The back patio of The Parlor Bar is expansive and has lovely ocean views. This is a perfect place to grab a drink with a relaxed atmosphere and great views. There were a few items to order for snacking, and we were happy with the way the meat and cheese boards came out.

We had a wonderful time at a small local restaurant…read more We had booked a 5pm reservation and came early and walked around the area to get a feel for Annisquam. It is a beautiful quiet area with very nice people. We then had a Tuna Tartar, a Halibut Ceviche, a fresh Beet & Burrata salad with Citrus dressing, and shared a Swordfish. The Tuna Tartar was served with avocado, and corn with a light touch of jalapeño and blended quite well together. The Halibut Ceviche had a nice citrus flavor with avocado and was also quite good. The Beet & Burrata salad was simple, but so good. Beets, Cara Cara, Fresh Tomatoes, and Pine Nuts with an awesome home made Burrata. We then shared a Swordfish on a carrot puree served with eggplant. This was cooked very well, not overcooked (which ruins Swordfish). The wait staff was super nice and and answered a number of questions I had about the area, and the portion sizes were quite plentiful. We would definitely go back when we are in the area.

It's located right on Lobster Cove on the Annisquam River, with beautiful views. We were seated outside, and it was so peaceful out there - the perfect place for a meal! We had an early reservation on a Sunday night (I'd have taken something later, but Talise is very popular, and I took what I could get) and were seated at a beautiful table outside right away. The menu is really incredible - seasonal, fresh, inspired by the restaurant's surroundings. My mom eats mostly vegan, and they were extremely accommodating and made her a pasta dish that wasn't on the menu. I had their sourdough bread with butter, sourdough soy, and sel gris (my mom shared it with me without the butter - more for me!); two of their raw oysters from New Brunswick with a sparkling rose mignonette; two of their dressed oysters with plumcots, prosecco mignonette, and smoked trout roe; and their bucatini with Cape clams, Calabrian chile, onion cream, bacon, pounded basil, bread crumbs, and 2-year Parmigiano Reggiano. Everything was very good, but I wish the sauce on the pasta had been thickened a bit so it would stick to the pasta; the sauce was delicious, but was as thin as broth and that made it hard to enjoy. My mom and I also shared their apple crunch (with almonds, vanilla gelato, and caramel), with the gelato on the side, which was a great ending to the meal. With a glass of orange wine to boot, I really enjoyed the meal overall. The meal was mostly lovely - it'd be hard not enjoy a meal this tasty in such a beautiful location - but I found the service a little cold, almost to the point that I wondered if I had annoyed or offended our server somehow. The less friendly service was only a slight damper on what was a very nice meal. I'd be happy to return - it's a gorgeous spot with a great seasonal and regional approach to its cuisine.

Looks like they are generally open 9am-6pm daily, sometime early May through year end. Order at the counter inside their little shop, pay, and head down the little alley (hold on tightly to your stuff so you don't accidentally drop anything enroute) to their back deck with limited seating, and access to their bathrooms. Listen up for your name and they will bring you your food on a tray. A family of three shared the 3 chicken lobsters for $50 during the 2025 season, and a dozen raw oysters for $30. My single lobster was $18. Single oysters $3 apiece. Creamy clam chowder $7. Stuffed clam $3. The $30 cold lobster roll came with cole slaw and a bag of chips. The hot dog roll looked small but was well filled with fresh sweet lobster meat. Her smoked salmon $8 were two thick chunks of fish. My hot in-shell boiled lobster arrived several minutes after, pre-cracked. Carefully poured out the green water, and I went at it. Making use of the sink by the bathroom afterwards to get cleaned up. A delicious way to start our outing to Rockport! BTW parking in the nearby area is paid and seasonal. Head to the kiosk, enter the license plate, pay an affordable price, and stick the slip on your dashboard. Parking tickets are no fun.

To start, the atmosphere is ideal for a beautiful summer night. It was airy, clean, lively and so inviting with twinkling ceiling lights. My family of 5 loved the overall decor. We also loved the view, ocean air and beautiful breeze as we ate the delicious food. We felt like we were on a Cape vacation. The food was just as satisfying. My husband said the baked haddock was the very best he's ever had. My Mediterranean salmon was also outstanding. My mother and sister raved about their appetizers, including jumbo shrimp, clams and steamers. Everything we ordered was excellent. I was especially pleased with the serving size. Some restaurants have a nice presentation, yet small serving size, but not Seaport, it had both. To top it off, the Sherry Berry is a dessert everyone must try! Perfect finish to a perfect meal. In addition to the restaurant itself and amazing food, the service was excellent. We were greeted by the extremely friendly manager, Carter, and were well taken care of by our personable waitress Kristina. She was so attentive and pleasant throughout our whole meal. Kristina was so busy, but she made us feel like we were her only party! By the end of our meal, we felt we made a friend during dinner and we will be back to see her requesting her table! Can't wait to return!

I didn't realize their rice had parsley in it since it wasn't listed on the menu. A bit disappointing since I'm not a fan of parsley, so I couldn't really enjoy the rice since that was all I tasted. The tuna tartare was average. When the bill came, the tuna tartare was charged as $27 and not $25 as listed on their menus. The manager told me there must've been a price change and that was it. It was a bit disappointing since it felt like false advertising, I would've preferred a transparent heads up as I was ordering my meal. EDIT: 8/6/2026 After seeing this review, Fleur did reach out to make things right about the price difference situation and the manager I spoke with.
