We tried this cute little restaurant this morning for breakfast and were impressed. The food was delicious, cooked to our specifications, and was very reasonably priced! The staff was attentive with each server/busser checking on us often with coffee, drink refills, or to make sure everything was ok. We were really impressed with the whole waitstaff working together to make sure we were taken care of, that's something you don't see very often. Way to go team and we will be back. read more

Exactly what we have been searching for...the perfect neighborhood diner, with a perfect traditional menu, including all-day breakfast! Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. (mst) daily, closes Sunday's at 3 p.m.. My Cobb Salad was crisp and fresh with generous ingredients, delicious grilled chicken, and a great selection of excellent homemade dressings. My husband loved his steak dinner, including a generous, fresh side salad, Texas toast, homemade mashed potatoes & gravy, and a medley of fresh grilled veggies. We will be visiting regularly to try all our favorites. The staff are very helpful and excited about this great new place and are dedicated to delivering an excellent meal at a very reasonable price point. Great kids/Seniors menu, too. It's the new comfortable neighborhood place to go...can't wait to go back. read more

This was a good find. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall and the parking isn't abundant but neither is the seating in the restaurant. Fortunately we were able to snag the last remaining table, there are a few stools at a counter type situation if you're by yourself. I can see this getting busy and we arrived just after 9am on a Saturday. This restaurant is small, however we never felt too cramped. The menu was decent, the service was good and we saved almost $10 here (family of 3) than other places we normally have gone. Food was good, I had a vegetarian omelette with Swiss with a side of sausage. Wife and son had the French toast and bacon. Everything was flavorful and arrived quickly. Coffee was very good too. First time here so I'm reserving the 5th star for future visits and consistent experiences. read more

This is a great little place. We arrived during a busy time and the host said we could wait or sit at the bar area. We decided not to wait and sat near the kitchen. Tim our waiter did a great job serving us and keeping the coffee and soda replenished. The skillet was great and really hit the spot. Would recommend this place to everyone in the area. Finally a great comfort food restaurant in the Highlands Ranch area. We've been sorely lacking a really good quality restaurant of this type. My wife and I have been 3 times in the past 10 days. Food is amazing for the price. Had a sirloin steak for $9.95 that included salad, veggies, and potato. I'm also a huge fan of their pancakes. So much better than IHOP or Village Inn. Lots of variety, friendly service, and a large menu. Highly recommended. read more

A delightful little restaurant with a small town diner feel to it. Very attentive service, good food, and good value. Great variety of breakfast items and excellent biscuits and gravy as one of the side options. They also have sandwiches and "dinner entrees" for a mid-day heartier meal. The reason why I am not giving five stars is not because of the food or service, that part is amazing! I am dropping a star because of the water quality, I know this sounds weird but I could taste it first in the coffee, I knew something was off, but then when I tasted the water strait it has a weird off putting "tap" water flavor. Granted I am a total snob when it comes to coffee, which also means the water used to brew it. I may have to get coffee next door at enchanted grounds then come to eat. Kick up the water/coffee quality and this will easily be a a new favorite place, although from a food and service stand point it already is! read more

Great breakfast, haven't had lunch there yet. It gets a bit drafty and cold if sitting by the entrance. Small restaurant, no reservations. Unless you get there early it probably won't work for a large group (6+). I really liked their simple but delicious breakfast offerings, exactly what we were looking for. The egg is a very special place to me and if you take a second to listen to my story it will definitely give you the confidence to try it out! I am an ex employee and I'm now a regular at the egg. My Favorite item on the menu is the French dip! The breakfast is also some of the best around and you can't go wrong with anything you get! I come from many corporate restaurants who really don't care about their employees or guest and the egg is the complete opposite. Not only was it a fun environment to work around but the staff also made the job wonderful for the workers and the guest! It's a family owned restaurant and the amount of care and work that the owners put into the restaurant surpasses any other I've worked for. It's already known for being an awesome restaurant from the service to the food but I felt everyone should also know that the employees are treated wonderfully there and that you are not just a number to the owners. THESE GUYS ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOU! Fortunately but unfortunately I've started my own business and have cut my availability to outside employers. I'm so glad to leave the hospitality industry on a great note and will miss this restaurant. (Now I can relax and eat here) so I'm very excited about that! I just wanted everyone to know the perspective from an x employee because 9/10 it's normally negative if someone has something to say about an X employer, but I have nothing but great things to say about these guys and will continue to support my new Favorite restaurant! My pregnant wife wanted pancakes for dinner, but neither of us wanted IHOP, so thanks to yelp, we found this place. What a surprise. The food was excellent, had the breakfast chicken fried chicken. Came with fabulous French toast. The wife had the Nutella pancakes that completely satisfied her cravings. The service was great. Service was excellent. Very expensive. Regular coffee was not part of the meal and it was $2.25, which if I had realized that, I would have gone next door to the coffee shop after for that. I was also over charged, not receiving the discount for the special of the day. Food has potential but needs work. Had the cali benadict and it was good. Hollendise was excellent, eggs cooked properly and the avacado was fresh. Could have been hotter but I don't think it sat so who knows. The potatoes were not really chrispy and bland. Everything needed salt and I am careful about salt. The pancakes were the most disappointing and reviews here say they are fluffy, but my blueberry one was very tough indicating the batter was over beaten. I will give it another try though as it is a new restaurant. read more

I don't understand why this has such high marks. The service was outstanding and cozy. However, the food was just ok. I had the breakfast burrito and it was pretty bland. Spoiled by the breakfast burrito at The Platte. Also had a bite of the French toast and it was normal French toast. Spoiled by the French toast at Toast. Nothing special. A great new find!!! It has only been open for a short time, but on Saturday and Sunday mornings it is packed! We also went on a Wednesday early afternoon and while it was not crowded it was hopping! It"s the type of food that mom made ... pork chops, pot roast, fried chicken, and the best liver and onions ever!! Fabulous breakfast omelet dishes, too! A small family joint in a good location. Opened mid June 2017 they're still getting into the groove of things and figuring out how they work best. That said, their menu is fairly large with an excellent selection. To top it off, the food portions are generous and tastes incredible. Their French toast is to die for and their biscuits and gravy tastes like something you'd get at Cracker Barrel.
