And the spicy chili flake sauce was too good to pass on. It wasn't too spicy. The service was fantastic and kind. The waitress that served us was very kind and didn't disturb us when we were busy eating. The ambiance was very cozy and relaxing. It wasn't very loud when we were served, making conversations easier to make. And the warm lighting gave us good vibes. All in all, an amazing first time trying out the restaurant that left a very good impression on us.

Here they are brewing the beer themselves - there's no "middle man" to pay, and I was charged $11.00 last time for a 10 ounce pour ! The poor value caused me to hold off on ordering a second serving. And then I just decided not to because it was a rip-off. Also, on my last experience, I ordered a flatbread pizza and it was not good at all. First of all, when you hear the word "flatbread", you're thinking something on the order of crust that is definitely no thicker than 1/2 inch, BUT, this "flatbread" was THICK like Sicilian style pizza and that's not what I wanted at all. I asked the server about it, and she confirmed "Yeah, that's just how the kitchen serves them." It was hard to eat. The crust was super crunchy (no chewiness at all like a thick bread should have) and all of the ingredients on top were falling off with every bite.

Great food (the charcuterie plate was thoughtfully curated including homemade fig jam!) And the drink selection was perfect. Obviously they know their wines! But beer drinkers are equally cared for. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the overall vibe is one that if you choose to hang out for a while, you're well-cared for and absolutely welcomed.

I really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and simplicity of good ingredients with good equipment and technique. Nothing was being hidden, instead every component was highlighted. The dough was crispy and just taken from the oven, and the boar was juicy and made the pizza incredibly savory. I would really recommend this place. My friend who's lived in italy approved!
