We love this place. It is a must stop for my daughter and me on our way to wherever our day is taking us. Megan's friendly greeting, the delicious baked goods, and 20 ounce cup of coffee for 99 cents are the best way to start the day. The home-made soup and hot meals are the best take-out around. Pass by the place a week ago on my travel north to my seasonal campsite. The signage out front caught my eye and encouraged me to mark the place on yelp. So I could investigate it later which I did this weekend to my delight. I kept it simple and had a tremendous freshly made cheeseburger. Along with tasty battered onion rings. As one of the few convenience stores in the area it became obvious to me that one of the biggest draws was their coffee and freshly made cakes and other baked goods. I purchased the Walnut banana bread and look forward to the opportunity to try their other delicious foods,especially the coffee. read more

We live near in Frenchtown and have gone to this establishment several times, hoping it would get better but it didn't. We find them to be very rude and curt. Their items are overpriced and, on occasion, stale. I suppose the main reason they have any business is because there aren't many choices for a quick stop convenience store. Needless to say, we won't be going back again and will travel the extra few minutes to Frenchtown Market in town. read more

I totally adore this store. Lived on the east coast, west coast, southern U.S., overseas in Asia and Europe. I often travel to the NJ area. When I do, The Corner Store is a daily stop for me each and every morning without fail. This little gem of a store couldn't be better! They offer a 99 cent coffee irrespective of size which is the perfect lure to stop in and the coffee choices are numerous. Where else can one get a 20 oz. 99 cent coffee? And their chicken vegetable soup is the best this side of the Mississippi! The shop is over the top patriotic - something I love every time I see it, and decorated for every holiday on the calendar. The choices of delectable treats are endless. Megan usually checks customers out in the morning and meets everyone with a cheerful smile and brightens the day. I have been coming here for probably 35+ years and the current owners are the best. It is very clean and neat, employees are very nice and helpful, the food is awesome and cheap. It is a family-run place, and you'll not find these stores as often as you used to anymore, run by Americans. You can get a full sized cheesesteak for $8; unheard of anymore in this state of burgeoning prices. I am so happy every time I go here, it's so welcoming and nostalgic. read more

I go out of my way from my volunteer work in Three Bridges for their food. WONDERFUL lunch of pierogies and sour cream (supposedly an appetizer but lunch for me). Great Soup for later, and the best sandwich for my husband's dinner back in Rahway, NJ. I will visit again tomorrow after my Saturday volunteer work. I also do my limited Covid shopping for milk, bread, eggs, OJ, and coffee there. Their daily freshly-baked products are too enticing, and I have zero will power against it. if I could give this place negative stars , I would . owner is very rude and disrespectful. i went in to make a purchase and the sticker price says 99 cents for an item she says is actually $1.19 plus tax. i simply asked why and she replied HORRIBLY for a store owner (mind you she said this in a VERY nasty way) when I replied that she doesn't have to get upset with me about it her response was "No because everyone is getting on my case about this and you're one of them !" Sheesh !!! What a disgusting reply when my only question was why over charge on something when the sticker indicates a different price?!? i then responded that if i am one of them then i no longer want it and she said "good then there is the door , i dont need you" what a DISGRACE of a human being and a crappy store owner to say the least . I live up the road and went to that store often but i guess she doesn't need some of her most frequent and local customers . someone like this is only hoping to loose more and more customers as they seem useless to her , which is a shame . Stopped there yesterday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. There is alot to choose from. I ended up getting the brisket sandwich which was very good. Great smokey flavor, tender meat and bbq sauce that will make your mouth water(they make their bbq & hot sauce in house from scratch). The cooks are very nice & helpful. I will recommend this place to anyone. Even though its a deli, the food is way better then your averge run of the mill deli's you see everywhere read more

Stopped during work and definitely did not regret it every thing in the deli looked amazing. The cook recommended the pork special with homemade gravy so I got it and it was amazing great friendly staff as well everything is made fresh will definitely be stopping in when I'm in the area read more
