There no big flashy sign anywhere to tell you "Here we are!" So try not to miss this one. We walked in around 10:15am and I was concerned we may be too late to get a good selection bc I've read plenty of reviews saying they sell out daily and to get there early. It's a small shop by a gas station. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and they were ready to take our order before we were ready to give it. I asked about a couple of the varieties in the display counter and those answers helped me make my selections. We ended up with 6 different varieties. A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!! Would go back for it alone. My husband didn't even wait until we got to the car to try his Buckeye donut and he loved it. Their apple fritter was better than one I bought earlier that morning from a bakery. I didn't think the raspberry jelly filled had nearly enough filling. It easily needed tripled. I say that as someone who worked for three years in a bakery and filled donuts. All in all this was a great stop and if we're in the area again we would definitely drop by to see what's being served. read more

Never ever disappointed by Lil Donut Factory! Donuts are always delicious and the staff is always beyond pleasant and helpful. Unassuming location attached to one side of a gas station but easy to get in and out. The Apple fritter is a personal favorite. read more

I come here in the morning sometimes after work and I always get a half dozen. The donuts are delicious and it's only $7 for a half dozen. The ladies and gentlemen working are always kind and helpful! The inside is just like any other donut shop it's always clean and the donut cases are always being stocked. I love how they have a huge variety of donuts there's a donut for everyone! I personally like the lemon donut, they are always so fresh and fluffy. read more

Love this lil place! This is the second time I've had donuts delivered to my workplace and was very pleased by the quality and variety. My favorite thing about this place is that when ordering, there is an option for peanut allergy and seeing as my coworker is super allergic, it gave me peace of mind that I could a share with her safely. read more

My rating is more for their coffee than their donuts. Their donuts are definitely worth the trip, and considerably better than those found at chains like Tim Horton's, but their coffee is the best I have ever had. I switched to decaf a few years back, and have been disappointed in how decaf tastes at many restaurants. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it here and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike other places, their decaf actually tastes like regular coffee. It's smooth, not bitter, and does not come across as overly acidic in flavor. The staff have always been pleasant to talk with, and efficient at getting you out the door with what you came in for. It is a little small inside, but it is a donut shop, and this seems to be par for the course. read more

Recently moved to the area and was craving some donuts so I decided to check them out after reading their reviews. When I first walked in, I noticed how small this shop is. Even though the space is small, they do limit the number of people inside the store to help with social distancing. Customer service was friendly and the donuts had great flavor. They even have pumpkin spiced donuts! The prices are reasonable too. I will definitely be coming back for more. read more

A few years back my brother moved to the area from PA for work. We came to visit and he took us to this little donut shop that he found out of the blue and I can still taste these donuts in my sleep, they were that good. Great place, get there early because they will close when they run out. They have good coffee and the Long Johns are my favorite. Be prepared for a sugar rush! The cream inside I can not imagine how much sugar is in there. Great place to go, they have a few stools to sit on to enjoy a donut. My limit is one because they are sooooo sweet and yummy. Quaint little donut shop in a shopping strip. Not the best donuts I've had, but they are pretty good. I feel like they could have more filling in them. I got the custard, hubby got the long John and we grabbed a chocolate covered original. All we pretty decent. The filling in the long John is alittle sugary for me. More like cake icing than I like. He also ate a chocolate iced chocolate cake donut before I snapped a pic. He said that was was pretty good too. We stop in here maybe once or twice a year, when we drop our dog off at the groomers in the same plaza. read more

I have to come back earlier in the day to see if they can earn another star. Only had chocolate cake donuts with chocolate icing and sprinkles. Rest was yeast doughnuts. What is it with Ohioans taste in doughnuts??? When I grew south of here, got good cake donuts and that was all we served at Wilmington College's food service, but tastes have gone down hill if they have been accepting this Limited Selection of cake donuts. Small in size just like I like them. $5 for HALF Dozen and $10 for dozen shows that they usually sell them that way. I got 4 and one didn't make it to the car. I will say it is good donut. Might have one as evening snack. My search goes on for a cake donut with maple icing. Don't tell me I have to drive to Ann Arbor for those. OSU's town being beaten in donuts by that school up north's town ( that is how Michigan is called down here) Maybe it is up to me to DEMAND JUSTICE for all cake donuts eaters.!!! read more

Haven't been to LDF in a while, but I always enjoy them. It's a little store front in a gas station plaza that has a drive up window. The donuts are fresh and they close when the goods are sold out for the day (and they do). These aren't bougie, customizable, dipped while you wait donuts, just fresh, ready and really delicious. There is always a good selection of flavors and you can fill a box and enjoy them all with your family. They may have changed vendors, but I did not recommend the coffee, though! read more

I wasn't expecting this little bakery to be near a gas station. By the time I went they were almost out of donuts. I got a red velvet cake donut and an apple fritter. Even though there were limited options their donuts were good. I was a little put off by a fly landing on the donuts. There are some coffee options. Their hours are open until they sell out. It is kind of like Hot Chicken Takeover's business hours model. They are kind of off the beaten path which might be disappointing if someone goes and they are closed because of a sellout day. read more

Literally a lil donut factory. Came here around 10 am on a Saturday and they were already half sold out. Quick and easy selection of all types of donuts, yeast and cake, fancier and plain. My favorite was the maple bacon and hubs liked the cinnamon twist. They're probably not my favorite donuts I've ever had but they're pretty darn good. Workers were friendly enough. Lil Donut factory is a slam dunk. Donuts are delicious and service is wonderful. They opened the drive thru for COVID and seem to have safe practices. They have a good mixture of cake and yeast style donuts. The cake donuts are often smaller and cost less than the large apple fritter or long john. Look out for seasonal flavors! Personal favorites are the red velvet and buckeye. They do run out so be sure to stop by early! read more

