This is a large open space and was cold inside. I ended up getting some items to go because it was too cold to take off my coat. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, peanut butter filled cupcake, a long john donut, and a chai tea. The chai tea latte was good. The rest of the food was meh. I didn't finish eating the rest of the cupcake and the sandwich was very basic and kind of tasted funny. A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!! Would go back for it alone. My husband didn't even wait until we got to the car to try his Buckeye donut and he loved it. Their apple fritter was better than one I bought earlier that morning from a bakery. I didn't think the raspberry jelly filled had nearly enough filling. It easily needed tripled. I say that as someone who worked for three years in a bakery and filled donuts. The drink cooler was not very cold so drinks were not enjoyable. They told us they were out of French Toast after we ordered and paid. When we got to our table we realized that the grilled cheese was $5.80 less than the French toast so after a little debate my wife went up to the counter and explained it and the guy offered her some of the last of the donuts, my wife said no thanks and the guy gave her a five dollar bill. The grilled cheese was not good. My breakfast sandwich was warm and not too bad. It had bacon with a maple taste. The biscuit was fresh but not sure it was made on site. The total bill for the sandwiches, no sides, and a dozen donuts was about $50, $45, counting the $5 back. It felt about $20 overpriced for what we got. The cashier was unfriendly and aloof from the beginning. Maybe he was having a bad day. We were the only customers at about 12:30 on a Saturday.
