As a VIP, medical, and pickup patient, I wanted to bring a recent experience to your attention because I genuinely believe it deserves your awareness. I have been a patient at this location for more than eight years. That kind of loyalty is earned, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I have continued choosing this dispensary over countless others because of the service and consistency I have received over the years. My interaction with Alfred fell well below the level of professionalism I expect from your brand. Rather than answering my questions respectfully, he was dismissive, condescending, and lacked basic customer etiquette. Instead of educating a customer, he made me feel as though I was asking foolish questions. No customer, especially one who has remained loyal to the same location for over eight years, should leave feeling belittled. As someone who regularly reviews businesses, I know exceptional customer service is what creates loyal customers and positive word of mouth. Poor customer service has the opposite effect. After this experience, I understand why this location has accumulated so many negative reviews centered around customer interactions. One employee can have a significant impact on a business's reputation. Alfred's communication style is undermining the customer experience and, in my opinion, diminishing the reputation of your brand one interaction at a time. I am sharing this privately because I believe owners deserve the opportunity to address concerns before loyal customers simply stop returning or post public reviews. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit it is intended. Coaching on professionalism, customer etiquette, respectful communication, active listening, and de escalation would greatly improve the experience for future customers. Look, I love this place(the people), But I'm tired of receiving old, turn to dust when touched, dry flower. Some jars even coming with no seal to preserve freshness. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and I'm now moving on due to this. I'm a quality guy and it seems I'm not getting quality. Management and employees here are absolutely amazing. Clean nice local dispensary. They don't have a lot on display so you have to use the tablet in the store select your products. It can be frustrating because when I see a product on line and go to the store they often end up not having it in stock. Staff are super friendly but doesn't always have a lot of knowledge about their products and usually only references their in store tablet. I am writing this through a haze of pain and a bitterness that tastes like medicine I can't keep down. This morning, I dragged what's left of my body to "The Dispensary" at 5347 South Decatur. I use the word "dragged" because that's what it is now. Every day is a war against my own failing flesh. I was 240 pounds once; now I'm a ghost of 105. Just standing up is a victory. Keeping food down is a fantasy. Keeping the painkillers in my stomach long enough for them to work is a prayer. So when I go to a dispensary, it isn't a casual trip. It is a lifeline. It is my version of a critical pharmacy visit, a desperate attempt to grasp at a few hours of lessened agony. The alternative is a level of suffering I don't have the words for. This was my third visit in 30 days. Each time, a fresh humiliation. Each time, I'm told my status "expired." I am literally expiring, and they are worried about a date on a card. But today... today broke something in me that the cancer hasn't yet reached. The woman at the counter looked right through me. People do that now. I am not a person to them; I am a skeleton with a voice, an inconvenience. I told her how sick I was, my voice probably a weak, trembling thing. And she treated me with pure contempt. She insisted I was "recreational." She told me to "Get Out." "Get Out." To a dying man who had used the last of his strength to come and beg for relief. She finally claimed, again, that my medical status had expired and I'd have to fill out the forms. Again. As if the act of holding a pen isn't a Herculean task for hands that shake from weakness and pain. A dispensary is supposed to be a place of solace. A small, bright spot in an endless, dark struggle. It's supposed to offer relief, a moment of peace. Not more pain. Not this gut-wrenching self-loathing, this feeling that even here, at the end of my life, I am nothing. That my suffering is an annoyance to be dismissed. They didn't just fail to help me today. They looked at a terminal patient and chose to add to the mountain of his pain. I am disgusted. I am defeated. And I am so, so tired. There is absolutely "NO VALUE" or "DEAL" that is worth being made to feel this way. read more

With so many strains out there, I never know what to get for friends visiting. Luckily I had another friend recommend this place and went with me to go pick up some goods since it was nearby her place. Ended up ordering a few pre-rolls and some stiizy pods for friends visiting for the weekend. The person who came out was really friendly! My friends wanted something that gave them the munchies cause they wanted to eat at the buffets and Christina, the lady who came out to talk to us, gave them some really good stuff. Told her to just pick some pre-rolls in that category. Ended up going to bacchanal at Caesar's and they could not stop eating! If you're ever checking out this place, ask for Christina at curbside! I'd heard good things from friends and decided to stop by while on vacation. Once inside you get your id checked at the front desk before entering the actual "green room". There were so many options! Their staff was able to help me find some tasty gummies from a reputable brand and I also tried a sativa pre-roll. Their team is very knowledgeable and can help you find a good option for your needs in addition to trying something new. The store was clean and everyone wore gloves when touching any product. I went into the dispensary today and asked for two 0.95 stiizy pods which were buy one get one free. Both of them were 30.00$ and I know this because I could see the price on their tablet. The cashier told me my total was 37.00$ I handed him 40.00$ and, he put it in his drawer. All the sudden when he went to hand me my bag he said actually the total was 47.00$ and made me give him another 10$. He gave me no receipt and I know exactly what he's doing. She came back and said full price, I said I wanted my points and she said did you place it? And I said I just told you to apply it, onlines doesnt ask. She comes back and tell me price and I said is that correct? She took my card from me inside to confirm and as she walked away I said its okay. She continued to go like a petty bitch and came back with screenshots showing me the discount. Placed a curbside order here, and was double-checking my order total when I noticed a $5 discrepancy. The sub-total on the order page reflected one amount and the sub-total on the email receipt reflected another. Going off of the order total presented on the dispensary's own page, it looked like my order should have been $5 less, so I brought this up with the manager when I arrived to pick up. The manager was cordial to begin with, but kept implying that I couldn't do basic addition and subtraction and was making up the screenshot evidence. I showed him how if you go based off the totals listed out on the order page, the order total should be lower by $5. And he showed me how if you added up the discounts, the order total would be correct. I might've been right, I might've been wrong. But my main issue here today was that the manager was pretty unfriendly, not customer-service oriented and only offered the $5 off because they couldn't verify where the $5 actually went. To everyone looking to place curbside/delivery orders here, MAKE SURE your order totals match up and if they don't, no need to complain because they won't give a fuck! Here, look at the attached receipts, use order of operations from math, and YOU tell me what my order total should be. I might continue to give them business just because they are the cheapest around for certain items, but I will definitely always be on the lookout for any more price "discrepancies". read more

I had been going The Dispensary for years and for a long time it was a great place to go. But over the last year or so things have gotten progressively worse and are now to the point where I feel the need to write this... Last week I questioned a policy and the general manager first tried to lie to me get me to go away quietly, then was condensing to me saying I should be grateful since they had just change the policy to make it more customer friendly. After I got upset with this treatment, I was then treated like I was a Karen. After this incident I complained and have not received a response after a weeks time, so here I am.... I submitted my complaint through The Dispensary's website, as well as the email given to me by the general manager last week and not response. I have included the email below so everyone can see what I wrote and what exactly took place. On top of being treated rudely by the GM, the website never works right and trying to find out what your total is if you bought any of the specials is a nightmare. This is not acceptable when you only accept cash. I have to have the right amount on hand and nobody can ever tell me the right amount. Find another dispensary unless you want to be treated like crap. read more
