YALL!!! I do not have a dog, but this is the place to go love on dogs and also a great place to meet your friends with dogs!! The Jindo sandwich was amazing. The bartenders were all so super sweet and gracious as we asked 20 questions. Lol This is a must place you do not have to go into the dark park or if your dog hasn't been neutered yet you can still sit at the bar in the outside space..

The Dog House is such a great spot! One of my dogs are on the shy side, but even she felt comfortable and happy here while watching everything for the comfort of my lap! The space is super clean and thoughtfully laid out -- plenty of room for pups to explore at their own pace while the humans kick back and relax. The drinks are top-tier (seriously, some of the best craft cocktails I've had in the city), and the vibe is just perfect -- chill, friendly, and full of good energy. They host comedy nights and other fun events that make it more than just a dog park; it's a real community hangout. I also love that it's woman- and minority-owned. You can feel the pride and heart that went into creating this space. Whether your dog is the social butterfly or more of a wallflower, The Dog House is a must-visit in New Orleans.

The Dog House is such a cute little space to bring your dog for socialization AND get delicious cocktails. I appreciate all the safety measures they have too (vaccine check, double gated entry).

    Dogs at the bar.

Good food. Service was outstanding. They had dogs to play with and that impressed my daughter.

Ask the Community - The Dog House

Are reservations needed for first time visitors to try out to see if it's a fit for the fur babies? Also, is this a diverse establishment?

Every dog goes through a membership process to ensure their vet records are up to date for the safety of all members- so not really a reservation but they do have to review it (memberships can just be day passes too, not a long term commitment).…

For drinks, I had a non-alcoholic Stella, and my husband went with the bartender's dealer's choice non-alcoholic cocktail--it was so creative and honestly one of the best NA cocktails we've had. For our entrées, we ordered The Husky Platter, the Beef Wellington, and a 5 oz Petite Filet (because we couldn't decide!). Every single dish was seasoned perfectly, cooked exactly as ordered, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate that leaves it. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made Nick's birthday dinner feel extra special without being overbearing. One last tip: don't leave without checking out the family restroom tucked away behind the fireplace room! It's such a fun little surprise and adds to the unique charm of the restaurant. If you're looking for an elevated dining experience with incredible food, thoughtful non-alcoholic drink options, and fantastic service, The Husky is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

I was by myself so I sat at the bar, was immediately greeted by bar staff and given a glass of water and a menu. I decided to try the Lilac lover which is a gin-based drink. It was so good I eventually ordered a second one. I wasn't really hungry, was there just for vibes and a nice drink before I started my Saturday evening but I did decide to try their lamb lollipops appetizer. They were tasty but I wish they weren't breaded. This place has a great vibe for a girl's night, date, or group get togethers. Very pretty ambiance and great service. Everyone around me seemed to be pleased with their selections. I can't wait to go back and try for dinner.

We often use this as a stopping place to use the bathroom and figure out where we are going next. I like that they advertise they have plenty of bathrooms as there is nothing I hate more than a large brewery with one bathroom. We found this to be walking distance from our more tourist area hotel, but others may feel it is not, although I do believe its close to a bus line. This place has a nice vibe and friendly service. We visited pretty close to opening and it was not crowded. It looked like there was a nice outdoor seating area as well, but after the walk we were happy to be inside where it was cooler. I also appreciate being able to charge my phone while I drink my beer. I was a little sad that it was not open at the same time as the bagel place next door as I really wanted to check that out as well. They do acknowledge their focus is not food, but sounds like they have food trucks at times. Unfortunately I can't recall what beers we tried, but I am sure they were delicious.

When you arrive, you place your starting drink and food orders. We arrived early enough to choose any seating. Tables are well distanced apart. Masks are required to enter. We chose their covered seating area..it included a nice tv and a couple of cooling units..huge plus! This is the only place I have been to so far that offers Voodoo beer by Tin Roof so I was in love already. They have a refreshing menu..not all typical bar food. So I saw they had Tuna Tartar..first thought was..sh*t should I order raw fish at a bar??!! The waitress highly recommended it so wht the hell..it was fantastic!! We also tried the shrimp remolaude which was tasty as well. This is such a nice space that I am very much looking forward to returning.

A small bar, and a back performance room with a space for the performer. The back room fits perhaps 12-15 people. I've used the descriptors of little, small, cozy, and let's throw in the word intimate. The bartender is also the emcee, and made introductions and gave some info. Mia Borders was super. Her songs are powerful, and great life stories. There is just enough amplification to highlight vocals, and seems perfect for the room. Not a great selection of liquors, but it's "enough". They also have specialty drinks, although they were out of a couple of items when I was there. I REALLY enjoyed Mia's show, and this little "Sidebar" is pretty cool.
