What I love about this business is they make it right. I have been here more than twenty times, I'm me, and I keep going back because their work is impressive. That Good. Not only that they're honest transparent, they will call you back, and honestly, we're talking about getting your clothes altered it costs what it costs, it is not all cheap. We all know that. But you would think their prices would be right at the top, which would reflect the excellent work they do, but their prices are not at all the highest in town or even close. I love the work they do, been going here for years, and I love that they all actually listen to me when I am talking and do everything how I want it done.

My first negative review…read more This is the first negative review I've ever written because I know reviews affect someone's livelihood. However, my experience as a customer also matters. This was the third time my alterations were not ready on the promised date. When I came to pick them up, my claim ticket showed one pickup date while her records apparently showed another. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or taking any responsibility, she immediately became defensive and focused on why the mistake wasn't hers. When I returned to pick up my completed alterations, I made a genuine effort to put the situation behind us. Instead, she remained dismissive. I asked, "Are we okay?" She waved me off and told me that next time I should find someone else. Mistakes happen. Repeated mistakes can also happen. What matters is how a business treats its customers when things go wrong. After three missed pickup dates, what I'll remember most is not the tailoring, but the defensiveness, the lack of accountability, and being told to take my business elsewhere.

I was very specific from the beginning that I needed the wiring removed from the cups of the dress. I also requested the slit be moved up and the bottom hem shortened. When I arrived to pick up the dress, only the hem had been done properly. I was then told the remaining fixes would "take 10 minutes." Thirty minutes later, they had only adjusted the slit and the wiring was STILL in the dress. At that point, I had already repeated the same request multiple times. When I calmly explained AGAIN that the wire needed to be removed, the woman working began talking over me and arguing with me instead of listening. I am now sitting here waiting even longer for alterations that should have been completed correctly the first time after they had my dress for two full weeks. For the amount of money charged, especially with a rush fee, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service have been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this business if you need reliable tailoring or time-sensitive work.
