Located behind Teague meat market in Chapin SC. A hop, skip, walk or drive locally to this quaint cafe. Small or one might say cozy seating choices, limited indoor & outdoor patio options. The menu is typical cafe samplers for breakfast, lunch, dinner for reasonable price. $2.50 may be common for OJ but seems high when I see it. Service was very pleasant and cordial. My main negative that is not on the business itself but the amount of flies you have to battle on patio makes enjoying meal difficult. The patio would be serene if not for this, I don't think I could sit out there again until the season changes. A local option for quick bite, bring a flyswatter or wait for indoor seating.

    Double espresso.

The coffee at 1pm was old and almost room temperature. For 3 bucks for drip I would like it to be above 98 degrees.

I really need to try something new, but it's my favorite. My kiddos love their steak and crab legs. We've always found the crab legs to be reasonably priced. Their specials rotate, but you are bound to find something amazing! My husband tries a new dish each visit and always says they're fantastic! It's a great spot and I highly recommend a visit!

The prices are reasonable compared to SoFlo. My favorite thing is their hush puppies. Perfectly fried and soft on the inside. We usually go for dinner. This time we were there for lunch. We ordered the special Mahi with a side of fries. My husband Mahi was served blackened, delicious fresh and perfectly cooked. I ordered the grouper bites with two sides, sautéd veggies and hush puppies. The grouper was fresh, plentiful. I usually order the fried green tomatoes and the hush puppies as a starter. We have also had the pasta and the crab cakes, equally delicious. Menu also offers burgers, sandwiches, wings and vegetarian options. There's outdoor seating. And parking in the back. Highly recommend.

We started with the deviled eggs which seemed like they didn't even try to add flavor. Only one person in the group ordered steak which was not cooked to the order, and was completely unevenly prepared. Two people in the group ordered the burger which were ordered as medium and came overly well done. The prices are the only high end items on the menu. I have no problem paying for a decent meal, however the Chophouse of Chapin needs to address the food quality. I would advise to go elsewhere for your dinner plans.

Not sure about the music selection, as we dove right into scanning the menu and enjoying the options. We had the Japanese fried chicken (3.5/6) and the Prosciutto Wrapped Fontina (6/6) would definitely order again as it was delicious. We selected the butchers board (6/6) with asparagus & bacon mac and cheese for our sides - medium rare of course. The spread was delicious. We had a mule and a blueberry spritz to accompany the meal. As the sun set, the locations lights seemed to dim as well, ramping up the intimate feel. Server checked in multiple times (her name is Victoria Batte). Ordered crème brûlée for dessert and left stuffed.
