Let me start out that I don't ever need a hat! But I do love hats and this is a place to get a hat…read morenot just any hat a real live cowboy hat. I have probably 15 cowboy hats and I just got one more here I'm going to go back and sport for a 30 X felt hat. I felt like I walked in on a legend, and Dave's Crocet was going to walk in at anytime. I love my new hat so much!!!!

I stopped by Paris Hatters recently to look for a Stetson Open Road in Silverbelly. After standing…read morein the store for a few minutes without being acknowledged, I mentioned up front that I likely needed a larger size and asked if they had any in stock. I was told they didn't have any and wouldn't for several months. I then asked if I could be measured to at least get a sense of my size for future reference, but was told they don't measure because "all hats are different." I also asked about the possibility of ordering one, but received the same response that nothing would be available for months. I understand that inventory can be limited, especially for popular styles and larger sizes. That part didn't bother me. What was surprising was the lack of engagement--no sizing, no discussion of fit, and no guidance on ordering or alternatives. Given Paris Hatters' long-standing reputation in San Antonio, I was expecting a more hands-on and informative experience. This felt more like a quick dismissal than a customer interaction. I may try again another time, but this visit didn't reflect the level of service I had heard so much about.

Thankfully, Mariam noticed and provided amazing help. She helped me go through the different material, colors, and sizes. The owner has also been wonderful and gave us a beautiful complimentary hat branding with feathers! They are so patient as I went through all the different options. This is truly a rare business that cares for their customers. Thank you guys for an amazing experience.

Where do I even begin? Let's set the scene. My wife and I, two blissfully unaware souls from…read moreSouthern California, were in town for a wedding. The day before the event, I looked in the mirror and was confronted by a terrifying reality: my hair had apparently decided to stage a hostile takeover of my entire head, and I was in the throes of a full-blown, DEFCON 1 hat-mergency. We walked into your store, I with the quiet desperation of a man who knows he's one bad hair day away from ending up in the background of wedding photos for eternity, looking like a startled shrub. The moment we crossed the threshold, we were greeted by Estrella and Miriam. I must say, they weren't just sales associates; they were first responders at the scene of a fashion felony. They saw the panic in my eyes, exchanged a knowing glance, and sprang into action. My wife, who is the loving but firm CEO of my wardrobe, immediately joined their ranks. Suddenly, I was the subject of a friendly but firm style intervention, a council of taste consisting of my wife and these two retail Jedi. The mission: find The Hat. Not just a hat, but THE hat. The kind of hat that makes you want to solve a mystery or expertly grill a steak. After what I can only describe as a masterclass in headwear, they found it. The perfect one. I swear I heard a choir of angels. But oh, it didn't stop there. With the hat problem solved, Miriam and Estrella looked at my shirt and then back at the glorious new hat. A silent, mutual agreement passed between them: "This hat deserves better." Before I knew it, I was being handed an array of fantastic shirts. I went from being a man on a simple mission to a willing participant in my own style evolution. My wife was thrilled, I was outnumbered, and my wardrobe has never been happier. So, a massive, heartfelt thank you to the dynamic duo of Estrella and Miriam. You didn't just sell me a hat and some shirts; you equipped me for greatness. You saved me from myself, ensured my survival at the wedding, and sent me home a much more dapper man. My wallet is a tad lighter, but my confidence is sky-high. You ladies are absolute legends! (I'm Bald by the way)
