I tried out this doggy self-wash with my smaller golden doodle, and honestly, it was just okay. You're given a strict 30-minute time limit to wash, dry, and brush your dog, which felt really rushed. I barely finished in time with my doodle, so I can't imagine trying to do a full bath and detangle session on a larger breed like my giant schnauzer. This place might work for smaller dogs or a quick rinse if your big dog gets muddy. But if you're planning a full wash and dry for a large dog, this is not the place. Also, everything has to be done in the same tub, which I wasn't a fan of. The tub is lower than other spots, so my back was definitely feeling it by the end. I wish they had small small grooming table to dry/brush them. Another thing to keep in mind, your dog needs to be pretty cooperative. If they're squirmy or not used to being bathed, you'll end up wasting a good chunk of that tight 30-minute window just trying to get them to stay still. On the plus side, the place is clean, and they do provide everything you need. I'm not sure if they'll give you extra supplies for a larger dog, but if I'd brought my giant schnauzer, I definitely would have needed more shampoo. Called ahead to see if they were busy as my dog is a little scared in big crowds.. my sister and I both brought our larger dogs (90+ lbs) the tubs were a good size and the products they have there are amazing. What a great selection! I bring my own shampoo to wash her since she uses a specific brand due to allergies.. I was happy to see they use the blueberry facial i absolutely loved the smell and it didn't irritate my girl.. honestly the only down side is the dryers.. they only had one wide nozzle and it did not completely dry her after so much time we just gave up.. thankfully I had her hempz spray was able to mask the wet dog smell in my car.. my sisters dog is double coat and he was still soaking wet so if you have a double coat dog expect to pay $27 and leave with a wet dog.. you dry them in the same wet tub too the drainage was not the best so I used the only towel provided to avoid her from getting her feet soaked.. it would be better if they had a designated drying station separate from the tub.. read more

I came in today with my goldendoodle, called before I came to find out when the last wash was. I was told last wash was at 4:30pm. I came in at 4:30pm on the dot, and as soon as Hailey one of the workers saw me and my dog, she sighed and looked at her watch and kept looking at it, then said well it's 4:31pm now and we stop taking dogs BEFORE 4:30pm, so next time get here BEFORE 4:30pm. I totally understand people want to go home, and if there wasn't a time limit of 30 minutes per wash and someone was going to be there past closing at 5pm then I could understand her need to say something with an attitude. That wasn't the case. If she wanted to politely say, we actually try and ask people to get here way before 4:30pm, understandable. Then I would say, probably change your cutoff time to 4:20pm then. People don't need to go to a business and get an attitude. Then I told Hailey I called before I came to make sure I would make the cutoff and I was told 4;30pm, then the other girl that was there said I said BEFORE 4:30pm which was a lie, she said 4:30pm. I'm not going to argue with a place I come to give my business to. Their recording says 4:30pm as well, not before 4:30pm. If they want to change that policy, they should change the time on their recording and the time they tell people the cut off is. At any rate, Hailey proceeded to argue with me as she was taking my card and didn't like what I was saying so then proceeded to tell me to just come back tomorrow. Ummmmm, no thank you. A place that operates this way shouldn't get my business or anyone else's. I get maybe she was tired and hungry and wanted to go home but the place is open until 5pm. Change the hours if no one wants to be there past 5pm, and control your attitude with customers that come to do business there and don't need a lecture because the clock turned to 4:31pm as you were looking at your watch. read more

We usually come here on the weekends and it has been the best experience ever. We came on a Tuesday and a younger lady was on the counter. We came in and she was rude telling us we needed to wait for her to clean a tub which we understood. It's a Tuesday so a lot of people are bringing in their bigger dogs. At the 20 minute mark of us washing our dog, she came and told us that our time was about to run out and we needed to tidy things up. Less than 5 minutes later she came over and told us that our time was up and she "understood that we needed to fully dry our dog" but that we needed to leave for her to clean up right away. I totally would've understood her kicking us off if there were people waiting or if we had actually gone past our time but neither were the case. There were other tubs open too so we were both shocked we had to leave with a half dried dog. Moral of the story, only come in during the weekend or you'll have an awful experience with their service and will leave with a wet dog. read more

I've brought my dogs here multiple times and have always had a great experience. I recently brought in my two medium sized poodles and was told to put them in the same tub. The younger lady working that day came and told me they have a strict 30 minute time limit per dog and already had given me a 10 minute grace period and that I needed to hurry up and finish up. I had one dryer available to me for both dogs and even with my partner and I washing, brushing, and drying from the moment we got in, my dogs were half dry. Not even 5 minutes after that she came again and told me I needed to be done. I would definitely understand if there were people waiting for a tub, but there were multiple tubs available with no one else waiting. Extremely poor customer service and lack of info about self wash on website. Our senior Saint Bernard, Chloe, has pretty bad arthritis and needs a ramp or step so that we can assist her into the tub. Many places require you to lift them into the tub, so we were excited to find this option. The hours here are short so we had to take off work early to get there before 5pm. We arrived at 4:35 and as we walked up saw on the door they don't accept any self washes after 4:30. We walked in asking if there was any possible way they could make an exception, since it was just 5 mins after. We said we could go as quickly as possible and explained it would really help us out as our dog is a senior who takes a lot of work to get her in and out the car and also that we had no idea last call was at 4:30pm. (Their website doesn't state it anywhere and we had already rushed from 30 mins away to get there before 5pm). The employee just kind of stared at us with little explanation for why they couldn't make an exception. All she said was that they just need time to wash the tubs for the next morning. It truly felt like it was just an inconvenience based on her response. Even if there was a strict policy she couldn't bend around to make an exception for us, she had absolutely no compassion or customer care for our situation. Her solution was to offer us to just come the next morning at 8am? Pretty ridiculous hours considering most people work during their whole business day and pretty pathetic customer service for a small local business. read more
