It was a great spot for dinner and drinks. A group of friends met here and everything was amazing from the ambiance to the food and the drinks. Flavorful and quick services, plus can't beat $1 oysters.

Despite the nice view we got from our table, and fine and somewhat attentive service, the food was generally pretty terrible. I got a fettuccine Alfredo that was quite bland and the taste I did get was not pleasant. My mom tried one of the veal dishes and did not enjoy it. The spanakopita was not bad but not great. Burger was fine, fries were gross. We hoped the deserts would make up for the generally unappetising dishes, and I was very glad to see my beloved creme brûlée on the menu, but my sugar crust was burnt, not caramelised, and the lava cake was fully cooked through! I did also notice two flies sitting on the nearby window, which was kind of worrying!

I hate to do this, but I have to give this place a bad review. I will break down everything in my entire experience of last Thursday's dinner. My best friend was in town, and we got free tickets to a comedy show that was going to be played right next door to Tavern on the Bay. One of my friends also joined as we had a table for three and met up at 5:30 PM on a Thursday night. When we arrived, the restaurant was not even 25% full, which makes sense because it was a cold rainy evening, and we were out super early. We were seated very quickly and had Leslie serve us. Leslie was obviously new and, unfortunately, needs more training. We told her we were going to a comedy show next door and had to be out of there within an hour. We ordered drinks and food within the first five minutes. The drink and appetizers came out quickly as the place started to fill up, and this is where the night went downhill. We waited another 30+ minutes before Leslie came back to our table and informed my friend that the halibut that he had ordered was no longer available as it was 86. he then pivoted and ordered the fresh grouper. She said she would have it made very quickly. Another 20 minutes passed, and I was very frustrated with the whole process. I understand workers do mess up, but you should own up to it. There is no way she put our food in altogether, and the time on the slip would have shown that I had also ordered a New England clam chowder that never showed up and ended up paying for it. Unfortunately, I did not have time to grab her and have her take it off as we were already late for the show, and she could not split up our bill, so I took it all and paid for it myself. She also did not apologize, as I was baffled by three simple meals taking more than 90 minutes. I have been a regular at Skidders for the last 20+ years and was very excited to try Peter's new place. I will definitely be back, but I will make sure I will avoid Leslie. The food was phenomenal, the other staff that followed Peter are always great, and the views off the back were outstanding. Things that went wrong: * ordered and paid for chowder that never came * waited over an hour for 3 entrees * she didn't give me a bottle of ketchup on every other table but little packets * waited 50 minutes to inform my friend his food was 86. * if she had put the food in and not forgotten, the kitchen staff would have informed her immediately Service: 1/10 Bang bang cauliflower: 9.0 Baked scallops: 9.4 Tuna melt: 8.4 Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal 9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this 9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say 6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after trying once

We have been coming to the area for decades. We thought we would try a new restaurant. Unfortunately, our bet did not pay off. Our group consisted of 6 people (three adults and three kids). Not a single person in our group would come back. Whomever drafted the menu did a wonderful job. Dishes sound delicious, but the food served did not equal the enticing descriptions in the menu. Also, I would say that we have eaten out just about every night for three weeks in the area. This was by far the most expensive dinner for our group (even before the mandatory tip!). Also, service was poor (drinks were not refilled and our dishes were never cleared as evidenced by the attached photo. 100% would not recommend.

Food was simply amazing. Had a couple special request and were met without hesitation. Excellent place to die and the service is truly impecable.

Chefs kiss to the preparer of the lamb chops. They were the best I have had in a lifetime. The only food complaint I had was cold potatoes. Also, you would think you could get a small Greek salad without having a five dollar up charge. Gee golly it is a Greek Restaurant. The ambiance was beautiful as the restaurant has bay views which are amazing. The service was awful. We ask our server about ordering a Opa and she said they do not have Opa. Then we see another table get a Opa. One person got a scallop appetizer instead of an entree. Another lady ordered a traditional gyro but got chicken instead. We got no water or soft drink refills and no opportunity for additional cocktails. Service and server knowledge was unacceptable and disappointing.

