Genuinely a perk with the location, as it's right off the main highway amongst a few stores in a strip mall. The Pit Stop burger (on menu) that I had was great; in flavor and in presentation. We all enjoyed our meals. For my sons meal, whose 5, it was also great / he had chicken tenders and fries and they didn't make them too hot or burnt, which was awesome. Inside of the restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well kept. Where they really lacked was their service on the front patio. Talk About Small Town Foodie Stop.. I used to live here back in the 90's and the food was great then.. Still is.. So I have been going to the pit stop for a very long time about 25 years. It's pretty much a staple of Boulder city. But it seems like i the customer service is just not there anymore. When you get the pit burger special, you should be able to get one fry sauce, one ranch, but that is not the case anymore. You only get one and if you want another one or more sauces, they charge you $.35 or $.30 each it used to be if you asked for more sauces they would give you them without charging you now. I wonder if you eat inside they monitor how much sauce you use or are they only stingy for the takeout orders. To me charging for extra sauce is just bad business and I don't know if I wanna go to the pitstop anymore and give them my business read more

Decent sized food at a decent price. It's super casual and not touristy at all. Waitresses seemed to know many of the patrons. You can order online and pick up as a drive thru. Small place. TVs had sports and Fox News. It's a mix of tables and booths. Got seated quickly, got our food fast, and the food was decent. Honestly, I was quite shocked that everything went so smooth & the fact they had anything on the menu that I could eat. Love the old 1950's diner feel. Veggie burger exceeded my expectations! I can't tell if they make it or it's frozen & it doesn't matter because it was delicious. I added mushrooms, jalapeños, fresh avocado, & of course mustard & ketchup. French Fries were also incredible! They were thin & tasty! & the Soda Fountain had a great amount of carbonation! & lastly, the service was fantastic. So friendly, polite, & kind. But let's be honest: that went out the window the moment we parked. I ordered a double burger without an ounce of regret. It was so Dam good--and yes, that's a Hoover Dam pun. Gotta respect the geography. In fact, let's just call it like it is: These are the best Dam burgers anywhere near Hoover Dam. The place is usually busy, but the staff keeps things moving and friendly. I've never had a bad meal here, and I doubt I ever will. Just do me a favor--don't tell too many people about it. This was the perfect "pit stop" after touring Hoover Dam. To keep with the theme, I ordered the Dam Burger. When I saw the soft buns on the burger, I knew it was going to be good and I was not disappointed. I ate the entire burger! The zucchini fries were good as well. Puuuuuuuuhhhhleaaaase!!!!!!! This place is amazing. We came here not knowing what to expect, all I knew was that the food looked amazing online! We both got burgers, fries, and fried mushrooms. Everything really hit the spot. The burger was cooked perfect and all the veggies were fresh. Fries were crispy and so were the fried mushrooms! When you ask for a side of ranch, they give you a ranch bottle! They really do know what's up!!! Everyone was attentive and helpful. The prices are incredibly decent. You'll easily spend the same at any fast food joint, and the quality and quantity here is not even in the same ballpark. It's a small, seemingly family oriented spot, and I love it! As a 6 year regular customer and a resident of BC I just experienced a horrible experience at the Pit Stop. On Saturday I ordered for pick up. When I got home I noticed my receipt. I was overcharged $10.54. The next day I called the owner ( Mike ). He was very nice and fixed the problem with a, more than generous, comp. Today I went back and was overcharged once again $10.95. I tried to correct the mistake with the server and after some back and forth told to leave the premises ( you are no longer welcome as a customer.) The Mrs & I both ordered the combo dinners of fried cod & shrimp with fries & coleslaw. Their dipping sauces are great. But, I'm not a fan of the coleslaw. In my opinion, it's too dry. However, we enjoyed the shrimp! The interior pics of sports teams & players are pretty neat. I was mentally playing a game to see how many I could name. Service was fast, friendly & attentive. My husband recommended we stop here over the weekend after the Art in the Park for lunch. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. The pit stop is kind of small inside, but feels warm and homey. Our waitress was super attentive and very nice. From what I hear it's a locals favorite. Glad I had a chance to try it out. I had the Philly Cheese steak which was very tender with Caramelized onions on sourdough. The bread was super soft and fresh. Added a side of fries. My fries were fresh, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. You have to try their fry seasoning it's really good. If your in Boulder City try this place out. This place always hits the spot. It gives small diner vibes. Food is very reasonably priced. For a party of 5 it was $65 which is very affordable with how prices have gone up everywhere. The service was amazing. I called ahead and was seated with in a few mins even with the place packed. I usually get the Phillycheese but decided to try the fish sandwich this time and it was good. When I first moved to Boulder City I came here a lot but last year I sat and didn't even get a server to order a drink after 20 mins so ended up walking out. I gave it another try today and waited 15 without someone coming over to take our orders and get a drink. They have 4 servers and 8 tables with 2-3 people each. I have frequently bought menu items that are dinners, like salmon. It was all right, but not as good as a burger with fries. It has a baseball theme. The servers are very nice. When I've gone, I have often seen Boulder City mothers with their children having dinner, and so, it's a wholesome atmosphere (but in the past, I thought the servers dressed in revealing outfits and local older men seemed to flirt with the servers too much, so in that sense, the atmosphere was not entirely family oriented). read more

I went there today, Sunday, about noon. I think I beat the lunch crowd as there was plenty of open seating. The place is clear and the service was quick and courteous. I specifically went there to try their fish and chips, and they were pretty good! The batter to fish ratio wasn't too bad, the coating was crisp and the fish was moist and flaky. Upon request I got lemons and malt vinegar and it came with a generous amount of perfectly cooked fries. Their burgers are supposed to be good and I'll probably try them soon. read more
