Everything was delicious , it is just a little tight in there within the seating. Service was great. Definitely will be returning for lunch next time.

We love doing Brunch and a Flight Attendant friend of our son recommended this restaurant as a must go to for Brunch and it did not disappoint. The food was out of this world. Chicken was tender and breading was delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and had the right amount of seasoning. The eggs benedict was so unusual and tasty. The service was impeccable and wait staff came by frequently to check on us. Restaurant has a very trendy vibe and was a great place for Brunch. Only wish they had more outdoor seating as it was a gorgeous day in Philly. This is a Must dine experience if you find yourself in Philly. Would highly recommend

"Wednesday" was my server (Halloween costume) and she took really good care of me. It's a bustling cafe with a bar and a great brunch menu. I had the huevos rancheros, which is served atop a cornbread waffle. Very tasty and great portions. Rival Bros coffee or mimosas if you're interested. I plan on coming back soon :)

I try to come here as often as I can on the weekends because they have the BEST chicken and waffles that I've had in Philly so far. The only issue is they only serve it as a special on the weekends. They change how they do it every weekend it seems but the end result is a plate full of deliciousness and greatness lol. The first time I came it was basically a Thanksgiving themed chicken and waffles and I died from the joy lol. The service is great just be mindful of the space. They place is small and cozy so if you dont come early you'll be waiting a while for a table. I definitely reccomend.

Lovely ambiance in a cute setting. It feels like you're in someone's kitchen and the scratch food is fresh and tasty. Lovely, kind, prompt service!

I got their pancakes which were pretty good. They got a nice little crisp to them which I like. Their chicken and waffle special is just superb though. Literal thanksgiving on a plate !! So yummy. Gets very busy on weekends though.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Waited about 20-30 minutes for a table. Must get a Dutch baby!! They get your number and text you when your table is ready.

Absolutely looooved this spot and can't wait to go back. We came because of the Dutch Babies on the menu, and then didn't even get them because other things looked so good. They had a special on Challah French Toast that day, so we opted for that instead of a Dutch Baby (but will definitely go back for one in the future) and it was delicious. My favorite of the two dishes we got though was the eggs Benedict - probably one of the best Eggs Bennies I've ever had. The chipped beef and the sauce was just amazing. Service was super friendly and prompt, and the space is very cute. I can't wait to go back!

Gave this spot a try after walking past it a few times. Overall, I was underwhelmed. The fries were soggy and not seasoned. My fried chicken was good but the sandwich was meh. My partner did not like their food much either. It was a cold day and with people coming to add themself to the waitlist, the door was constantly open allowing a frigid draft. The space was crammed and it felt like the emphasis was on turning people over, not promoting a quality experience. Would not recommend.

Came here for light dinner and drinks and sat at the bar. The bartender, Patrick, was awesome! Great conversation and even better drinks! We had espresso martinis and old fashioned. We snacked on a Caesar salad with fries but the drinks stole the show. Very cute intimate place!

I finally made my way to The Dutch this week after creating a book mark for this place way back when. I can thank Fox 29's feature, which mentioned the special "Soul Food" dinner for the reminder that I needed to make a dinner reservation ASAP. Unfortunately, I was a little too late for the soul food dinner as the early reservations were sold out. I opted for a Friday evening reservation instead. I was greeted by a friendly young woman upon arriving who advised I could choose my seat. I decided to sit near the window at one of the tall tables. The dining room is a quaint, warm and welcoming. The hostess provided menus with "Happy Hour Specials" and I was OVERJOYED to hear there were two items still available from the soul food dinner. Thus, I decided to try the short rib mac n cheese for my appetizer(still available from the soul food dinner) , the steak frites for my entree and the banana pudding (still available from the soul food dinner) for dessert. I also had the blood orange mojito for my drink. I'm going to skip straight to the food bc that's probably why you are reading this review. Haha. The short rib mac n cheese was incredible!!! The short rib was seasoned and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the mac n cheese. I could taste the smokiness of the short rib in the mac n cheese and I loved it! Next up, the steak frites. Now, this steak rivaled some of the steaks I have enjoyed at the high end steak houses all over. It was a simple skirt steak, but it also was seasoned to perfection. I didn't need to add or subtract a single thing from it. The frites were fresh, hot and nicely done. Now, for dessert. The banana pudding parfait was light and delightful. It was topped off with some sort of butter cookie that I couldn't get enough of. The cream/pudding was fresh, airy and perfect. It wasn't too sweet and I didn't feel overwhelming full after finishing it. I'd like to wrap up this review by saying my Dutch experience was top notch and I can't wait to make my way back to enjoy more dining options.

Always an enjoyable meal, especially brunch. I have loved this spot ever since its early days in Pennsport. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything to eat here. Everything is made with quality and the portion sizes are good. Great coffee too!

Interesting little place in the heart of South Philly. we went with several very different items, The Veggie Dutch, the Lebanese Salami and cream chesse omelet, and the truffle mushroom omelet. All was good and different and will come back to try the great looking pancakes! Service was a little slow as it is a small place and two front staff members. The bar out front takes a lot of space , if it was nice out, we would have sat in the outside space out front.

This was my first time actually trying it and it definitely lived up to the hype of the Yelp reviews. My wrap had chicken, hummus, lettuce, and feta, and it was so delicious. My chicken was very good, very tender and seasoned well. It also had a great creamy hummus to tie all the other ingredients together. The feta added just enough saltiness to balance out the rest of the flavors. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and my wrap was extremely soft, yet still maintained its form completely as I ate. I also ordered a Nutella hot chocolate. It was delicious! It was my fist time having a Nutella hot Chocolate. I usually just get a normal hot chocolate. The pita chips served as an additional side item with this sandwich and proved to be quite enjoyable. The pita chips had a good crunch and were able to pair with the wrap very well. I ended up eating all of the pita chips! It was a great lunch and I enjoyed my wrap! I would likely order from Café Square One again in the future, especially, if that wrap is still on their menu!
