We met Hector in October and really liked his approach to drawing up a new look for our garden. All we had were several of the usual boxwoods, caesalpinia, and a lime tree. The new image had to be colorful so we approved the 5 yellow trumpet flower bushes because we love the hummingbirds and pollinators so much. Two additional spots would be occupied by two very generous ocotillos, always a favorite. We needed front and back faucets to be upgraded and a regular maintenance team as the spring season requires. We made a date for work to start in early December due to all of our personal commitments. The initial crew worked to rearrange the rocks in the patio area and set up the plantings. They are hard-working and knowledgeable and we appreciated the changes they made. Scheduling is easy with Hector because he responds to messages quickly and he is flexible and understands the importance of the client's needs. This past week the team arrived to prep the ground in the semi-circle of turf and to rearrange the rocks and clean up. His 3D plans should have been approved in a day but our HOA took over 3 weeks to approve our plans but Obebd kept working making things happen. We had numerous quotes and Luxury was not the cheapest but his design ideas and integrity made it worth doing business with Luxury Landscaping. We have never done business together because he was too impatient to resolve his technical issues with my willing staff. In fact, I pointed out that my company offers a service that is widely available in the state of Colorado, and he can choose from any of them. What makes me different is that I do things on a very, very small scale from my house. I cater to dogs who are anxious or in need of a smaller environment with less dogs. Simply put, I do things my way. The company is, "Kat's K9s" for a reason. Next, the phone number associated with my business belongs to me and has dual purpose. Therefore, I will answer when I am able. I digress. My intention here is to return the favor since he did try to advertise his services to me during our initial phone conversion and via email (prior to my old dog being rushed to the vet, unbeknownst to any of us). I would have loved to have an opportunity to receive services from this company, but based on the interactions I have had with Mr. Edward, I am less likely. To clarify, Mr. Edward had a polite tone and gave me the impression that he was very understanding during our initial phone call. However, when he was unable to reach me due to my personal emergency and calling multiple times, his disrespect was clear. Mr. Edward caught me at a vulnerable time when I could not get to my phone.
