Every single dish was seasoned perfectly, cooked exactly as ordered, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate that leaves it. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made Nick's birthday dinner feel extra special without being overbearing. One last tip: don't leave without checking out the family restroom tucked away behind the fireplace room! It's such a fun little surprise and adds to the unique charm of the restaurant. We visited pretty close to opening and it was not crowded. It looked like there was a nice outdoor seating area as well, but after the walk we were happy to be inside where it was cooler. I also appreciate being able to charge my phone while I drink my beer. I was a little sad that it was not open at the same time as the bagel place next door as I really wanted to check that out as well. They do acknowledge their focus is not food, but sounds like they have food trucks at times. Unfortunately I can't recall what beers we tried, but I am sure they were delicious.

A small bar, and a back performance room with a space for the performer. The back room fits perhaps 12-15 people. I've used the descriptors of little, small, cozy, and let's throw in the word intimate. The bartender is also the emcee, and made introductions and gave some info. Mia Borders was super. Her songs are powerful, and great life stories. There is just enough amplification to highlight vocals, and seems perfect for the room. Not a great selection of liquors, but it's "enough". They also have specialty drinks, although they were out of a couple of items when I was there. I REALLY enjoyed Mia's show, and this little "Sidebar" is pretty cool.
