Once I started to really look at his program I was able to really see his program for what it is. I've seen him not feed people's dogs for days, leave them in their kennels (crying & barking) for 10 hrs at a time. Ive heard him talk about clients in such a disrespectful way. I've seen him be cruel and abusive towards dogs that were left in his care for training. He told me that results is all that matters. I would never let him train anything of mine again.

The puppy class is a great start to socialize your pup with other dogs and new people in a safe and controlled setting. I mean, c'mon, that sort of patience in itself deserves an extra star! :) While I was away, Alexis came in for her scheduled visit and, upon conclusion, provided me with an EXTENSIVE email report about my pet (food eaten, bathrooms taken, and general mood). I even got a picture of Cleo, proving that she was alive and well...and also very happy to have had the visit! :) It should also be noted that due to my kitty being sick the night before (as mentioned in the report above), Alexis offered to stop by my place to check on her AGAIN in the a.m., just hours before I was due to arrive home. This way, my mind would totally be at ease during my travels back home. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! :) Upon arriving home, I noticed that EVERYTHING was in order. I noticed that Cleo's used food dish had even been replaced with a clean one and, the used one was thoroughly cleaned and put into the dish rack! :) This was AWESOME! ZERO clean-up had to be done on my part! I arrived home and had nothing to do except love on my kitty that I had missed while I was away! Josh came over and would carry him in and out of our three story brownstone just so Cooper could get outside to use the bathroom and get some fresh air. We will forever be grateful for him. We recently adopted a puppy and needed a dog walking service again. Home treat home was my first go to. Since Josh is now in Denver we have had the pleasure of getting to know Chloë, the Chicago manager who also walks our dog Chance. Chance is a finicky dog and he can at times be a crazzzy puppy. Chloe and Chances bond has grown so much and we couldn't be happier with her including her overnight stays helping us watch Chance when he can't come with us! One weekend, I scheduled Josh to dog-sit for my dog at my home overnight when I was out of town. This way, my dog would remain in the comfort of her home and no transport needed. I arrived home approximately an hour earlier than I had originally planned to. Imagine my surprise when I walked into my apartment to find, along with my greyhound - a tiny puppy that had to be less than a few months old. Josh was nowhere to be found. The puppy had free reign of my apartment, and was taking advantage of that by playing with (and tearing up) my dog's toys, and chasing around my dog, biting her tail and legs as she went. I was so completely flabbergasted and shocked by the whole situation that it took me a while to process what I was actually seeing. Josh had of course, never mentioned anything to me about another dog being there, sitting for another dog, asking permission etc. I called Josh, while the puppy barked incessantly in my ear. Josh was off walking other dogs and said he'd be back soon. He offered no explanation to the other dog. I still could not believe what was happening at the time. Josh's explanation later was that he was sitting this puppy and due to car trouble asked the owner to bring the dog to my apartment. He arrived back at my apartment 15 minutes later, and quickly made his way out of my apartment offering little to me as far as an explanation or an apology and of course, whisked the puppy off with him. As days went by, so many questions entered into my mind. How long was this puppy alone in my apartment with my dog? Was the puppy up to date on shots (this was mid Kennel Cough outbreak)? What if my greyhound (former racer, prey driven) had hurt this puppy? Was the puppy's owner in my home, uninvited? Trust is an important thing to have with a dog walker. Josh made a very large error in judgment and lost mine. I am now happily using another Chicago dog walking company that has earned my trust, and my business.
