an honest review about this place is that they act like they are in high school i will be honest and say i had a family member who had an altercation here back around super bowl that had nothing to do with me but them and i understand not wanting that person there but i was not part of the altercation so i went here again without them. I came back with a friend not thinking their was a problem i waited in line even got in with bouncer having no problem with me or my associate we bought drinks and tipped, we danced not even ten minutes later we are kicked out with the manger telling us he will have us arrested? i was not wasted or causing any issues later having a friend of the manger taking to me and my associate saying their was no real reason to kick out this night. They told us we were 86 but we were let in the bar and bought drinks??? make it make sense i was not told before hand i was 86 i understand about the altercation but if so then i shouldn't have been let into the bar and give them my business and to be told i should have u arrested is so extreme bc that happened months ago again i was not part of the altercation. what could've the cops have done that night i was not doing anything wrong if they felt so strongly about the altercation months ago okay but don't let me come in and buy drinks. the manger used his little position of power to make such a strong statement and i 100% believe there has been ppl who have cause problems before and have gotten back in its a college bar like be so serious. they definitely take themselves way to serous im no threat whatsoever im a regular person like what harm could've i cause at this establishment? at the end of the day it was no way to conduct business the manger could've talk to us like a real man and explained himself i could understand but he used his position of power the only power he has to be rude i don't tolerate. flashing his flashlight at us like if we were a nuisance to the establishment i would never conduct myself in that matter. completely uncalled for and might i add my associated was also there on super bowl and had nothing to do with the altercation as well and came recently was not kicked out but this night we were??? again if it was such a big deal we should have not been let in and spent money. my main issue is if we were 86 don't let us in point blank instead they did and made us look like idiots being kicked out such a disgusting way to handle business stand on it if u really feel some type of way from the beginning. Again i do understand they felt some way about the altercation but it had nothing to do with me whatsoever if they felt still i should be 86 then don't let me in its poor way to handle any situation to made to look like a fool is a way to make them feel like men is none-sense this is their peak for all of them especially the manger like what could a regular girl do to you? i felt the situation was handle so incorrectly bc if the staff felt like we shouldn't have been in there why was i let in? obviously the staff didn't care as such as that lil boy manger like pick a struggle please. this is all just my opinion from my pov i can owe up to my mistake and others but could they the answer is no. read more

First time here and an absolute blast, long line to get in but moved real fast, also a cover charge but it was worth it. Tons of people, places to sit if you're lucky. Good music, good drinks, friendly staff. Bathroom line was long and slow, not many stalls, outside seating and smoking if needed. Lots of parking in the area. This establishment is managed very poorly. My husband and I walked in last night for one last drink after a long football Sunday and when we walked in there seemed to be a fight going on; therefore my husband and I didn't get a bartenders attention for awhile. While waiting, the manager was seen yelling and being out of line and very intoxicated, screaming and slamming his drink on the bar top then proceeds to scream that he has the best bar in Orange County and "F" every bar that is managed by a woman; it was very aggressive strange behavior. We normally don't come to here often but this was a very uninviting scene to walk into. My husband insisted on waiting to see if we could still try and get a drink but I was uncomfortable with how the guy was acting so we left. Won't be coming back to a bar that has someone who is a misogynist managing it. read more

Shortly after the rest of the group joined us, a random man started recording us while walking by, it was deliberately meant to be secretly, but we caught it and called him out. He said he was "a yelper" so if you're on here yelping like you supposedly said despite being weird and creepy about it and backtracking like crazy once caught, I hope you learn better than that. Our server was Rachel. She was very accommodating and handled our party of 11 very well. She refilled our beverages, and provided anything she may have missed once asked for. Where other places I frequent are a dollar a game. We played 12 games for 10 bucks. Two beers was around 10-11 bucks. Ive also heard they serve food here on occasion, and they have awesome taco Tuesday's, I will be back to try. These types of places are fun when they're not crowded. This place wasn't crowded at all. By the time we left quite a few people started coming in. They also have a digital jukebox...which you get 12 credits for 5 bucks. First time visiting and it was early on a Friday. Reasonably priced beer, and a fairly good selection on tap but not a lot of darks, ales, or craft offerings. It's a nice location and definitely CLEAN. I would say that's the biggest pro -- it's very clean for a bar. The staff was actively wiping down tables even if nobody had been seated there. The floor was clean as was the bathroom. My husband reported fun barrel urinals as well. (Just something quirky). The music was not our thing and was too loud so we one-beered it and left. Came to District Lounge with my coworker for their Taco Tuesday! It's located at Orange Circle in Downtown Santa Ana. There's a parking structure right around the corner with free parking for the first 3 hours. We got margaritas for $8, Mexican candy shots for $6, tacos for $1.50, and chips and salsa for $1.50. Very affordable prices during their happy hours! The food was pretty good and service was great. Their strawberry margarita was bomb. A nice place for some drinks and tacos! read more
