Stayed in the Myrick suite for 2 nights to attend a wedding down the road in the Old Gray Barn. Originally built in 1796, this Inn and bed and breakfast was in immaculate condition, beautiful with an engaging and friendly staff. Our suite was huge with a fireplace, separate master bedroom, and a bathroom with shower stall plus tub with jets. Mattress was thick, plush and dream like. The TV's had multiple input links and choices of Pluto, DirectTV, Netflix, etc. Free Coffee was available 24/7 with a Keurig machine in public area. The restaurant and bar provided daily 5 star breakfast, we hope to dine for dinner in the future. This Inn was the perfect choice to stay for the weekend and only 10 minutes from downtown Manchester Vermont. We would stay here again.

Scoring an inn deal on groupon, we really didn't know what to expect. When we arrived we love the feel and look of the inn and the small town it is located. Hotel staff was excellent and we were shown right to our room. Cozy but not too small of rooms, perfect for those who are out and about during their stay. Hotel got very warm at night but that was very fixable by cracking a window. Breakfast is included in room rate and exceeded expectations. Very delicious and filling. Not much happening around Dorset but we had a blast exploring most of the state! We would definitely visit again.

The hostess (Cindy) was incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. It was like calling a family member to let them know when you were coming to visit. Once we arrived, the property was absolutely stunning. The view of the mountains, the landscaping of the grounds and the outdoor amenities made this place a hidden gem. The innkeepers provided us with supplies to make a fire outside in the well appointed fire pit. It was surrounded by Adirondack chairs, tree stump seats and a large and well constructed pit with plenty of firewood. Both Bob and Cindy (the innkeepers) came out to the fireplace that first night and asked I they could join me. They offered me a local craft beer favorite of theirs and we shot the bull for a good while. GREAT folks and you can tell they bust their behinds going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The room was immaculate. It smelled freshly cleaned when we entered, it looked incredibly clean and was well stocked with teas and coffees as well as what appeared to be local hand soaps. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would! I will be a repeat customer for the foreseeable future visits just to have this hospitality and quaint accommodations again!

Often, inns can fee run down, but not this one. The walls, carpet and floors in our room were in great shape, there were plenty of places to charge our devices, and space was not an issue. When we arrived, the female owner asked for my credit card to which I replied, "I've already paid in full." She told me it was just a hold. Three days later 196.00 was charged to my credit card AFTER I paid 213.00 for the room. When I called, the male owner was combative and told me he had the right to charge me (without my knowledge). He then hung up on me and blocked my number. If I was going to pay 400.00 for a hotel room, it would not be at an out of date motel with a sorry excuse for a continental breakfast. If you just need a place to sleep after you're away most of the day hiking, shopping around etc, this is just fine and felt safe. It has good outside lighting when you drive up. We did have to leave 1 day early due to a big quick-onset snowstorm that would have been really unsafe to drive back through for hours if we stayed, and are waiting to hear back about a refund for that last night. We were told by the front desk the manager wasn't available at all the day we needed to leave, and we did leave by checkout time. We provided all our contact information and also had the third party booking agent also reach out to the manager. We are waiting for a response from the manager and I have also left a voicemail since we left. I will update the review accordingly if I'm able. Thanks. Update: We did contact Expedia and you and they also chatted with your motel directly on the phone; your motel denied the refund, not Expedia and it's important that's clear here. Either way, overall we did like the motel and the area. Thanks!
