hit the spot after a long snowy hike. The '14 inch was the perfect size for two people to share. We got the veg head which almost tasted healthy with how many vegetables were piled on! It was absolutely perfect and so tasty. The crust is on the thin side and it didn't have excess cheese which I was happy about. We got sides of ranch which made it even better. I washed it down with a nice light mountain time lager and the whole meal was spectacular. There seems to be lots of pizza in town, but I'm glad I picked this one. Drive through Steamboat and stopped for lunch. We found The Corner Slice. The restaurant is very cool with rock posters and albums everywhere. I was happy that they sold slices as my kids all want something different - always. There were six of us- we ordered two slices of cheese pizza (huge), garlic pretzel knots ( sooo amazing!!!), Cajun rubbed wings (my son demolished them), a sausage and cheese pizza (mom and husband ate all but one slice) and a meatball sub (best ever!!). This place serves some of the best food I've had at a pizza joint in a long time! Meatballs are homemade- I'm fairly sure all bread and dough are homemade as well. All food was hot and delicious! Pizza by the slice is a nice touch if you're not feeling a whole pie. The pizza crust is thin crust, but don't let that fool you, it still has a delicious bite! Thank you Yelp for helping me find this awesome local pizza spot, The Corner Slice! Our party of 3 was their last night around 6 pm. Of course we had pizza on the brain after a full day of skiing. Great casual local hangout with a full bar and several TVs to watch sports. The Bartender was the waitress as well and she did a superb job of making sure everyone had drinks and if you wanted food she was on top of it and putting orders in with the kitchen. We had the Bruschetta and Pretzel Bites to start with our drink order. Pretzel Bites were mini Pretzels with marinara sauce it was yummy! Bruschetta was good as well. The home run was ordering the 18" Meatball Pizza which had marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese. OMG it was awesome nice crisp crust with great flavorful meatballs!! Really awesome pizza place in Steamboat Springs! I'll be honest - as someone who grew up in New York/ New Jersey I have very strong feelings about pizza (i.e. I'm a little on the snotty side). The Corner Slice does not disappoint! The pizza was just the right amount of cheese, sauce, crust, and had that necessary amount of grease without being overkill. We were able to split the pie 50/50 with cheese and pepperoni and the 1 pie happily fed 4 people. The man working was also friendly and the beer selection was great (nice local beers). Very rude waitress 18" pizza, fairly expensive? But it's really 16". I calibrated the ruler app and verified with other items with google-able measurements (e.g. beer can). It seemed small when it arrived so I verified. 2" May not seem like a lot, but when you do the math on area of 16" diameter circle vs 18" you'll find it's roughly 25% less.
