I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here. I paid over $300 including a rush fee and tip…read moreto have a dress tailored for an upcoming wedding, and after two weeks almost none of the requested alterations were completed correctly. I was very specific from the beginning that I needed the wiring removed from the cups of the dress. I also requested the slit be moved up and the bottom hem shortened. When I arrived to pick up the dress, only the hem had been done properly. I was then told the remaining fixes would "take 10 minutes." Thirty minutes later, they had only adjusted the slit and the wiring was STILL in the dress. At that point, I had already repeated the same request multiple times. When I calmly explained AGAIN that the wire needed to be removed, the woman working began talking over me and arguing with me instead of listening. I am now sitting here waiting even longer for alterations that should have been completed correctly the first time after they had my dress for two full weeks. For the amount of money charged, especially with a rush fee, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service have been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this business if you need reliable tailoring or time-sensitive work.

I spoke with Angel about if they could repair it. He said there were a few options, I did not like any of them. Then he thought for a minute more and came up with a brilliant tailor's idea. Place a horizontal seem across both sides of the jacket so it would appear as if it was done by the original maker. BRILLIANT! Thank you A&C.

I love this little art studio and can't wait to take more classes here! I participated in a Dutch…read morePour Class (offered through Artown) and had so much fun making a set of coasters. The class size was perfect for this activity, allowing for the teacher to adequately share instructions, demonstrate the process, and work one-on-one with students as needed. The instructions were organized on a print out with all the materials and supplies needed to replicate the activity at home and referenced during the instruction portion of the class. The materials for the class were well-maintained and organized at each place setting for each student. I've taken other art classes elsewhere and I felt like this was a step above with regard to organization, instruction, and take away materials. I loved the experience so much that I'm going to take another class in October, and this time I'm bringing a friend! In addition to the art classes and studio, Copper Cat also has a delightful little art/gift shop with items made from the artists in studio. Most are in the front shop, but some pieces are scattered throughout. Take your time looking at all the wonderful pieces... so many great art gems for sale at very affordable prices. This little shop is now on my go-to for gift shopping.

I'm not a mosaic or stained glass artist, but even to my eyes, the supply they carry looked amazing. Also local artists' works (including the owner Katie's) throughout; perfect for gift shopping. Yes, original art makes great gifts, while supporting a local woman-owned business! Everything is so tastefully, lovingly displayed. Just very lovely space. Hope you'll come visit.