Went for lunch with my parents and the baby. Very nice indoor atmosphere. We were seated close to the window with view of the dock. Service was friendly though a little slow. One or two waitresses for a bunch of tables. But food came out promptly once the order was in. The complimentary bread was a nice touch. I had the pljieskavica which is a meat patty served between pita bread with kaymak (think fresh butter) and ajvar (red pepper spread). It was very good dish, and big enough to feed two. My mom had the same thing and loved it. My dad had the octopus salad - the octopus was tender as can be! And the salad consisted of potatoes and green beans and was also deliciou

I really wish they would mark which items on the menu are gluten free. It makes it very challenging especially if the staff doesn't know.

It is what you would expect if you have been to one in the UK. I went for my birthday and it was like being out for a night in Bristol. You step inside and sit down to enjoy. The beers are traditional. Maybe of the draf is from the UK, Ireland, Denmark and more. It is all what you would find not only in the British Isles but from local markets in Scandinavia, Belgium, Germany, and more. It is a good way to have a pint. As for the meal itself, this is not fancy dining. Again, it is local. There is steak and kidney pie, fisherman's pie, cottacge pie, burgers, salads, and more. Of course, there is even fish and chips. And this is made the way they make it back in the UK. It is fresh fish (haddock) and coated just right. It is rich and tasty and willed with enjoyment. As for the fries, you can make a meal out of these alone even if it was the only thing to have with a beer. It was ideal. Again, freshly made and filled with flavor. People are talking. The team is ideal. The service great. And, as for the price, you can not beat that. It was what to expect. The place is on the main road, but it is hidden right in front of many of us, especially the seasonal tourists. Head over to the Horse and Jockey, and step back into a good English Pub right here in Florida.

SOLID 5 STARS! My…read moreniece, Laura, and her partner, Rich, are visiting from Chicago. She wanted a restaurant with outdoor seating, a view of the water, an excellent wine list, fine dining selections, AND open on a Monday night. I cried for Help from Yelp. 82 Degrees nailed all 5 criteria. At 6:15pm We were able to make an on-line reservation for three people for 6:30pm. Be careful to only park in spots designated for the restaurant or you will be towed. You can't miss the parking signs because they are plastered on every parking spot. We arrived and were immediately shown to a choice rooftop table just in time to enjoy a fine view of the sunset on the Gulf. After the sun set the bartender asked the diners at the dozen or so tables if they wanted the huge glass windows closed, and since it was starting to get chilly everyone agreed. My niece is very knowledgeable about wine, so she took charge of the wine list. After discussing the (Admittedly small, but well selected) list with the sommelier Laura chose the Iron + Sand Cabernet Sauvignon, a well-regarded, bold red wine from Paso Robles, California (4.8 Stars rating, I looked it up). She must have liked it, because she drank two glasses. Later on, she ordered a Pinot Grigio to go with her entree but I've forgotten the name. She also chose specialty drinks for Rich and I that were tasty and had a nice kick to them, but I don't remember their names either. I would have taken a picture of the drinks menu but my niece wouldn't let go of the list! (Which also meant we couldn't see the prices either, but like the saying goes: If you have to ask, you can't afford it!) It took us a while to study the menu. Just like the wine list, the menu has limited selections but offers excellent choices. It was hard to make a decision! We started off sharing Crab Cakes ($18) and Lobster Bruschetta ($21) appetizers, and we also shared an order of the Lobster Bisque ($15). All three of us agreed that the appetizers were yummy, but the Lobster Bisque was worth the trip all by itself! For my entree I ordered the Wild Caught Snapper with mango pineapple salsa and broccolini ($36) and Truffle Fries ($9). Rich went with the Grouper BLT ($26) and Laura chose the Parmesan Cream Pasta ($26) (Which was why she needed a white wine to go with her entree). Portions did not appear to be large, yet none of us were able to finish our entrees, leaving plenty for Rich and Laura to take home in biodegradable containers for a midnight snack. I'm sorry I wasn't quick enough to get pictures of the entrees. Rich and Laura are not used to snapping pics before digging in, but I can tell you they were all well presented. Even though we were all full, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of: SALTED CARAMEL BUTTERFINGER CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE!!! ($12). Just the name tells you everything you need to know. While Rich and I were dueling with our forks, Laura swooped in and ate most of the dessert, which is totally unfair but is a legitimate female perk so there was nothing we could do. Next time we'll order more than one slice! Our perky waitress was extremely busy serving everyone but managed to keep the entire restaurant happy with her service. I don't think I saw her standing still for more than a couple seconds. Didn't get her name, either, but I'm sure the excellent tip told her we were pleased.

