It's not a bad place at all. We got half a dozen doughnuts and highly enjoyed them. The customer service was excellent, and the vibe was pretty good. The doughnuts were soft, and the taste was great.

Nice little donut and bagel shop in Hilliard. Donuts were good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Headed out for a little snack for breakfast this morning at Daylight Donuts and Cafe in Hilliard. I ordered a Chocolate Cream Horn and a Raspberry filled donut. The business has a small area for sitting down and having coffee if you want. On to the donuts, the Chocolate Cream Horn had a nice sort of crispy texture and a good amount of creamy vanilla filling inside. Definitely not skimpy on the chocolate on top. Great tasting and filling. The Raspberry Donut had a very tasty filling inside, no skimping on the filling. A nice glaze on the outside. Definitely need to come back to try more.

Everything bagel with cream cheese.

Saturday morning time killer visit. This doughnut shop is located on the first floor of some new loft apartments in Hilliard. The featured doughnuts look great! The store was busy and happy with music playing at just right volume. I Got a plain coffee and everything bagel with cream cheese . The bagel looked like something I've gotten at the grocery store. It could be made there, but not sure. They offer door dash pickup . I know this because there was a driver there yammering into his speaker phone. Boy does that bug me. Steady flow of customers while I was there. Great! There is a big selection of coffees including Turkish coffee and the staff was exceedingly old fashioned polite.

Stopped into here for Columbus Donut Week mid Corona-virus. Despite being only a little after 9, the donut cases were near-empty with some donuts completely sold out. (Which - hey, coronavirus, so lots of slack should be given.) The employee working the counter might have had a rough morning because they seemed really short-tempered and like I was bothering them. (I asked for a second item of a donut I'd already asked for, and his response was "You said you only wanted one" before staring at me). Despite the building feeling modern (and in a really cute apartment complex) and the donut's bright designs, I just didn't feel particularly welcome in the store. Donuts are a-okay, though. They weren't the best donuts I've had, but they definitely scratched the "sweet donut" itch I had. They weren't overly dry, were sweet when you ordered sweet-varieties, and looked pretty darn adorable (especially their Strawberry Sprinkles!).

I ordered two long johns's on the app yesterday morning (paid and tipped as well) for my husband and I. I walked over to pick them up and went in the store where they were boxed up and ready to go. Delicious. They offer delivery via third party or pickup from the app MyCoffeeHelper, or they are also allowing people inside to choose their selections. They also have curbside pickup.

It's a cramped location. The donut shop has a lot of variety and options, but each left us a bit wanting. The Turkish coffee had a half inch of grounds in the bottom of the tiny cup. The chocolate glazed was dry. The bucket donut was crumbling. The Oreo had a very fine powder of cookies so much so that more ended up on my plate than on the donut. The vanilla crepe filled had limited filling. It was a fun visit, but not what was expected quality wise.

My friend had passed by this place on her way to meet us at Starliner Diner, so we had to check it out after we finished our breakfast. It's located within the Landmark Lofts complex, so I'm sure a lot of their patrons are people who live here if not close by. We walked in a little before noon and there was a lady with her kid and another family eating here with their kids. Seemed like they had just finished a soccer game. A lot of families seem to come in here and I also saw some young adults grabbing donuts. There are lots of tables and booths to sit at. It's a nice room with tables that aren't super close to each other. The light fixtures are cool too! They've got food if you don't want donuts. Soups, salads, sandwiches. And of course, you can also get coffee. It doesn't seem to get loud in here. There was a nice flow of people leaving and going. Service was great! The girls working there were really nice. They've got a good variety of donuts although a lot of them looked like plain donuts with icing that had flavoring. They do have chocolate donuts and a lot of your standard types as well as a few creative flavors. Nothing too out there like a mocha donut or earl grey donut. It seemed like the selection was similar to Buckeye Donut. I got the Halloween party donut. It was a plain donut with vanilla icing that they colored black and pretzels. It looked like a spider. Cute! My other friends got a pumpkin donut, a glazed donut, and donut holes. The donut holes had a nice vanilla flavor that I enjoyed. The pumpkin donut was light on the pumpkin but nothing standout. Prices were cheap! For all of those donuts, it was under $4! Wow! They're light and airy donuts so not cakey at all. I definitely didn't feel bad eating it at all. You can find parking in a lot right next to it.

