We've been going to Dental Dimensions for over 8 years now. We get both our regular scheduled cleaning as well as other things like fillings and crowns and dental implants done here. In one of the consults for the dental implant, Deepak found a minor infection in a different part of my gum-line and referred me to a root canal specialist. It was a timely intervention that dramatically improved my dental hygiene. I am also very happy with the dental implant that Dr. Deepak did. It has brought back the ability to chew on hard things on a side of my jaw that I was avoiding for a long time. Fitting the cap on the implant is a very tricky process because of the small clearances needed: they cannot be too wide because food can get stuck in there; they also cannot be too narrow that prevents flossing. When a gap emerged around the cap of my implant, Dr. Deepak ordered a new one and patiently ground away the material to ensure the fit was just right. I have been going to Dental Dimensions for the last 15 years, and I have no words to describe both Dr. Kavita and Dr. Shetty. I am one with history of severe dental issues, and they are almost gone now. I have been to many dentists before this and would generally return with a lot of bruises, inside my mouth after a procedure. Both Dr. Shetty and Dr. K are extremely mindful of this, while giving their patients quality treatment and mouth lacerations , is something I've forgotten. In addition, their front-office , back-office and team of other dentists are equally qualified and competent. .At this point I have to make a mention of Nancy, their front office, nice lady, at the Cupertino office. If I could rate this over 5 stars, I definitely would! First off, customer service is amazing. Both the dentists, the front desk staff, and the dental assistants are so considerate and sweet. Every time I come they make me feel it was worth the visit. I got a filling the other day and I called because it was bothering me, and they got me back in right away to get it checked out. I ended up being allergic to the anesthetic. I have been seeing Dr.Bhatia but she is very meticulous in her work and explains everything so I clearly understand what's going on. I chose Dr. Shetty for my dental implant care after having researched several good implant dentists in the Bay Area. Compared with other dentists, Dr Shetty is very caring, more reasonable and thoughtful. I have been very pleased with Dr. Shetty ever since day one. I was very happy with each step and stage of the process. By the consultation, I was totally convinced by his proposed dental implants plan as he impressed me the most using data and technology to support what he said. Dr. Shetty spoke in a caring manner answering all my questions/ issues/concerns. My dental implant case was a complicated process involving tooth extraction, deep removal of infected tissues, bone grafting, multiple implants and dentures installation etc. The entire process took about 10 months to finish. Also upon during my implant process, I found out that Dr. Shetty teaches and trains other dentists to perfect their dental implant techniques on his weekends. After some extensive research and reviewing my options, I decided to work with Dr Shetty for my dental implants. I've been seeing Dr Shetty for about a little over two years now and it's been a great trip, no regrets and only praises. It all started on great first impressions; very approachable, down to earth, no up selling and just genuine directness. Being a person who loves technology, I was fascinated how Dr Shetty and his office make use of modern technology and their proficiency. I continue to be impressed. When I started on my treatment, there was skeptism on how well this will go on multiple levels. Like anyone who's about to embark on the unknown had their doubts. The office was a bit out of my way, and the drive typically took an hour if not more because of rush hour traffic. In addition, work was going to throw me a curveball having me overseas for weeks at a time. Each time I walk through the office and greated by Nancy, then Dr Shetty, the shadows of doubt go in full retreat. There are many occasions, and I've lost count, that reinforced why Dr Shetty was the right decision. The most memorable and deeply impacting was on my third appointment, there was an accident on Highway 85 and I was not going to make the appointment. I called the office already flustered by the traffic and late to the appointment. What came next sealed the deal for me, "take your time, stay safe, we'll be here", this was already 30 minutes past the appointment time. He could have rescheduled but did not and by the time I got there, it was 1.5 hours past his office hours. We did have a good laugh about the incident afterwords. It was this level of commitment and care for a patient that resonated with me and this was early in the dr/patient relationship. Here was a doctor who cared, and in my long history with folks in a medical field, Dr Shetty is second to none. Among other things I had advanced periodontitis; which meant bone loss and tooth delay/loss. So the treatment is not straight forward and semi-complex. On the day of the surgery/implantation, it was definitely a marathon because of how much work was involved. But this was explained to me well in advance so I knew what I was expecting and walked into office very well prepared for the day. Except for breakfast! My jaws dropped when Dr Shetty's assistant (Michelle) offered her homemade sandwich to me because she knew I wasn't going to be eating anything all day. I was impressed and was touched by her generosity. The operating staff included Dr Shetty, Michelle, and a visiting dentist