Called around 11 to inquire about hours. I was told to come in at 2 pm for an appointment with Albert. I arrived at 2 pm. No one else waiting and a couple barbers not tending to anyone, probably on break.. cool. I was told Albert is almost done and he'll be right with me. Two walked in about 10-15 after me and were sat down in a chair and began to get their hair cut. I waited till 2:30 and walked out. I was upset with my experience. The previous experiences resulted in a good hair cut, but long wait due to " the walk ins" I'm assuming their friends who get priority. I work a lot, so my free time is sacred. I wouldn't go here unless you know them personally. Expect to block out 2 hours of your day to get a haircut on the weekends when it's a bit busier, and 1-1.5 hours when they aren't busy. Came in for a fade and line up, my barber was good, I got a clean cut and beard trim. The atmosphere ain't really my thing, but the place was clean. I've been bringing my son here for a year , he's 9 so the fact that they have a pool ya le and pet lizard or something like that is a plus . If you want a quality haircut and to be treated nice, don't go here. Call it a bad experience going here, but they did not deliver on the haircut I wanted. If you ask for a buzz cut, you should get a buzz cut. If you want it a certain length, they should do it a certain length. They botched the haircut and didn't seem to care. Sure, I've stopped at some of the other places in Riverside that specialize in traditional barbering, but none of them have the same look and feel as The Cut. Eric the shop owner, has been my go to since day one and his cuts are always clean and on point. His razor skill is perfect, he's also efficient and makes time to chat while still churning out clean and tight cuts. I always got for a traditional comb over style and he nails it perfectly.
