A good place for ice cream and greasy food. It has a good size menu. This is much like Dairy Queen but without the corporate image. It has the advantage of being the only ice cream place in Bellville. There isn't much else going on around it. A popular feature in many small town ice cream places is the walk up window, with the menu on various pieces of paper taped around it. It gives it a charm unlike the corporate ice cream chains. The inside is pretty small. It only has a few tables, so many people go to the window and sit outside. The ice cream includes basic flavors and some others, and they have the option of mixing in things. It also has a drive thru, which always seems to have a line. It has a shared parking lot with a car wash, so it's usually easy to find somewhere to park. There's a bridge over the river so it's a good place to walk.

The wife and I were on the way back from Mansfield and decided to get a cone. They have a drive through but don't go fast, you'll drop the bottom end out of your car. Tbh the soft serve is pretty darn good we both got a medium and I think it was right at $5. It's the first cone we're the chocolate actually had a very identifiable chocolate taste. It was very good and for a medium it was plenty for us. The dark haired young lady that helped us was very polite, hospitable, and prompt. We have stopped in one other time since this post and it was equally as good. A small jewel in a small town.

When I had placed my order, the lady in charge (owner or manager) had just (verbally) told off a man. I suppose that should have a clue about what we might experience. I chose 2 stars because the ice cream is really good. Everyone loved theirs order. My wife said the soft serve cone was one of the best she's ever had. However, the customer service deserves 0-1 stars. When she handed the cone to my brother in law for my 4-year old nephew, he said," I asked for a cup." She replied," You said cone." Try to imagine a very harsh tone here. After I finished my shake, I went to ask for water. I very gingerly asked if I could have a cup of ice water. She came back and said, ".25." I didn't have any money, so I said, "sorry, let me go see if I can find some." She said," you don't have any money?!." "No, I said. We just had a very larger order. We're sitting over there." She said, "I don't usually give out water for free. Do you know what goes into this cup." At that point, I said, "Sorry, if it's that big of a deal, don't worry about it." I guess I shouldn't have assumed I could get ice water with an order of ice cream. I hope the person finds happiness, or whatever was bothering her that day was just a short-term thing. It would be a shame to create a reputation of rude treatment when the ice cream is so good.

All the kids from the school come over for treats after school and it seems the place always has a short line. Prices are fair and portions are decent. I ordered the pizza burger, zucchini fries and an ice cream cone, my Plus 1 had a corn dog, broccoli cheese bites and Texas cake sundae. The pizza burger was the surprise I didn't know I wanted when I searched out the place. We were looking for home cooked faire and googled what was nearby. The burger was cooked just right and I ordered it supreme with peppers, onions and mushrooms. The zucchini fries were just that - breaded zucchini, deep fried. My ice cream was 'Grandma's oatmeal cookie' on a basic wafer cone. My 'Plus 1' ordered a basic State Fair corn dog. The Broccoli Cheddar Melts were something we've never had before. It was like a Broccoli popper - deep fried cheesy goodness. Her sundae was a brownie with vanilla soft-serve, drizzled in hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. The ambiance was so reminiscent of ice cream places our family would walk us too years ago on a hot summer night. Vintage music playing overhead and picnic benches throughout. Our only downside is we didn't see a public restroom. Not that there may not have been one but it wasn't apparent from the seating area. They are pet friendly and we saw a few paws around including our own enjoying the shade. Please note - eating area is outdoors and possibly only enjoyable on good weather days.

Pancho's has been open for about three years now, and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into making it welcoming. The restaurant is cutely decorated with Mexican paintings and tasteful little knickknacks, giving it a comfortable, relaxed feel. Even though it was New Year's Day, it wasn't packed -- but there was a nice steady crowd, which is always a good sign. We were seated quickly, greeted right away, and brought complimentary chips and salsa. Both were fresh and really good -- the kind you keep reaching for. I ordered the Pancho's Burrito, which lets you choose your protein. I went with taco meat. It comes loaded with fajita veggies (peppers and onions) and normally topped with red enchilada sauce, but I asked to swap that out for queso cheese sauce instead. There was a small upcharge, but it was totally worth it. The burrito also came with rice and beans, and all of that for $13.99 felt like a great value. The burrito was huge and absolutely delicious -- I could barely finish it. My wife ordered the Pancho's Combo, which included a chicken soft taco, a steak hard taco (she swapped it for ground beef), and a chicken enchilada. It was served with rice, lettuce, sour cream, cheese sauce, and guacamole. She said everything was really good and cooked perfectly. To top it off, we finished with churros, which were cooked to order and served warm with honey and chocolate dipping sauce. A perfect ending to the meal. Service was fast and friendly, thanks to Rina, who did a great job taking care of us. I honestly wish this place was closer to where we live because I'd be here a lot more often. Next time I'm traveling through the area and looking for something to eat, Pancho's Tacos will definitely be my go-to spot. Highly recommend!

That was the first experience with the cream center. They were good but I prefer them without cream. I would definitely go back again.

Baseball team then proceeded to sit down and eat their orders in. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food because of this and then when we finally did get it, it was cold. Many people complained to the manager and were told they could wait or they could leave. Refused refunds if they wanted to leave. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never return to this restaurant.
