The back patio of The Parlor Bar is expansive and has lovely ocean views. This is a perfect place to grab a drink with a relaxed atmosphere and great views. There were a few items to order for snacking, and we were happy with the way the meat and cheese boards came out.

The menu changes daily, and it isn't until late that day that we found out what we would be eating that evening. One of the 4 chose the pork and other three chose lobster spaghetti. Though that is not what they called it. There was plenty of lobster. Mostly underneath, and plenty of cut tail, too which was nice. But for $55 I guess you can use an ingredient like that. It was in a light sauce, not oily at all which was great. A nice light yet almost bland taste to it. One the of the chose the pork loin which was very good. I had a bit. of course. I don't care for pork other than bacon but this was nice. The sear on it tasted so yummy yet not too salty. For apps we got half dozen Cadillac oysters which our friends raved about, and the sourdough with salted butter, which was yummy but wouldn't get that again. We skipped dessert to go to Holy Cow 5 mins away which we highly recommend. Size of portions was perfect. No leftovers but more than enough. Definitely a special place though.

Looks like they are generally open 9am-6pm daily, sometime early May through year end. Order at the counter inside their little shop, pay, and head down the little alley (hold on tightly to your stuff so you don't accidentally drop anything enroute) to their back deck with limited seating, and access to their bathrooms. Listen up for your name and they will bring you your food on a tray. A family of three shared the 3 chicken lobsters for $50 during the 2025 season, and a dozen raw oysters for $30. My single lobster was $18. Single oysters $3 apiece. Creamy clam chowder $7. Stuffed clam $3. The $30 cold lobster roll came with cole slaw and a bag of chips. The hot dog roll looked small but was well filled with fresh sweet lobster meat. Her smoked salmon $8 were two thick chunks of fish. My hot in-shell boiled lobster arrived several minutes after, pre-cracked. Carefully poured out the green water, and I went at it. Making use of the sink by the bathroom afterwards to get cleaned up. A delicious way to start our outing to Rockport! BTW parking in the nearby area is paid and seasonal. Head to the kiosk, enter the license plate, pay an affordable price, and stick the slip on your dashboard. Parking tickets are no fun.

Nicely portioned, flaky piece of fish with fresh lettuce, tomato and thinly sliced onion. The fries were crisp, hot and salted perfectly. The tartar sauce was predictably if uneventful at best. The fried shrimp and fish n chips were cooked perfectly and portioned well. The ambiance was nice, decor is contemporary nautical, elegant and tasteful. As the crowd gathered, the noise level became unbearable. Couldn't hold a conversation without shouting across our tiny table. Our server was pulling double duty as bartender and handling two tables across from the bar which was unmanageable for one person. Service was slow... like really slow. 120 min for three fried entrees and one app. and we weren't in a rush but it took forever. I felt badly as they could have easily turned this table 2-3 times more than they did. Beer was cold. Ice water was aplenty. Food 7/10. Service was polite and friendly but slow as molasses. They need a full time bartender asap at least for weekend evenings when it's busier. For some added yet unexpected entertainment a rude senior was addressed by the manager for clanging his silverware on a glass for no reason other than to be rude and annoying while trying to get the attention of his server. This caused a bit of a stir because he raised his voice in disdain to being criticized for not acting appropriately. His childish tantrum was handled efficiently by the manager. She admirably suggested he leave the premises which would have been supported by the other patrons. Those present seemed to think an apology by this customer to the server for being disrespectful was in order but that didn't happen. Just an unfortunate event for an already struggling staff trying to shake things out at a newer business. The server didn't deserve this at all. I think they will be fine once all cylinders are firing.

To start, the atmosphere is ideal for a beautiful summer night. It was airy, clean, lively and so inviting with twinkling ceiling lights. My family of 5 loved the overall decor. We also loved the view, ocean air and beautiful breeze as we ate the delicious food. We felt like we were on a Cape vacation. The food was just as satisfying. My husband said the baked haddock was the very best he's ever had. My Mediterranean salmon was also outstanding. My mother and sister raved about their appetizers, including jumbo shrimp, clams and steamers. Everything we ordered was excellent. I was especially pleased with the serving size. Some restaurants have a nice presentation, yet small serving size, but not Seaport, it had both. To top it off, the Sherry Berry is a dessert everyone must try! Perfect finish to a perfect meal. In addition to the restaurant itself and amazing food, the service was excellent. We were greeted by the extremely friendly manager, Carter, and were well taken care of by our personable waitress Kristina. She was so attentive and pleasant throughout our whole meal. Kristina was so busy, but she made us feel like we were her only party! By the end of our meal, we felt we made a friend during dinner and we will be back to see her requesting her table! It was a nicely leisurely lunch. On the higher side, but certainly well worth it! Our server was Ariel, and she was wonderful. Very personable, took the time to explain the menu, and how they prepare things as this was our first visit. She made some recommendations and she was spot on. I look forward to returning there later this summer. Now that I know that they remove the shells from the clams and mussels dishes, I will try the cioppino next time.

Don't sleep on the cocktail sauce here! Its peppery and so delicious. The tartar sauce is also super chunky of pickles and also delcious, the cups to fill with sauces were not up to the task here. I brought it to the counter. The person at the register was confused and kept asking me to repeat myself. Ok fine, she brings in the head guy. This guy proceeds to tell me that I ate half the lobster and now I want to return it, but they could cook me another one. Listen, I ate the claws first. My bad. Back and forth with this guy trying to say it was fine but they can cook another pair. And kept telling me that I ate half and retreated to the back. Tbh I was and I'm still pretty upset. I asked for a refund which they gave me to the cent. Nothing for tax or anything. Again confusion from the person at the counter. I go back pack up some fries and shrimp wanting to get the hell out of there before I got more upset. I didn't wash my hands so as we drove away I turned around and gave the packed up food back fearing I contaminated it. That's 50 dollars I'll never see again. Maybe it was all fine and not undercooked idk. I'm not a lobster expert. To undercook then ok fine, but to argue with me about how much I ate is pretty messed up. Don't go to this place not because the food isn't good, don't go because they don't deserve your business and there are plenty of other spots that give a ****.
