Love the Dillinger and go there often but there has been a slack in there service that's why I'm Not giving five stars. This is not a late establishment with about 8 to 10 tables inside along with bar seating and some tables on the sidewalk so not that huge. Today I brought friends there for lunch who had never been there so they had some questions about the menu and have a heavy accent. Our waitress seemed bothered to answer questions. We didn't wait long for our food nor to be seated let me make sure I state that . But not once were we asked if we needed refills or anything else to drink. On my salad I had oil and vinegar and the vinegar was given to me pretty much empty and then our waitress never came back to our table so I had my salad with oil. Food was all great but service can be much better. Like I said. We've never been to the Dillinger until today, but always admired the ambiance from the outside. Food and drinks were 10/10. The service was great. I loved the atmosphere at first! Great home town / burger joint/ bar that serves delicious food and ice cold brews- service better get on track if this pandemic goes the way it's going. We went around noon which is extremely busy. Go on in, sign your own party up because you're more than likely going to get lost in the bustle with wait staff buzzing around you. Off putting- but we get it. You're starting back up, tables are getting crazy and there's not enough staffing. BUT I will say, nothing beats a simple "hello! We see y'all! Pros: large, affordable drinks, great gangster-themed burgers, tasty apps, all homemade, and the staff was so personable, immediately like able, and made you feel comfortable as soon as you sat down. I enjoy Boulder City a lot. We have been spending a lot more time there as we moved to AZ but still need to go to Vegas for supplies. Boulder is a great place for us to grab meals in a place that not as overpriced and busy as the city. Anyway, food was good. Really enjoyed the Frickin Pickle while the artichoke appetizer was blah. Simply decor, clean, fun atmosphere and good music. The food came out hot and delicious. The menu had a good variety to choose from with fun names and many sides to pick. Went here today for dinner. We ate on the patio was a beautiful evening. We got the Smoked Gouda bites, they were very good. My husband had the Capone Burger, I had the 45 special asked for medium rare but no pink, although it was not medium rare still very flavorful. The fries and onion rings are also very good. Wait staff very attentive. Would have rated this place at a 4 but they charge you to use a credit card and if they said so on the menu it was not where myself or My husband noticed. We ventured out off of the strip and went to the Hoover Dam and wanted food afterwards. We found this gem simply by a Yelp search. The burgers were cooked perfectly. The onion rings were great. We hit up The Dillinger after our hike at The Arizona Hot Springs! According to our Fitbits, we had burnt almost 3000 calories so anything and everything sounded delicious to us. For my main I ordered the Palla burger which has a spicy jalapeño aioli, fried jalapeños and grilled onions, with jalapeño jack cheese! This was a massive let down and a happy surprise all in the same visit. We swung in at lunch time. The sidewalk outside is missing, so you have to negotiate between traffic cones to get in. Once inside the bartender told us we could sit at one of the high top tables or outside. If the jackhammer hadn't been running on the sidewalk the patio may have been a nice option.