Used to be our favorite spot for donuts. Last few times we tried them they just weren't that good. The glazed yeast donut was so dense it was like a cake donut. The cinnamon bun was so crunchy it was almost inedible. The long johns were good but definitely not long. Each was about 4 inches long. Maybe we have just caught them on an off day the last few times but they were not close to being as good as they used to be. We will probably give them another chance or two since they are the closest donut shop to us but if they are the same as the last few times we will drive a little further for better donuts. read more

This is a little hidden gem! The donuts are good, the coffee is GREAT! The employees make the experience though; they're all so nice and upbeat! They gave my pups donut holes and even helped me take stuff to my car since I was carrying my daughter and needed another hand. My fiance and I LOVE the Lil Donut Factory! It's a hidden gem of Hilliard. The shop is small and a little off the beaten path, but so worth stopping in. It's always packed on weekends and the donuts go fast (for good reason, because they're delicious!), so make sure to stop by early to snag your favorites! They also have some great coffee, including cold-brew. One of my favorite things about the Lil Donut Factory is their friendly and welcoming staff! They greet everyone who comes in with huge smiles and are incredibly supportive of other local businesses and events. I work at a college and stopped in one day to ask about leaving postcards for an upcoming event. The staff happily agreed to help advertise by handing out postcards to their customers. This alone made me a loyal customer! read more

The staff and coffee are great, but the 3 different donuts I tried were nothing worth mentioning in my opinion. From a few of the donut places I have tried, this was unfortunately my least favorite place. The first two times I came, they were sold out. Third time I grabbed 3, and I wasn't all that thrilled with the donuts I had. I would much rather drive further for better donuts. read more

These are really good donuts - just enough variety to be interesting, but still well stocked on classic flavors. The red velvet with cream cheese icing and the plain glazed were my favorites, but everything I've gotten there has been good. Cute little Donut Shop with an amazing selection of regular and not so regular donuts ! I grabbed a half dozen and a small bag of The Coffee Mess Smolder Dark Roast. Donuts I ordered were Red Velvet with cream cheese icing drizzle, Chocolate Glazed, Maple Bacon, Buckeye, Boston Creme, and Blueberry Glazed. My favorites were the Red Velvet and the Blueberry Glazed. The coffee is pretty amazing as well! Prices were very reasonable and I'll definitely be back! read more

I have driven by this place several times and was always curious but never stopped, maybe because it is in a plaza shared by a gas station. I walked in and was immediately impressed, especially when I could see someone making donuts. Seeing that I already thought to myself "this place is special". Love the smell and the vibe as soon as I walked. I was greeted with a smile and hello as soon as I walked in the door. So many choices for donuts and everything looked delicious. The main thing is that they had a few vegan options which I loved. Not one or two but three when I was there. Some vegan donuts I have had don't taste good but these were fantastic. I am glad there is another spot that has vegan donut options! Love it! read more

The total bill for the sandwiches, no sides, and a dozen donuts was about $50, $45, counting the $5 back. It felt about $20 overpriced for what we got. The cashier was unfriendly and aloof from the beginning. Maybe he was having a bad day. We were the only customers at about 12:30 on a Saturday.

The DK Diner left a significant impression on my dining experience. It was a cold, sunny February…read moremorning following a snowstorm. Firstly, the quality of the food was exceptional, which is fundamentally what a diner should deliver. We ordered a DK glazed donut, which met expectations, and I chose the Meat & Cheese omelet, which was comparable to other diner offerings. My husband ordered a skillet dish, which he reported as satisfactory. Although visually unremarkable, the taste was commendable. However, the service was disappointing and almost non-existent. During a busy period, there was no hostess apparent, forcing us to inquire at the cashier area about seating. They took our contact information, and shortly afterward, our table was ready. We were seated and provided menus, but the wait for a server to take our order was excessively long. It was indicated that coffee was self-serve and that customers should select their own mug. Subsequently, we observed no further service at our table, and the food was delivered by staff members elsewhere. I had to locate condiments independently. After finishing our meal, we returned to the cashier to settle our bill, which was not presented to us. The seating area within the diner is small, which is expected given the establishment's size. One additional concern is parking: the lot accommodates approximately seven vehicles, and street parking in Grandview Heights is limited. This constrains accessibility and could diminish visitors' overall experience in the area. It is hoped that in the future, the service at this establishment will align with the high quality of its cuisine.

This text read "I got you a donut from CBus". curiosity peaked. Yet the person who wonderfully got me a donut I will not see until Friday. Oh no. what will become if my Donut offering? No worries they said. They shall leave it at my employers for me to enjoy Tuesday morning. Now this is going to be 48 hours after initial procurement of donut. skeptical of its condition I was. Yet I believed. Like this donut was Santa Claus and my gifts would be there and great. Oh my was it ever. A maple bacon donut. I have never in my numerous trips around the sun. so many I no longer have hair and AJ Hawk was a freshman as I a senior. This donut made it from CBus to Sylvania, Ohio. Right next to the soon to be mural capital of the world...Toledo. Now this donut was left and forgotten at two different households. Before it was delivered to me at noonish today by a dear dear friend. Now to the donut. It was simply marvelous. 48 hours. Hundreds of miles in cars. Yet it tasted fresh. The bacon, whole well cooked pieces, still crispy. The cream inside. A surprise. I was not expecting. It too was like it had just been shoved inside the soft donut canoe. Exquisite. You Buckeye donuts, along with Gabby, Emmie and the third driver of this magnificent pastry art piece. Are absolutely amazing.
