This particular day I wanted something different and was down for a short drive. The first place that came to mind was the Waterford Hotel. I don't think I've ever eaten there prior. It was packed but we were seated immediately. They had a stuffed chicken breast on special that was my first choice. They were out of it so I settled on the 5oz sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions from the lighter menu. My partner chose the tavern turkey dinner that came with stuffing and gravy. Totally drool worthy. Almost every menu item comes with soup or salad, a roll, vegetable, and your choice of potato. It was like having a nice home cooked meal. This was my favorite part. The portions were perfect and all the food was delicious. I would return here weekly.

Mistakes Happen, Disrespect Doesn't…read more My friend and I ordered wings, which took a very long time to come out. When mine finally arrived, the order was completely wrong. I didn't eat them--I sent them back and politely asked for them to be removed from the bill. My friend got a box for his food and despite the experience, still left a tip. When we walked to our car, the waiter and other staff members proceeded to flip us off, give us thumbs-down gestures, and stare us down through the windows until we drove away. Why should I be expected to pay for or eat something I didn't order? Mistakes happen, but treating customers this way for respectfully addressing a mistake is extremely immature and unprofessional. Customers spend their hard-earned money to support your business and deserve basic respect. Your staff represents your business. If management allows this kind of behavior to continue without addressing it, it reflects poorly on the entire establishment and sends the message that treating customers this way is acceptable. We won't be returning.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the ambience, comfort, food, and hospitality offered by Martin and Phillip. This is an elegant, first class, traditional Bed & Breakfast with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The mansion is less assuming on the outside than the White Inn, which I've stayed at many times before, but is much classier, far more comfortable, and much higher quality. Martin and Phillip create a peaceful and cozy home away from home with glowing fireplaces, soft music, bottomless cups of tea/coffee, and impeccable and creative Farm to Table meals that alone make the stay worth your while. If you are looking for an elevated experience to rest your soul and lift your spirits, you need not look any further than this quaint and charming treasure.

The beds were comfortable and soft. The shower water was super hot. The entire house is filled with Victorian period antiques. For breakfast she had the included gingerbread pancakes and I had the frittata. Delicious! The coffee was hand-pressed fresh and the juice & muffin were tasty. Downtown Fredonia and its National Registry twin commons has a variety of pubs and eateries an easy three blocks away. Highly recommended for a Fredonia Village stay.

Holes in couch cushions, chunks of wall missing, hairdryer is hanging by a thread in the bathroom. Beat up furniture. The toilet ran forever. I had to take the back off the tank to hold the float up until it filled and stopped running. Not to mention that there were a lot of youth hockey team/families in the hotel. Kids playing knee hockey in the hallway and running up and down the hallway until 1am!! So much for the quiet time from 11pm to 8am! It's unfortunate that this is the ONLY place to stay for a hotel in Edinboro but I've decided it's worth the drive to Erie or South to have better accommodations. This is probably why they don't make any updates/clean because they are the only place in town and people don't have a choice.

The shower had mold around the caulking. This week I was booked through my employer again to stay due to pricing in Erie area being higher. The bed and pillow are comfortable, however the elevator was working but not properly, and this shower had mold around the caulking but also what appears to be black mold on the ceiling. Could be a very nice hotel if it was cleaner. The lobby itself is very nice minus a broken boarded window in the front. Staff is very friendly and overall it isn't a bad place. Please just clean the mold and recaulk, would make a huge difference. Also the elevator being sketchy isn't practical when people are traveling with work equipment. I would stay again, but I would feel more relaxed with a clean bathroom.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Water pressure in the shower was strong and hot water available within seconds. Amenities included an above average fitness center with dumbbells up to 50 lbs, multiple treadmills, two elliptical machines, a peloton bike, and a cable pulley tower. There was also an indoor pool and a complimentary breakfast buffet with hot and cold food options, plus light roast and dark roast coffee. If you're in a rush the staff made to-go bags for any guests to take that included a bagel with jam and peanut butter, apple, and bottled water. To my pleasant surprise they also had a nightly social 6-8 pm in the lobby with complimentary adult beverages on ice. The selection was Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Yuengling, and multiple flavors of seltzers. I've seen this done at other higher end Hilton properties like Embassy Suites but first time seeing it at a Hampton Inn! Would definitely stay here again!

There's a decent selection of chain restaurants a few stores/shops to browse.
