A very nice place for events in general, great food and services. They however have a few areas which have uneven brickwork or cobblestone that make it difficult to navigate in a Wheelchair. Great coverband at event through SocietyMusic&sound.com. highly recommend.

We were married at the Cree Estate in March 2016. We worked with Sylvia and Thies, who were both lovely, kind, and quick to respond to questions. This is the only wedding venue we found that does a 3 day rental! Not a 12 hour rental! So we were able to do our rehearsal dinner, our wedding, and our Sunday brunch all in one location, and all for one rental fee, not 3 separate fees. Also, the venue has guest rooms included in the rental price, so our parents and bridal party stayed at the venue and didn't have to pay for hotels. The venue is a blank slate - this could be a good or a bad thing depending on the type of event you are planning. They do not provide anything, so you have to rent EVERYTHING. You rent tables, chairs, linens, and you "build out" the caterers kitchen as well. The good news is you get to personalize your wedding and work with the vendors you want, which is great!! But the bad news is you have to take the time to organize all the little details. The one bad thing is that the lighting is not included in the venue, you have to rent that as well. Our Sunday brunch was a pool party - because it would be a shame not to use that gorgeous salt water pool!! And our families enjoyed it so much they said they'd like to rent the Cree Estate again for a family reunion. I would give Cree Estate 10 starts if I could!! Sylvia and Theis were wonderful, and our deposit was returned about 3 weeks after the wedding.

It's a layered, multi-use space made up of small shops, boutiques, home décor, and curated goods that invite you to wander rather than rush. What makes it stand out, at least for me, is that it feels intentionally designed for the way people actually live and work now. As someone who is constantly looking for places where I can sit down with my laptop and get real work done while in transit, this checks a very specific box. Not just "can I sit here," but can I actually stay, focus, and be productive without feeling out of place. That's rare. They've gone a step further by building out proper workspaces and collaborating with Regus, which gives it a level of legitimacy beyond the typical café-with-WiFi setup. It feels like a place that understands the digital nomad mindset rather than just catering to it on the surface. Then there's the rooftop. Fully serviced, flexible, and surprisingly elevated for Palm Springs. This isn't a city known for vertical spaces, so being up there, looking out while still feeling connected to what's happening below, creates a perspective you don't really get elsewhere in town. It manages to feel both removed and right in the middle of everything at the same time. For Palm Springs, it's genuinely one of a kind.

Privately owned and what appears to still have a home property onsite, Moorten Botanical features over 3,000 species of cacti. Another unique component is the rare Cactarium which is a greenhouse featuring cactus and succulents. Admission is $7 cash or card and there is always staff available to greet guests. A paper map is provided post payment to help navigate the grounds. I recommend sunscreen as a majority of the viewing takes place outside and the sun tends to beat down. Onsite there are a variety of large tortoises in specialty spots enjoying their environment. At the end of the garden, there is a nursery where plants can be purchased along with gardening trinkets. For the value, this is one to not miss! I've been coming here for years since I was a little girl and I enjoy the fact that Moorten sticks to their roots and have kept the layout the same allowing me to feel nostalgia each time I visit. Thank you!!!

Free to visit and you can enjoy the cactus garden and wander around the gardens. Museum and gift shop as well as cafe is on sites. But this visit, we took the tour of the Annenberg property. Tour is about 90 min and about 60.00 per person. They do recommend you come a little early to view and enjoy the main building where the cactus garden was but we were a little behind and made it right before the tour started. The tour host 7 person per guided tours. We start off at check in and then met with our guide, Hema. At the beginning you start off on the golf carts where your guide gives you an introduction to the family and the property. The gate into the main residence is around the corner from the public property. It's amazing to see how someone turned a barren desert landscape into an oasis. The brief cart ride to main door was quite nice. A massive golf property hidden in the desert. Once you approached the main property, it's welcomed by a massive water feature. A knock on the double doors lead you into the lobby of the house. Just walking into the property, it's a true MCM oasis. To find out the property only has just the primary bedroom was insane as it was massive. Theres no picture allowed inside but outside was fine. Hema, very detailed in everything she explained was very sweet and detail oriented. Walking through the different rooms and seeing all the amazing things collected by both Walter and Leonore Annenberg was quite interesting. The office which house all of Walter's work, pictures of family, friends and political figures. The different room that's in the main house, their amazing artwork which some are the original pieces. Then you have the way they lived, very elegantly. Each room had their own unique style. The designer and architect sure had their hands full with detail designed of everything on site. The furniture, one of a kind design with amazing embroidery. Walter had an amazing collection of artwork and sculptures. Seeing them throughout the house and the way it was displayed in different room of the house was spectacular. Even the kitchen was nice. Still fully functional as it's still used for summits. The outside alone is one in a million. The massive property with many lakes that is fully stocked for fishing. The golf course which is a golfers heaven. And then you have the pool with a million dollar view of the mountains as the backdrop. Not only the main house, there's the guest house which is utilized for guest. And they're know by different color rooms. And by that, it's fully decorated in the color palette. That building also all looks out to the pool and mountain. Leonore, with her favorite color yellow also had a rose garden designed in the property. The tour lets you inside the lives of the Annenberg and the amazing lives they've lived. Housing major political figures, celebrities and the amazing parties had. The massive art collection and endless photos of everyone, it was a sight to see. This is a tour worth checking out and learning about the Annenberg. Plus, Hema our tour guide was excellent.
