I put off having my dryer vent cleaned, for YEARS! I was afraid the cost was going to be out of my budget but I have had the dryer vent hose pulled from the wall with a pantyhose Stocking to catch the lint and blowing in the house, enough was enough ( insane how long I did that!) . This service was EXCELLENT! Most companies charge $99 - $150 and then have additional fees on top of that. Trust me, I called around. But this company is straight forward, transparent, and was the only one that I could find that was reasonably priced. I was told it would be a flat fee of $59.99 and that was exactly what I was charged. Not a penny more! He was in and out of there in about 15 mins of my 1 story property. His customer service was fantastic, he also used SMS to confirm the appointment and Square to take my payment. Companies that use technology like that always get a few extra points from me. I actually called to get a 2nd opinion after reading Yelp reviews for another company I had used. I started to worry I was getting the shaft. Dryer was taking over two-hours to dry a single load of clothes. Adam (owner) called back after I left him a message, and we made an appointment for a dryer vent cleaning for the following afternoon. He has a nifty gizmo that brushes and vacuums out accumulated lint from the connection at the back of the dryer right through the vent on the roof. 1st load after the cleaning? Dried in 47-minutes. Had my vent cleaned today in our new (to us) house we just purchased. We bought brand new appliances, including the dryer, which was giving us a poor airflow warning in addition to barely drying the clothes.
