This place rocks! First of all, a family owned business will always have my business; especially when they have service like the dough shoppe. I found this place on yelp, as i find everything else in life, and had to go! I was in Green Bay for the Packers game and had some time to kill throughout the week so this place was the first on my to do list. As soon as I walked in i was greeted by the only employee there at the time who was also in the middle of helping a couple (that's customer service). The menu was way easy to understand, very simple and straight forward. When it was our time to order we were told we each could try up to three samples and we took that opportunity (you would too and you know it). They all tasted pretty much the same which makes since because i assume they all have the same base dough. We decided on three flavors, chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia, and Oreo. All three good on their own but my fave was the white chocolate. The best part, i was able to travel and eat this over the next few days because its not ice cream and doesn't melt! ( i did refrigerate it in between sittings!) I also purchased pup cookie dough balls, HUGEEEEEEE HIT with my pups! If i lived here i would 100% continue to come back and you can guarantee when I'm back in Green Bay I will return. This is a great winter dessert location. Especially when you know that Ice cream or Frozen yogurt doesn't seem right when it's-10 outside. You can sample up to three different flavors and they have all your favorite cookie flavors. Chocolate chip, monster, peanut butter, brownie, just to name a few. After lunch, my family decided to check out The Dough Shoppe. I was intrigued by the idea because usually you're told as kid, DO NOT EAT THE COOKIE DOUGH! Lol. The shop is cute with large wooden tables and black & white decor and colored walls. We were greeted and was informed that we could pick up to 3 flavors to try and was also told what the monthly flavor is, Lemon Cheesecake. She also explained the ingredients used (like pasteurized eggs) in the cookie dough in order for them to be edible and safe. And the best part about the cookie dough,if you don't finish it, it'll last in your fridge for up to 2 weeks or pop it in the oven and make cookies!!! The menu is small and simple. There are about 8 flavors to choose from plus the monthly flavor. They do offer gluten free & vegan in 2 flavors for an up charge. As for prices, a scoop will cost you $3.50, 2 scoops $4.75, and 3 scoops $6.00. Or you could pick up some dough to go! After we all had our samples and probably drove the kind lady insane, lol. we all made our final picks! My nephews picked Chocolate Chip & Snickerdoodle. They loved it! My BF and I shared the monthly flavor Lemon Cheesecake and The White Chocolate Macadamia Nut. The monthly flavor is bomb dot com, lol. The flavors are subtle with a good balance of lemon to cheesecake. I love that it didn't have an artificial lemon flavor. MUST TRY! Before it's gone. The White Chocolate Macadamia is exactly how I like it. Chunks of white chocolate and Macadamia nut, yum! If you're a first timer, this is definitely something to try especially if you were always told NO! Don't eat the cookie dough as a kid, this will satisfy that cookie dough cravings. The concept is great, but it just didn't come together quite right. It's pretty much every person's dream: getting to eat cookie dough without having someone yell at you telling you you're going to get sick. It's a small shop, and it's tucked away in a small strip mall where the other stores are non-food stores. It's not a place that anyone would really stumble upon, you'd have to know it's there and go looking for it. There's a little bit of seating, some small tables and some longer benches. They do have complimentary water, which seems like a small thing but I like when places do that. They have a small offering of flavors (I think about 8), and then a flavor of the month. You can get a dish with 1, 2, or 3 scoops, and can mix and match flavors. They also have a cooler with prepackaged containers you can take home. The flavor was just, ok, and that's the main reason for the 3 stars. The texture was a little off (I know they couldn't make it just like raw cookie dough for health reasons, but I was hoping it'd be a bit closer). There also just wasn't a lot of flavor in either one I got (Snickerdoodle or Red Velvet White Chocolate). The prices also seemed kind of high for what you get. Overall, it just fell short of my expectations. If I was realllllllly craving cookie dough, I might come here, but if I was looking for a sweet treat I'd probably go elsewhere that's a bit more satisfying. read more

We discovered this hidden gem yesterday and coincidentally they had been celebrating their 2 year anniversary, so they had some nice specials going on. You can sample up to 3 different flavors, and they have a decent selection. They also had some gluten free options as well. During the non-snow months, they also have a trailer they go to different events to also sell their cookie dough. The pricing is a little high for what you get. But there is potential here. Could do cooked cookie shells to then put the cookie dough in. Save money on a little less packaging and customer eats everything. With the size of the space, how about selling complementary items to cookie dough. Also, the exterior could use better/bigger signs. Being in a small strip mall marketing needs to be the beacon. The Dough Shoppe is a unique hidden gem to Green Bay. Name me another place that serves only cookie dough...yeah I can't think of one either. This is a neat little shop, not far from the Bay Park Square mall. It's not obvious to find, but easy to get too. There are several choices of cookie dough. A plus is you can choose up to three small samples to try. I'm glad no one else was there because I was pretty indecisive. I wouldn't want to go here if it was busy and everyone would be trying samples first. I did go with the peanut butters lover cookie dough, which is perfect if you're a Reese's pieces fan. A heads up. I single scoop costs a little over $3 and you have to spend at least $5 to use a credit card...might as well get two scoops, or buy for a friend. The reason for the three stars is because cookie dough is really not my thing. It was good, but I've never had a craving for it. In the end it's a variation of getting ice cream. I first heard about this place a few weeks ago and I have been here at least 10 times since hearing about it. The service is always amazing and walking in it is very aesthetic and clean. I love the gluten free cookie dough. It's amazing and u can't tell it's gluten free. The take home dough makes better cookies than I have ever been able to make on my own. Giving me samples helps me make a decision! Every day is a new day and I am the type of person who likes to mix it up. I was also happy to be able to get a coffee last time I was there, while I sat and did some work! The non GF is even more amazing, I have been in to try all the flavors and they are all awesome! (And I have tried dough at other Shoppes in other cities - once even tossed it out the window it was so bad ).
