She is 10 and is always extremely nervous. Today was the first time being to a dentist is over a year (yes I know that's a long time) since we have moved. The staff was extremely welcoming right when we came in. There was some issues with my insurance and they were all so helpful and quick to figuring it out. My daughter was nervous at first but did amazing. She felt very comfortable and immediately told me how much better that experience was than the last dentist we went to. The receptionist asked if my insurance had changed I said yes and then was given some paperwork to fill out. Information highlighted to fill out about my insurance. This would have been fine I guess but we were not seen for a half hour after our arrival? I feel this is connected to the redundancy of gathering, finding, transferring my insurance information I already submitted to help this along? We make this appointment so that my kids can go to school right after which is cruel sounding now that I've written it down but it's the time we can get. Why do anything ahead of time if it doesn't help or why be so repetitive?
