My pick up is a bit low but not that low. I was shocked and didn't know what to say when he told me that. I decided that was ridiculous and left. I was glad I did because I went around the block to a different shop that's right across the street from city hall, that has the exact same style of drive on ramps, they didn't hesitate to take on the repair and did it in 15 ish minutes for $50 out the door. If Joor was charging me $250 to rack it, I wonder what they would have charged for the weld job.

Thankfully Chris at Pinpoint was the 9th (and final) mechanic. Chris and George were both competent, kind, and communicative every step of the way. They treated me respectfully and Chris was dedicated to finding and fixing the problem properly - he even notified me that the ECU I had installed by a previous shop had likely been stripped from a junkyard vehicle (that shop had charged me full price and neglected to tell me it wasn't a new part). When all was said and done, I was charged very fairly for both the parts and labor. Thankfully I had some duct tape fasten it in place till I could find out who would be able to fix it. My Mechanic at Allans wrench suggested T.E. Motorsports and I'm so grateful to have found them. Jackie was able to set up an appointment for me to repair it quickly. Snug top is no longer in business but found the parts on ebay and got longer screws than the kit provided, at Home Depot. Her mechanic was able to easily fix it for me. I'm so grateful I can use my camper shell again on my old Toyota truck. They are the best. Thank you!

It came with a lifetime structural and paint warranty. This year (2026) the clearcoat began to fail and the red paint color was fading along the top. Valley Camper had since closed, and TE Motorsports is now the Snugtop dealer locally. To my pleasant surprise Jackie Ricardo, who sold me the camper originally, is now employed at TE still selling and servicing the same product line and likely helping with admin of the customizations TE does to other vehicles. Jackie willingly processed the warranty claim to Snugtop (now a part of the Leer Truck Accessories Group). Took a couple weeks, and Snugtop approved the warranty claim! She arranged a complete paint process with ACM Autobody and Paint also in Esco. That worked out very nicely all around. Thank you TE Motorsports and Jackie! Need a camper or repairs? All i know is to change my oil regularly and don't do anything stupid. ‍ My story begins with me checking my dipstick one day to make sure my oil wasn't low. It was. Like very low. I topped off my oil and made an appoint with the dealer who did something like place dye in my engine to locate if there was a leak. After bringing my truck back after ~100 miles it was confirmed that there was a leak. But not just one leak. Several very small leaks. Pretty much EVERY seal in my engine needed to be replaced (even the rear seal so the engine had to be completely pulled out). The dealer quoted me at $7k! I wasn't about to pay that much. I mean I'm ok with topping off my oil every couple weeks... but then I thought about how this vehicle is going to be with me for the rest of my life. It's a very rare 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200. You THINK you see them on the road but you're probably confusing it with a Sequoia. Land cruisers barely sold which is why they were discontinued and reintroduced as a much smaller, much less powerful suv. Long story short, I found MJM on yelp, and they quoted me at 4k. We got it fixed while we were on vacation to avoid rental car fees. When we got it back it was in like-new condition! Even my mpg improved! They used OEM seals and tested everything thoroughly. It's been 5 months and I haven't had any problems. I trust MJM and will refer anyone with engine issues to them.

The system was in bad shape and the parts list included front brake drums, new wheel cylinders, brake pads, master cylinder, etc... Long story short, $1600+ later I pick up the truck and drive home happy. This past weekend I finally had a chance to crawl around the truck. Zip ties holding the front right brake line in position at the top support and lower support location. Rigid line in same location is rubbing against front axle. Back right backing plate cover not installed. Rigid lines that were replaced in the rear poorly routed and not following the contours of the axle. Very unhappy at this point. Certainly makes me wonder... if such shotty workmanship is visible on the outside, what was done inside my brake system that I cannot see? 8FEB2021 ***UPDATE*** I contacted Hector at Driveline and made him aware of my concerns. He was extremely courteous and asked that I bring my vehicle in immediately. He provided a rental vehicle while his team conducted a complete inspection of the system and corrected issues.

When I brought it back, I was told the clips were "just worn" and that this "happens." I was already aware the clips weren't new, but they were not in bad shape and had never caused an issue before. No responsibility was taken. On the third vehicle, interior parts were broken during the visit. I wasn't informed at the time and only discovered it afterward. When I asked about it, I was told that "cars get old and brittle and things break." Again, no offer to repair or replace the damaged parts. I understand older vehicles can have age-related issues, but proper installation, communication, and accountability are important. After multiple issues and the same response each time, this will be the last time I bring any of my vehicles here, and I won't be recommending this shop.
