Walked in while the barista was making a few drinks. Than one of her friends came in and she's having a FULL blown conversation with them! 5 mins into me waiting she still talking to them and THAN decided to ask me what I wanted. No good morning or nothing! Even AFTER I said good morning to her she said what can I get you. First time walking in there and I won't be back! I guess small own businesses around Astoria don't appreciate new customer that DON'T look like them! I rather go to starbucks and pay extra money to get treated better. read more

I live in Astoria, I just ordered from here for delivery. It was the besttttt grilled cheese I've ever had. They also have actual roasted chicken for your sandwiches. The ingredients seem super wholesome and homemade, instead of those already premade sandwiches. I also really love the coffee!! Coffee usually all tastes the same or extra bitter to me but I got the iced coffee from here and you could smell the freshness :). So much detail over a grilled cheese and coffee but I'll be ordering more from here and hopefully stop in soon. Thanks!! read more

A small but pristine little place in the heart of this neighborhood. I came in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. All was freshly prepared, and the quality of my bacon, egg, cheese, bagel was great - not overly oily and nicely seasoned. Hate to write a bad review but it wasn't good. Terrible cappuccino if that's what you call what I received. I asked if they had decaf and they hesitated meaning I'm getting full caffeine. I make my own cold brew so I know you're supposed to serve coffee at a certain Temperature and this was scalding. I asked questions re: food and they weren't sure of what the item was. I didn't find the prices exorbitant and the atmosphere was great. I expect to pay a little bit more for excellent coffee and pastries in a cool setting. read more

I really like this place and I love that it's right around the corner from where I live. It feels like a charming little neighborhood coffee shop, that is frequented by people who live nearby... it kinda feels like my little secret! :) I usually go on those weekend days when I'm not feeling a big brunch and it hits the spot. Their iced coffee is great and that bacon, egg, and cheese croissant is killer, it seriously melts in your mouth! Prices are reasonable, crowd is chill, and it's not overly popular or gimmicky. This is as excellent little cafe in Astoria. I'm just visiting New York and must say the prices do not match the quality. The food is incredibly delicious. There ingredients in the dynamite sandwich were very fresh, bacon extra crispy... Just delicious. And the Nutella croissant was phenomenal. This thing was loaded with Nutella in every bite, unlike some places that charge for the ingredient and spread on a very thin layer. This is a great breakfast/lunch spot if you're passing through the area. read more

Over priced coffee that isn't even good . Way too loud when trying to order . I feel like I was yelling just to place my order from the loud talking customers and tv's on full blast . The food is great here. It's such a relaxed environment with great staff. The coffee is of course amazing having a binch or hot and cole options and greek as well. Taco tuesdays are so popular and the tacos and guac are amazing. The owners really put time to create their menus. read more

First time going here and I was overcharged. I got a small iced chai. It said it was $3.50 on the board but she charged me $5.50 for some reason? I saw her make it and it was just ice, milk, and a chai syrup that was not house made. I may give it another shot, but the chai is as definitely not great, especially for the price. read more