Bacon (halal), Egg and Cheese bagel and Turkish coffee

Great environment, great people, and of course the best Turkish coffee and donuts in Hilliard. Mazzim was very kind and informative. I'd definitely recommend for breakfast

Some of the best Donuts I have had in a long time. The cherry fritter was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The long John's were amazing and full of good yummy cream. The bear claw broke apart easily for sharing. Will definitely be back

This place is cute and has a great location right next to a Yabo's tacos and a soon to open Rita's. There's a decent amount of seating and plenty of windows. Honestly though it just reminded me of an off brand Tim Hortons with a smaller coffee collection. They had a variety of donuts, but nothing unique and the Bavarian cream I ordered was nothing to write home about.

I was craving a breakfast sandwich and after looking up lots of places, I can across Daylight donuts and cafe. I got bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I also got an Apple fritter cause it looked good. Sandwich was ok. The bagel was a little hard but the bacon was delicious. The Apple fritter was HUGE but also good. I'd go again to try different donuts but probably not for the breakfast sandwich again.

Never had a buckeye donut that was better. The fresh cracked egg sandwiches on bagels are superior for sure.

It was a good bit north of "well done." I asked for no pickle and got pickle. I really don't like the taste of pickle, but was not going to ask for a new burger just because it has some pickle juice on it. The bun was nicely grilled. I was not sure whether to get sweet potatoes fries or regular fries and the cashier offered a mix. I liked that and both types of fries were very good -- served hot and seemed like they were cooked in fresh and clean oil. The regular fries had just a touch of breading or batter, I think. The fries were the best part of my meal. No fountain soft drinks and just a soda in a can for $2. That's definitely a point against them. The store was extremely clean and it looks like they had good desserts. They have egg for their burgers which is a plus for me. They bill themselves as halal-friendly, that's good. Lots of vegetarian choices on the menu.

I remember it clearly as I was a newbie to Central Ohio and they sold Cheerwine* in bottles. From there, I've caught them at a handful of small festivals, at Platform, and at Pins Mechanical when they parked there for a while. I've had the por'ketta sandwich, the potato salad, and the pork sundae. I could have reviewed these guys quite a while ago but I guess I was waiting for a certain dish to push me over the 'review this now' ledge. Well, I had that dish this weekend at Platform. (Where these guys are parked on Saturdays.) I had the breakfast sandwich. The bread, same that is used for the other sandwiches, was beautiful. On the sandwich were roasted red peppers, that had been peeled! I really dislike fire roasted things that haven't been peeled (i.e. tomatoes, peppers) so when I saw that the ones on the sandwich were peeled I was stoked! It shouldn't be a secret, I freakin' LOVE mayo and mayo based things (Duke's mayo forever). But, MAN the aioli used on this sandwich was on point. The thyme in it took it over the top! The bacon was great and complimented the other ingredients well. The only thing I wasn't too keen on, at first, were the scrambled eggs on the sandwich. It looked (and smelled) a bit overcooked on one side of the sandwich. However, after a few bites into the sandwich, my dislike of the scrambled eggs changed when I realized that they had crisped the cheese to the bottom side of the eggs. I love crispy, toasted cheese! With the sandwich came a side of griddled potatoes. These guys are likely the same potatoes that get crafted into potato salad. There's a vinegar backing that reminded me of the potato salad. They complimented the sandwich oh so we'll. The gentleman that was working even brought out our dog some chicken! Our dog loved it of course and wants to already know when we can go back for brunch at Platform. Por'ketta serves the breakfasty side of their menu till 2 when they switch to lunch. As a note I had my wife order the sandwich as it comes; these guys would surely honor egg style requests. Next time I get the breakfast sandwich, I will ask for an egg with a soft yoke- as that would have made this sandwich untouchable by any other food truck (and likely restaurant) breakfast sandwich. ----- *Cheerwine is a North Carolina based cherry soda. You can find it a handful of places now- Kenny Road, Savor Pints, any of the City BBQs just to name a few. (p.s. I am not affiliated with Cheerwine, just a Southerner who likes a little taste of home)

We really wanted Frenchi's, so we drove up to this OG location. No line which is great! A nice woman was working the counter. We got our sammies and brought them home. They were as solid as always, but there's some things I have to note: Frenchi himself always made our sandwiches to perfection. Toasted, hot, perfectly made. The two times we had another employee make them, they are just different. Same ingredients, but different ratios maybe? Today my husbands Eiffel came super toasty and meats/cheese heated up in a microwave (or toaster oven maybe?) My Buckeye always used to come warm, but only if Frenchi made it. Twice now, I got barely toasted and my meat wasn't warmed at all. Also, man I loveeee the house made chipotle mayo but today was just way too much sauce. Yes, I should have spoken up about what I specifically wanted, but part of my reviews need to include things like consistency. Today was fine, but not the 5 star I've come to expect. One star off for the other location being closed and not posted anywhere. One star off for inconsistent sandwiches.