If you're looking for a (mostly) tequila-based craft cocktail, or a break from the norm in walking distance from numerous hotels and beach bars, this is definitely the place to go. They're related to the excellent Agave restaurant two doors down in the same building, so certain Agave food items are available here. In any case, I stopped in for some drinks recently and loved everything. I started with their Oaxaca Old Fashioned, which is an orange-tasting mix of tequila, mezcal and bitters. Moved on to The Don; a great margarita. Finally, feeling the need to step it up, I asked for a recommendation on a reasonably priced smooth tequila to sip; the recommended Padre Azul anejo was exactly what I was looking for. The interior has more of a lounge vibe than a bar; lots of group seating areas, a pool table, chess, etc. Now, my six months later update to my original review; I've since ventured into the world of mezcal, and love coming here to find random new mezcals they get in. Mezcal is also produced from the agave plant, but unlike tequila, generally can't be produced in anywhere near the volume, so you aren't going to find it receiving the same attention tequila does, since no distiller could generate enough to keep up with the demand an advertising campaign would bring. I've found I really enjoy a smoky mezcal, straight up or even for an upgraded margarita, and many of the mezcals they serve here can also be purchased in bottle form at the liquor store next door (a family member of the owner owns that store).

I genuinely like this place, but my latest visit was a gentle reminder that even the greats have their off nights. We grabbed a spot on the outdoor patio, which is great because there are tons of TVs playing sports to keep you entertained. And you're going to need that entertainment, because the vibe this particular evening was heavily operating on "island time." I started to wonder if our server had to physically row to an island to get our order. It was a very long wait just to be acknowledged, and an even longer wait for drinks. Funniest part? My beer arrived well before my water. I was incredibly parched, and while I appreciate a cold brew, I didn't exactly want to shotgun my beer just to survive the drought. The tap water finally made its grand, triumphant entrance a solid 20 minutes after we sat down. When it came time to order, we met the Upcharge Enthusiast. Here's the deal: burgers come with rice and beans by default. If you want Bob's fries, that's a $2 upcharge. I tried to shoot for the stars and upgrade to onion rings. The response? A firm, almost offended no. "Those are an appetizer," I was informed. Honestly, our server seemed to derive a bizarre, villainous amount of joy from telling me things were an upcharge. Hey, whatever brings you happiness, just take my two dollars and make the fries happen. After the drinks took a serious scenic route, the food came blazingly fast out of the kitchen, but when it finally arrived...wow. The burgers here are absolute behemoths. You literally have to unhinge your jaw like an anaconda to take a bite. I have to admit, they are undeniably amazing. One bite almost makes you forget you spent the first half of the evening contemplating drinking water out of a patio planter. Pro-tip: Bring paper money! They give you a nice little discount if you pay in cash. Overall, I still really like this joint. Every restaurant is allowed to have a rough service night every now and then, and this just happened to be one of them. I'll definitely be back although I just might pre-hydrate in the parking lot next time.
