The hot reuben had good amounts of grilled sliced lean corned beef (charred along a few edges) with minimal fat, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and very little Russian dressing on soft toasted bread, no pickle though.The meat had a very chewy texture. I went there on a recommendation from a friend to pick up wonderful sourdough bread, and I found a full fledged bakery with breakfast and lunch sandwiches, a variety of muffins and donuts, and yes, superb sourdough bread, neatly wrapped. One Way Bakery has a 10% discount for both military and first responders, making me want to go over there more often. I brought home this sourdough bread and it was absolutely delicious, toasted with butter and honey on top. Yummy. I also tried half a blueberry donut which was exquisite. After a couple of pieces of bread, I only had space in my stomach for a half a muffin. But it was nonetheless. The service was superb, with smiling attendants, explaining the different offerings in the bakery. When in Claremont, this will be a must stop location.
