Quintessential dive bar experience. It's always dark inside. The menu is pretty standard American dive bar food. My friends love the wings, but being vegan myself, there's not much for me on the menu besides fries, chips and salsa. But they have fun karaoke nights, good beer prices, and a friendly crowd. read more

Boy howdy this place feels like a blast from the past. As a local boy through and through it sure does bring a smile to my face to see classic places like this come back alive. The music is top notch, hell, you could sit here for hours just listening to the tunes alone but alas there's beer and plenty of it too. The drummer has the classics on tap and great bar tenders here can fix up whatever you fancy. One thing I really appreciate about this place is they have impossible burgers here for the folks like me who don't really eat meat. Also, they got a really nice pool table and ample seating. Excellent dive bar and I am lost as to why they weren't more crowded on a Friday night. The drinks and food are good value and their wings and fries are AWESOME. This used to be our favorite wings spot until their service and just food became awful. Decided to bring my friends from out of town here during the NFL playoffs and they refused to put any games on over VERY early season Phoenix Suns basketball. We decided to keep giving them our business and yet again, wings came back uncooked and soggy. This leaves me to our last experience, placed the order for 2 orders of wings and two sides, nothing complicated ahead of time for pickup, got there 20 minutes later when they said the food would be ready and we sat at the bar for ANOTHER HOUR as they ignored us and the cook made orders for everyone else after us. Why even place and order for pickup?! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, RUDE SERVERS, AND AWFUL SERVICE AND WEAK FOOD. It pains me to write this review but after 6 months of poor service and experiences I hope to share this with the people who are trying to decide where to eat. It used to be our favorite spot, now I will gladly tell others to avoid this spot and spend their money elsewhere. read more

I'm a fool for not trying the DD sooner. Was immediately greeted and given a menu. Whitney was nice and helpful. Seen an IG post about their wings and seen that they have a Tuesday burger special, which I couldn't resist. Perfectly cooked to order. Anyway, cheeseburger and tots out the door was $7.55, seriously. Next time I'm getting the wings. See you soon DD. Walking into this dive bar, I had low expectations. When we walked inside, the bar looks like it has recently been updated. We were greeted right away by someone behind the bar. When you sit at the bar, be sure not to sit directly in front of the grill bc it was a bit toasty during the hot summer! They had a variety of beers on tap and a decent looking food menu. I had read on another Yelper's review who said they made great margaritas. They were not wrong! We also ordered French fries and fried zucchini which were both tasty. The zucchini tasted like it had been a seasoned prior to frying and the ranch dressing was homemade. There was a super drunk and/or mentally ill person trying to close out at the bar when we arrived who was demanding his card back which had already been returned to him. Our bartender handled herself professionally and politely. Overall, we were happy with our visit! If I'm in this area of town again, I will definitely stop by the Dirty Drummer. read more

The dirty drummer is a nice little dive bar. Wings are huge and flavorful, which is a rare find these days. They have a great selection of cocktails, draft beers and bottles and even seltzers! This is the second time I've tried this place hoping that it had improved over the course of a year. Still I was ignored as a patron and was not well attended to. The bartender/waiter that was supposed to be waiting on us was found outside smoking on the patio when we left. Highly disappointed yet again. Last time the owner messaged me apologizing and stating that it was busy night and that's why we received such poor service. This time it was not busy. Their wings and their spicy tater tots are fantastic. Service is hit or miss. Our most recent visit; we had a fantastic server. The time before, the lack of service led to us taking a year and a half break from the establishment. I had their mezcal version of an old fashioned, and they filled it so full of cubes I wasn't sure if they actually put mezcal in. I was disappointed to be drinking a mixture of water and chocolate bitters instead of mezcal. read more
