I'm only giving 2 stars because I actually love Marriott. The hotel is amazing, super friendly staff, clean rooms and the scent is super refreshing. The food on the other hand is horrible. I order the alligator tacos and it was very bland and expensive. I wanted to send it back and have it taken off the bill, but I didn't want to trouble the waiter. The food was horrible- absolutely no taste.

I'm stepping up my rating of this place after numerous repeat visits that were much better then the first. The service here has really improved as well. Not sure if it's because I'm a "regular" now but they're better at greeting you at the door and service seems speedier. I always have the elderflower martini here ($11.00) which is good, strong, but good. I like a good strong martin after a crap day so no complaints here. They've changed a few things as well, still trying to find perfection. The heirloom tomato salad ($9.00) is presented in a stack style now, which I like, and it's very good . Numerous types of tomato with nice fresh mozz and a great balsamic. the chicken and waffle sliders ($10.00) also seemed to be stepped up some, although still not on advertised "Belgian " waffles. They should just deleted that word from the description . The chicken is done so well though, its very good! had my traditional gnocchi bolognaise ($20.00) which is a little high priced for pasta dish, but it is at a hotel restaurant, and it is darn good. Barely tweeked from the old vincenzos days as it really didn't need it. He had the chicken marsala ($26.00) Definitely overpriced for chicken BUT have to say, best marsala I've had In a long time. Really good stuff, and the chicken was soooo juicy . Impressive. Had a bottle of Justin Isocseles with dinner ($80.00) suggested by our waiter, and it was very good and not badly off pricepoint either. I will continue to support this business and look forward to return visits. (Hopefully without 40 kids screaming around the very visible pool-they really should put curtiains on the windows)

Espresso BBQ Burger...extra charred for that awesome hockey puck on a bun flavor!

The dining room was empty when we got here. Considering it was lunchtime this should have been a warning sign. We both ordered the Espresso BBQ Burger with fries, which the server highly recommended. Nothing on the plate was seasoned, including what I suspect were frozen burger patties. The patties were so charred they literally looked like pieces of coal. The inside meat was not pink as it should have been but instead was grey. Even the fries were overcooked! This place is a total joke and not at all farm to table or fresh tasting in any way.

I enjoyed my visit to The Craft on Friday. Although there were a couple things of note. Ambience is trendy with large lighting and booths divided by sheers. Plenty of bar space and dining area. Some of the booths were at windows facing an elegant pool. The evening with friends started with fried cheese curds and a Stella. The sauce was a buttery gravy under fried cheese wedges topped with spiraled beets with bacon. A nice start with warm creamy flavors. Kind of subduing. I was delighted they served banana bread beer. A new pleasure. We ordered another appetizer. Ahi Tuna that had delightful peanut sauce, spicy mayo, and the typical ginger and wasabi. The tuna was room temperature. As dinner started we enjoyed a bottle of wine the Prisoner. Similar to the taste of a Shiraz. For dinner i had the Gnocchi Bolognese. The sauce wasbexc excellent. The gnocchi was room temperature and relied in the sauce for warmth. The combination was very good together. As the evening wound down we hadca bottle of Magnificent. Also excellent. The one negative was a drink was served with a bug. The server "bartender" who obliged us with table service in an excellent manner and took care of the issue once brought to his attention. I would recommend this place but I did not think it was consistently wow.

    Salmon is Delicous!

The food quality and quantity were spot on. Myself and one other in our party had their signature Blu Halo Chop which was the value play of the entire menu as quality beef is expensive everywhere. The sides were ala carte but the proportions were quite large. The Dubai Chocolate Cake was simply out of this world and is now one of my favorites that i have ever had in 4 decades as a foodie from New Orleans where we know a thing or two about food. Service was prompt and pleasant and Chef Dave stopped by and detailed his journey in getting there as well as his vision for the space and total experience. This is a crowded price point (2 drinks, entree, side and dessert for $100/head) with many quality establishments making up the class but The Blu Halo deserves it place among them

One of the best Sugar (lemon) Drop martinis I've had, not too sweet; just perfect. Also ordered a Blu Halo cosmo which did not disappoint. My friends were not drinking alcohol, but their Mocktails were spot on. We each ordered apps, and were surprised at the amount of food we were served. Each one could have been a meal. My Prawns were as big as lobster tails and there were two in the order. Two of us ordered the beef tips and we should have shared. We both ended up taking 1/2 home. Our friend ordered the scallops and commented they were the best she has ever eaten (and at her age she has eaten many). We were seated quickly and our waiter Tyler was pleasant and attentive. He made sure our second drinks came in before happy hour was over, he great recommendations on what we should order and came back often to check if we needed anything. The bar had a pleasant ambiance although the acoustics were a bit loud. We will definitely be back, but recommended they replace or upgrade the piano. With glass surrounding it, the sound could improve.

Because I'm starting this review at the beginning of the meal so I will be sure to document it as it progresses for your enjoyment dear reader. Well, some time has passed, and that lofty goal has already been abandoned. Because I devoured the bread service before I had a chance to take a picture of it. I've got to do better. The bread service is absolutely worth it. I do not know what is going on with that dipping sauce, but it is spicy and exquisite. I also did not take a picture of my Mojito but should have. It is a classic Mojito prepared exactly as I remember it from those long ago days in Puerto Rico, where I first sampled this sumptuous libation. Time has passed. Oh my God! The size of the steak! We came for tomahawk Tuesday tonight. That's when you can get an entire tomahawk steak for $109 instead of $139, which makes it about 30% more delicious. Anyway, in order to take a picture of this tomahawk steak I had to zoom out on my iPhone! Because they're just so big I could not fit it in the frame! I ordered mine medium rare and sliced for two, so my lady can share in the enjoyment. Perfection. No notes. The truffle fries are the best I've had anywhere. And they are abundant. A must have. I have to say, this has been one of the best meals of my life to rival Gibsons in Chicago. But what this location lacks in views it makes up for in every other way. Especially the service, which is top-notch. Oh, and did I mention they have complementary valet? This is starting to sound like I was paid to write this review. I was not. But I will gladly accept free Mojitos in the future. Should the right person happened to read this. For we will be back, and often.

We bellied up, ordered 2 brews, an order of mild chicken wings and a medium classic burger, which was just meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. I wanted a different burger, but the prices were crazy high. The basic freaking classic burger was $10.50. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked where our food was. The bartender went to check on it and returned roughly five minutes later. Unapologetic, he handed us our food. I cut my burger in half, and the damn thing was beyond well done, but since we were in a bit of a rush and hungry, I just ate the thing. First bite was crunchy because the edges of the burger were actually burnt. Nothing made up for the $10.50 price either. It wasn't a particularly large burger, it was dry, there was little-to-no seasoning and the bun was far from fresh. I mean, it's been a really long time since I felt so gypped. I ate half, got the rest to go and we bounced. I would have mentioned the ill-cooked burger had the bartender ever came back around to ask how the food was. Seriously, I wouldn't recommend eating here. There are much better options nearby, like Burger King and Moe's.
