I ordered for delivery and they didn't start making it until the driver arrived. Sausage was so burnt I could barely chew it! They could've had a little bit more care making a pizza. I paid how much extra for each topping and they just threw the basil on there in such a rushed way. this pizza was 25$ why accept the order if you're not going to make it when customers place the order. I've gotten this 3 times first time it was great!! Next two times I was very disappointed.

They lost a star because of their non-pizza related food. Went here on a date, we started off with fried calamari and there were random fried vegetables included which I've never heard of or seen before. I bit into an onion thinking it was calamari, they had other vegetables in there too. I thought I ordered fried calamari not whatever I got. Their pizza though, is absolutely phenomenal. Thin crust, different sauces, delicious pepperoni, fresh, decent sized. It def tasted like good quality. I got the Drunken Pepperoni which was 5/5. I will def be back to try their other pizzas, as well as other non-pizza related food but will avoid the calamari at all costs.

Happened to be passing through Poughkeepsie and this restaurant got high ratings, so decided to try it. Food was out of this world. Garlic knots were the best we ever had - so much garlic YUM!! Kept it simple with meatballs and pizza. All was delicious. Highly recommend for some good beer and fantastic food.

The neighbourhood vibe they've created from opening. I have many favourite pizza spots and these kids have grabbed a spot on that list. Personal, friendly, honest, engaged, they've got the tools to be amazing and are working them. Fantastic Job! We'll be regulars for certain. Darrin and Kevin

Rounding up, more like 3.5 New pub in the old Spanky's location which has sat vacant for decades. The inside is really cute and homey and welcoming. There is a bar with a TV, some tables in the bar area and more in a second room. It pains me to write this because I really want them to succeed and I want great sourdough pizza near me, but we've visited twice and both times the pies have fallen a bit flat. First visit we ordered the riccardo with sausage on half and we got that, but it was also missing the potatoes and rosemary and was really bland. And the crust was too doughy and undercooked. I love thin crust pizza but it has to be crispy. But they had just opened and figured their would be some growing pains. Second time we ordered take out and went with the classic house pie. Again the dough was just undercooked, the flavor was a bit better, but very sparse on the cheese. Also ordered a side of meatballs which tasted great, but were very pricey at $12...the same price as the pie. Not sure why the pies are so undercooked but I think it must be their their oven. The pizza photos they share on social media look so amazing, but the pies we've had just don't look like that. It's a family business and they all seem like very lovely people, so I really hope they figure some things out and it improves.

Great little dive bar. Excellent friendly service. Delicious sourdough thin crust, juicy San Marzano sauce. Our server and the cook staff were great. The dark hardwood floors and dark walls and bluesy music makes for a really chill lunch w beers after a walk across the Mid Hudson Bridge.

Highly recommend this place. The pizza is great, the fries w/ the aioli on point and the atmosphere put the finishing touches. Chris the owner is a great dude and his staff loves being here and is easily seen. Had both the vodka sauce and the red sauce both are phenomenal. The drunken pepperoni pizza prob a fav. Don't wait for Portnoy to rate this place a 8+ and gets slammed. Do it now !

Finally seeing this building become an actual establishment again is just the tip of the iceberg with The Dutch Crown. Great sour dough pizza by very friendly staff. Warm environment, and crazy god pizza. Great selection of craft beer, and huge fan of any pizza they put hot honey on. The only thing better than the food is the music they play.

Love this spot! Has a small town pizza spot vibe. You walk in and everyone says hi, you can see the kitchen and all the pizzas being cooked. The menu is limited but I think that makes for delicious food because they become experts in those items. All the employees were super friendly and happy to help when needed. Food was delicious!

Always worried my second visit won't live up to my first. It did. Great service, great beer, great french fries, and delicious pizza.

So I got the ambassador pizza, flaky crunchy crust, gooey cheese, savory tomato sauce and very salty pepperoni what's not to love. Chicago deep dish is hard to come by but here it's nailed just right. For ice cream sandwich man very good, love the crust and ice cream was so smooth, I do wish I came in season they had strawberry one, but this one was very good regardless. The place has two seating arrangements in the periphery and one big community table in the middle that could fit maybe 10 or more. There's also bar style sitting overlooking the pizza makers. Overall, the place is small, but just enough. Take out folks come in to the cashier as well. Getting your pizza will take a while though. This is not your neighborhood pizzeria where you get a premade pizza and slap some toppings and 5 minutes later you got your pie. No folks, this is order pizza and wait about 20+ minutes for my pizza to arrive. I'm sure the take out folks may have something to do with it too. We will definitely be back to try the other creations.

I really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and simplicity of good ingredients with good equipment and technique. Nothing was being hidden, instead every component was highlighted. We were seated in the back near the pizza oven, which ended up being the best seat in the house because we got to meet Austin. He was absolutely fantastic. The energy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality he brought to the experience made the evening so special. Mike was our server and he was also wonderful, checking in often and making sure everything was perfect. They had unfortunately run out of chicken parmesan, but instead of simply saying it wasn't available, they made it from scratch just for my husband. It was easily one of the best chicken parmesans we have ever had. The sauce was so incredible that we could not stop talking about it. Austin overheard us and, without us even asking, brought over a full bowl of the sauce so we could dip our pizza crust in it. That level of attention and care is something you rarely see. I ordered the New York style pizza and it was absolutely delicious. They use sourdough and King Arthur's flour, and you can truly taste the difference. The flavor and texture were outstanding. When we finished, they asked if we wanted dessert. We were hesitant because we were already so full, but Austin encouraged us to try their vanilla cheesecake and we are so glad he did. It was honestly some of the best cheesecake we have ever had. Between the phenomenal food, the thoughtful service, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere, this place completely exceeded our expectations. Experiences like this are rare and truly special. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

It slightly pains me to write this review, as my first experience at Cosimo's was soooooo good…read more Let's get on with it tho. We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.