learning about implants. They knew the day would be long, and were in for a treat. But they were always calm and reassuring through and through. Both Dr Shetty and Michelle were very gentle and did their best to make sure I was comfortable and that was a priority for them. My mouth was a battleground for the other dentist, which made for some interesting hand gestures. :) Care shouldn't stop after the surgery, post care is extremely important because implants is just the first step. The post care was top notch, and I'm far from the problem free poster boy. My travel schedule went into high gear shortly after surgery where I'm home for about 2 weeks before I have to get back on an international plane again. Dr Shetty's office understood my schedule and because of who they are, made some adjustments to accomodate my crazy schedule. On one of my trips abroad, I discovered painfully one of the implants did not take. This does happen as was previously explained to me. Dr Shetty was quick to break out his keyboard and mouse, and quickly found an alternative site for the replacement and we were able to have it removed and replaced in short order. When you're in the hands of someone who cares, you really don't have to sweat a thing. Which was and is how I feel with Dr Shetty and the great staff at Dental Dimensions. I'm very appreciative of the fact I can eat normally now, because I LOVE food. And thanks to Dr Shetty and his staff, I can practice and enjoy my passion again! I am pretty sure I am not doing myself any favors by seeking competition to appointment times. I've visited numerous dental offices over the years as I had lived in various cities, and this office is by far the best one I've been to. The entire staff (doctors, dental assistants, and front desk) are incredibly kind, caring, and efficient. I've always felt a little nervous when walking into a dental office because I fear any new dental problems or pain I'd feel during a simple cleaning, but now I don't feel nervous at all after two fillings, a crown replacement, and cleanings at this office! The Dental Dimensions is a rising star in cosmetic and general dentistry. They're really a "one stop shop"! I wish I had discovered them long ago. I found them because I was having some extensive dental work done and I wanted multiple opinions. My original dentist is a great dentist and (as most of us do) I put my trust in them, but this was going to be a big (four implants) deal to me, and a life long investment. I sought out three more opinions based on patient reviews and their location to me. The reviews were the most important deciding factor to me. The expense was also a serious consideration so I guess the three really go hand in hand. My visit to The Dental Dimensions office was the third dentist I visited for an opinion and I knew right then that this was going to be my new dentist... for everything! (By the way, I drive 25 miles from home to their office when there are easily 50 dentists closer, but I want the best!) They have two offices, and I've been to both. Their staff are all very friendly and both offices are very clean and comfortable. I chose the West San Jose office because it's closest for me. A special thanks to their receptionist Nancy, who is incredibly warm and kind. Michelle is Dr. Deepak Shetty's dental assistant, she is very attentive and reassuring, plus she understands (gauze mouth garble) haha Dr. Deepak Shetty is incredibly skillful and experienced. Ordinarily I hate going to dentists, but Dr. Dee and Dr. Kavita have an awesome team, a gentle touch, and all the care which makes the experience really comfortable, while providing amazing care. Dr Kavita also looks after my kids teeth and has an amazing way with kids. I'm not quite sure how she manages to get them to sit in a dental chair for so long, when I can't get them to sit straight for even a couple of minutes. Dr. Shetty has the most amazing pair of hands that I have experienced. Let me begin by saying I'm a dentists dream come true. I have a terrible history of being in a dentists chair since my early childhood having gone through the terrible act of pulling out all my milk teeth since they wouldn't naturally fall out to 5 root canal treatments and numerous fillings. Every trip would mean a couple of sleepless nights before the appointment and whole body tensing and clenching in the dental office leading to migraine and body pain all this till I discovered Dental Dimensions. Dr. Shetty managed to inject me with anesthetic without me feeling even a tiny prick. So far I have had a tooth extracted, 6 fillings and a crown done and every experience has been a delight with absolutely no pain and discomfort. I don't spend time obsessing over the treatment and haven't spent a single sleepless night. Anyone who has had a bad experience with a dentist and has sworn off dental treatment (like me) should give Dental Dimensions one chance. My best dental experience ever. I first found this close-by dental office for my brother, who later told me about the great service he received. I then decided to give it a try myself and came in for a routine teeth cleaning. It could not went better. Nancy was very thoughtful during the appointment making and called me for a earlier appointment once it became available, which fits me better. Michelle (not sure if I get her name correct, maybe Marsha), the hygienist, did a thorough dental X-rays and also helped on the teeth cleaning in a very pleasant and comfortable manner. Dr. Shetty not only checked and cleaned my teeth carefully, but also addressed my questions in details. I was impressed by his way of explaining everything clearly without involving those dental terminology.
