Best food in Franklin. Hands down. They anything, you won't go wrong. Nicest people working every time I go inside and even in the drive thru.

I really enjoyed my evening at the Curry House! Conveniently located just off of 495- and offering a drive-through- the Curry House offers good and convenient Indian food. We dined inside; there's one dining room and plenty of square tables and chairs (no booths or anything like that). It was a little cold inside, but they were trying to offset that with a space heater. I enjoyed my mango lassi, as did my dining companions, half of whom were trying Indian for the first time! They had a good experience; they liked their palak paneer and tandoori chicken kebab (mild, of course). I also enjoyed the palak paneer, although it was a tad soupy. Tasted great, though. The naan was also a standout, it's hard to mess up naan but I thought theirs was the perfect, soft texture. I tried the tandoori chicken and it was quite tasty. My friend said his chicken biryani was good, too. Our food came quickly, although there was a slight snafu with ordering; we asked for a couple more minutes with the menu when the waiter first came by for our order, and then he never came back! A different waiter ended up serving us after a while. But no biggie, more time to spend with my compatriots!

The Curry House has its own parking lot so you do not need to worry about parking. There is also a drive through window. I came here on a Sunday afternoon. There were a few tables occupied but it wasn't too busy. When we sat down, the waiter informed us about the lunch combo. The lunch combo was $11.95+tax and definitely worth it. You choose either meat or vegetarian. We chose the meat lunch combo and got 3 different types of chicken curries with rice, naan, samosa, and tandoori chicken. The portions were generous and very filling. I think at some point of time there was a lunch buffet, but now the lunch combo is prepared by the waiter and they bring it to your table. You can also order a la carte items off the menu as well. The food was really tasty and I would definitely come back.

Nothing but great things to say about The Curry House. Food is fresh and authentic. I only had the chance to try two items...the chicken saag and lamb samosa, both were YUMMY! If you've never tried chicken saag give it a try. Such a delicious blend of creamy spinach with spices and tender pieces of chicken. Service was on point. I sat at the bar and had multiple servers checking in on me. I also got to meet the owner. She is awesome! I asked for a spicy sauce for my food and she whipped up something nice and spicy, The inside is nice and spacious. Smaller bar area but plenty of other seating options. They even have a drive through for to-go orders. Can't wait to return for some more delicious Indian food!

    This was not worth $16.00.

Very disappointed. I have been getting the lunch combo for several years and each time the portions have gone down, while the cost has gone up. Yesterday's meal was $16.50 for a lunch special and I got one small piece of chicken. I will not be going back for this meal. Very disappointed as food does taste good but this is not worth the money.

Lunch special: chicken masala, tandoori, curry plus two diff types of naan, samosa and coconut dessert

We came here on a Saturday for their lunch specials, take out only. It's not listed on their menu but they basically have two kinds: non-vegetarian and vegetarian. We bought the non-vegetarian which is a mix of rice and chicken breast in tandoori, curry, and tikka masala, so you get a mix of a little bit of everything. In addition, there were garlic and regular nann, plus coconut rice pudding all for $10!! For the amount of food and variety, I'd say this is the best value I've seen around Massachusetts for an South Asian restaurant. The food was great and I'd prefer if they used chicken thigh or drumsticks instead and make the naan more soft (personal preference). But overall, I'd definitely order from here again! Service was also excellent. They have a parking lot and drive through so easy for contactless take outs.

Very oily, and the chicken with chewy not my favorite. The flavor was decent for the tikka masala.

Everyone who works there is friendly and inviting, and even gave us a cute little amuse to start the night and the buckwheat shortbread to end. Here's everything we ordered: Agnolotti stuffed with tofu ricotta, with English peas, bacon, and a savory broth (my entree, I loved this - the broth was quite salty but the peas added a lovely freshness) Fazzoletti e funghi: local blue oyster mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce ‍ (my Mom's entree, also delicious and so umami) "Ivy rose" mocktail with grapefruit, prickly pear, and limeade (delightful!) Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect. Foglia burger: house burger patty, tomato jam, garlic aioli, lettuce, onions, pickles, onion ring, housemade focaccia, and spicy agave parsnip fries (my dad's entree and to my delight he really enjoyed it!) Dessert: a gigantic slice of tiramisu (my favorite cake!). This was a huge slab, enough to share and have some leftover for breakfast. A little on the dry side for tiramisu but still really nice. Foglia is such a gem and we had a great time in Bristol, it's a beautiful town. The restaurant is small and cozy but was not too busy when we went. I highly recommend Foglia for a special occasion!

I SO badly wanted to love it but I just can't give the place above a 2 star. The first thing they…read morebrought was almost comical: a nickel-sized square of focaccia with a bit of jam and cheese. I have never in my life been served what I'd consider half a bite of food. I'd almost rather they bring nothing at all than a comically small piece of bread. My food (basil pesto pasta) was good but the quantities are quite small, especially for the price. TLDR: Don't come hungry or on a budget. The real reason for the low rating was the $34 mushroom entree. "Potatoes" here just means two bites of potato, which is kind of crazy considering how cheap potatoes are. "Carrots" meant 4 (kind of sad) carrots, and the mushroom (the main part of the dish) was so small it was comical. My dad was disappointed (he also wanted to love it here) and when they asked how it was, he gave his honest feedback. The waitress took the info back and he repeated his thoughts to the manager about the disappointing portion. He said he only got like two bites of potato and she said "oh they weren't in pyramids?" (Like that resolves the quantity of food?) He repeated again that it was about the quantity and was told "No one has said that about this." I suppose people must only have thought it... Felt really dismissive to say to someone, especially because this plate was apparently new (they said today was the first day they had it). They didn't comp anything or even discount it after the manager came over, which I feel like is standard practice when folks are unhappy with their meal. Felt like she just wanted to shut down the complaint rather than resolve it. They brought us, at the end of the meal, a "thank you" which was 2 lemon candies... there were 3 of us (not that we really wanted them anyway, but weird to not give at least one per person). The atmosphere is relaxed, the place is quite small in a sweet way and it's tucked away from the street, but I will never return. Ridiculous pricing for tiny portions. It felt like a SNL skit.

In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Brattleboro. Menu items that stand out in no particular order: - Arancini cakes. These were heavenly. They are nicely crisped up at the bottom giving them a bit of a smoky flavor - Seitan salad: fully loaded salad with nice mix of flavors. Can be a bit on the spicy side for some people. - Swedish meatballs: my kids loved these. While waiting for the food and talking with the family I was able to get a good vibe check of the ambiance of this place and I must say I good really great vibe and felt like was just a bunch of happy people eating and having greats convos with one another. :-) On to the food! Nachos - Super awesome and crunchy and fresh. not soggy at all and a huge portion for 15 bucks! Margherita pizza - Super fresh piping hot pizza with fresh tomatoes and Basil! Sriracha Buffalo Cauliflower - This is where things started to turn inconsistent. let's see we had three orders of these and pretty much all three orders looked different, tasted different and some of the bigger pieces were not cooked through. All three of us did share each others to compare tastes. Reggie's Raw Heaven Salad - I did not eat the salad but I looked at it and asked the couple how they liked it and they said it was awesome! Note to self to try next time! Sweet Potato Wedges - Hot and fresh but again with the inconsistency, some were over cooked almost burnt and some were a little under cooked but for the most part they were nice and crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy soft on the inside.
