This is a great spot for ASU students, staff, and visitors, but not really for the public since the closest parking isn't super close and I hate paying for parking anyways. However, I found myself on campus to attend a conference session and was hungry, so I walked over here for some crepes. I ordered my favorite, the nutella with strawberries, and I was on my way. It seems to take a while here and they can get busy. I love how tasty the crepe is, even after a few hours. It's a nice area to sit and enjoy your food, there are a few places to sit and it's mostly shaded. I had a coupon for a free crepe so this was definitely worth my visit. read more

So I just realized this past week that though I'm on the ASU Tempe Campus every day working, I didn't know that The Crepe Club was right in the heart of it. What an amazing hidden gem in the middle of the campus!! I stopped by today for the first time, and had such a positive experience. Among other students and staff, it was clear watching others order that everyone was there for something different. Some stopped by for the delicious coffee. Others for a "Sweet Crepe" like the "S'Mores Nutella" or "Strawberry Shortcrepe." I stopped by on the other hand for a "Savory Crepe" for lunch. I chose the Mediterranean Chicken regular-size crepe, made with grilled chicken, mozzarella, garlic, and sun dried tomato aioli. Yum!! I would have loved to try one of the "Sweet Crepes" though the crepe I had was so filling that I didn't have room for another one, even if it was dessert. That just means that I need to come back another day. I was greeted by Maria, who recognized me from a long while back when she managed another dining venue on the campus. Not only did I feel like a valued customer, but I saw Maria and her staff treating EVERY student and staff member before and after me with the same respect. That's called customer service! She even walked around checking on how everyone was doing and what they thought of the food. I should say that this particular location of The Crepe Club is an outdoor stand-alone restaurant with outdoor seating, though I had no problem finding a place to sit. I wonder what it would have been like between classes though. Regardless, the delicious food and the great customer service make it worth stopping by! I look forward to trying out their Biltmore location at some point soon. read more

When I went to ASU back in the day, there was mostly fast food on campus. It's nice to see some delicious eats coming to campus. I love the story of this place about three brothers coming from Syria to attend ASU. They got their degrees and then started up a crepe cart on campus. It became so popular that they recently opened their own restaurant at the Biltmore. Now they have opened up this permanent location right next to Old Main. I got two mini crepes so I could try both a sweet and savory one. The creme de lemon was nice and warm and I enjoyed the delicious lemon aftertaste. The chicken florentine is packed with flavor - grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms, spinach and mozzarella cheese. Super good! This location has a walk up window with an outdoor patio area with tables and shading. What a nice addition to my old digs. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 1st and LAST TRIP TO CREPE CLUB Today, July 9th at 4:00pm,  I chose the crepe club with my family for an afternoon treat. We had just landed and traveled from Boston earlier in the day. Trying to escape the heat, we decided to go to the Scottsdale fashion square mall. The crepe club was the first place we stopped and I regret that decision. We stopped because of the ad displaying crepe cones. When we tried to order, a rude teenager named Lauren and the manager immediately said that they can't do the cone and wouldn't serve it. I simply asked , "why would you have a sign up advertising if they didn't offer it. She said " ok, fine ..... we'll do it". My daughter and I ordered 2 crepe cones. Lauren said the total was ~19.95. I said why is the total 20 dollars for 2 crepe cones? I said I'd like to get the small. Lauren again, rudely said we don't offer the small and pointed to a feeble sign in small font that said they only offer regular sizes at 10.00 each. This was my first time ever ordering at crepe club and I did not see the sign. Why they are not verbally telling customers ....,,I don't know. I then said, so everything being advertised here is basically false. No crepe cones and no small servings of any kind? Lauren told me "I needed to chill". I said.... "I'm trying it's the first day of my vacation!!" I have to say..... this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I work with teenagers for my career and the level of disrespect and rudeness this young Lauren displayed was at an all time high. Literally, "takes the crepe". To top it off, the crepes we had were severely undercooked. Think about a wet, soggy, thin crepe. So I basically sacrificed $20.00 for ice cream, a little fruit and whipped cream. I hope you use this information info wisely so that you never have to encounter a crappy crepe with a sassy, disrespectful teenager taking your order. read more

Exceptional service! I tried the regular size chicken florentine crepe with a traditional unsweetened ice tea. The crepe was loaded and the ingredients complemented each other really well. I was happy that it wasn't salty as some other crepe places are. The portion was large and I had to pack what I couldn't finish. The tea was my favorite. It wasn't overwhelming or bitter; I didn't even put sugar! The hot weather made it the cold tea taste even better. Maria, one of the ladies who looked like she was in charge, was very kind! The location on campus is very accessible, sitting right outside noble library, the engineering center, and within close proximity to palm walk. Before it was The Crepe Club it was a subpar coffee place and I'm truly glad that it's changed. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much. I was on campus and hungry. Someone recommend the Crepe Club. It is a fast food style restaurant- order, pick it up when done then find some place to eat it. I ordered a regular/large chicken Florentine and a small s'mores. They were served in triangular cardboard holders. The chicken was nicely seasoned with fresh spinach and mushrooms. The s'mores had Nutella, marshmallows and biscoff crumbles. Both were tasty. The only downside was that is was challenging to eat crepes like this. I'd prefer a plate, knife and fork but realize this is easier for take out. Next time I want to see what a strawberry one tastes like! read more

Green eggs, no ham I ordered one of the breakfast crepes and the eggs that came on it were old and crusty and turning a dark yellow almost green color. Not worth what I paid for. My friend I ordered Paninis and the portion is REALLY small. I had to request them to remake my panini as there were two small pieces of cherry tomato and an inch of mozzarella cheese at the edge. Horrible experience. The crepes and coffee were super expensive and not that great. Not to mention, the cashier messed up my order and gave me a crepe instead of a coffee. When I pointed out the mistake (nicely), she said she would make me a coffee and that I could keep the crepe. As I waited for her to make the coffee that I ordered and paid for, her and her coworkers talked shit about me as I was standing right there. I went to the new crepe club location on the asu campus where an employee was offering crepe samples. I asked her not once, but two times if it contained tree nuts because I am severely allergic to them, and both times she confidently said no. I tried one and after eating it I asked her if there was nutella in there because I thought I tasted it and she replied "yes there is". Well, nutellas main ingredients is hazelnuts, which is in fact a tree nut. I immediately started feeling an anaphylactic shock arising. I tried to regurgitate the crepe but was unsuccessful. I had my brother drive me in a hurry to get my medications to help reverse the effect of the deadly reaction. Not only was it not disclosed that the food had potential allergens, but I asked specifically if it contained one category of allergens and was given an uneducated assumption that led to much suffering and could have possibly been the end of my life. I emailed the crepe club and they ignored it. A month later I re-emailed them and asked them to respond to my first email, their response was "We have found that there has not been any wrong doing on our end, but we appreciate your feedback and would be happy to offer you a free Crepe of your choosing, should you stop by our location again." Their reaction was negligible and unacceptable so I will definitely never go there again. read more
