My first time in, they had a live band... the band was great! Mixture of old school rock and country. Place was packed. Everyone having a good time great atmosphere. The bartender was attentive, fast and super friendly.

Rivers edge lounge, very relaxed laid back atmosphere to wind down after work!!!

Now that they are serving bar food, I am definitely coming back. I had a meatball sub and mozzarella sticks. Yummy

Been drinking here since high school. pretty much your average dive bar. stiff drinks, cheap prices, normally a good time.

This area was amazing back when I was a little kid, it's the missed opportunity that the people of Tucson abandoned. Ambiance/Cleanliness- Loved it!! Dimly lit, true lounge with great decor. It's a little like upscale dive bar meets strip club meets The Peppermill Lounge in Las Vegas, but its own vibe. Clean where it needs to be. 4 stars Service-Hanna was the BEST, taking time to listen to food/drink requests and make solid, helpful recommendations. Circled back a couple times to check status. 5 stars Food-Inconsistent. Devils on Horseback bacon wrapped dates were fire, perfect crunch on bacon. Coconut shrimp needed to be butterflied. Mac n Cheese was wonderful, pulled pork on top needed spice. The patty melt patty was inexplicably rubbery. Nutty buddy cheesecake was perfect. 3 stars Will go again. They have AYCE spaghetti on Mondays.

We Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Only two other customers in the place before we got there. A band called Bassanova was playing on the stage. They actually sounded pretty good. We asked the girl bartending if they always had bands on Sunday afternoons and she explained that they practiced there. They were actually a plus. The beer selection and prices are decent and it''s cool and dark inside which we were looking for on a hot June afternoon. Now for the not so great and reason for the two stars. The girl bartending who was only two feet away from us was more interested in her vape pin and her phone than the few customers in there bar. Even when we waited for breaks in the music to ask for another beer we had to ask twice to get her attention. My BF's second glass of beer had a chip on the rim of the glass and he nicked his lip. When he pointed out that the glass was chipped she didn't even acknowledge he said anything. He turned it to another side and just finished his beer. When she picked up his empty glass he again mentioned the broken glass and she jokingly said "Well why'd you break it?" She then came over and thoroughly inspected the glass before finally throwing it in the garbage without even an I'm sorry or any other comment even when he mentioned that it nicked his lip . The final insult though was when we when we were on our second beer, my BF asked if nobody was watching the TV, which was showing the movie Back to the Future IIit could be switched to some type of sports. After unsuccessfully finding a baseball game he chose horse racing, which he actually likes. After about 15 minutes another customer who seems like he comes in regularly came in and after a few minutes of taking to the bartender he must have mentioned something about the tv because she handed him the remote and without even asking if anyone was watching (which she knew we were) he changed the TV to a Big 3 basketball type game. My BF asked across the bar if we could at least watch one horse race before he changed the channel but either he didn't understand what he meant or didn't care that we were watching it. And to add insult to injury, he didn't even watch it, he just turned away from the TV and carried on a conversation with the bartender.

If you know a guy with a garage band who does decent covers of dad rock, he probably plays here on Thursday nights. Every now and then, you'll still see younger artists and crowds, as well as frequent karaoke. The sound system is great, and the new paint job, especially the mural gives it extra character. If you can bear the consistently loud environment, the small menu carries some hearty bar food. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich, but the wings are solidly above average. If you want to dine while enjoying some entertainment in a welcoming, unpretentious environment, you can't overlook Big Bad Wolf. I hope it sticks around!

The interior is visually congested, not in a bad way but with lots of decor, seating, movement areas and etc. It makes a feeling of the space being busy and distracting. I prefer calmer spaces but it's not terrible. Service was prompt, frequent and wonderful. An older woman came by and asked how we wanted salsa and made us a bowl which was INCREDIBLE! So savory, spicy, fresh and left me wanting more. (You get a certain amount salsa and chips per person than you gotta pay). It was literally perfect. We weren't super hungry and wanted to share, to us the serving was more than enough for two. We enjoyed a house rocks margarita, grilled steak fajitas with rice and beans, sides of sour cream and guacamole and also some chips and salsa. It was all very well made, came out steaming and was very satisfying. The space felt cold to me, but seemed fine to all else. So just a note there if you run on the warmer side. I don't know if they do reservations, but I would imagine on some nights it would be a good idea seeing as they seem very busy.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.
