Trying the whipped cream before it becomes butter. Thanks, Ben!

AMAZING! I planned a team building event at Epicurean Connection and we all had such a fun time! To begin with, I had a call with Sheana and Ben. Both were super nice, friendly, and all around easy to talk to. Sheana gave me tips in what items we had to bring to take the homemade ricotta home. When we arrived, we were greeted with rosé and sparkling water. We made ricotta, I assisted Ben with making some fresh butter (delish!), we got to try some pre-made ricotta before ours was ready, and at the end we all received a goodie bag to take home with supplies to make our own cheese at home. I can't recommend this activity enough as our group had smiles all around! Thanks to the team for making this a wonderful memory to look back to! P.S. the tomato tapenade is to die for and you can purchase it!

    Welcome!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is a must do. The experience was absolutely fun. Our hosts and owners of Epicurean Connection, Sheana and Ben, were a wealth of knowledge and so helpful. From the little tips and tricks of making the curd to the timing and many mixtures possible to flavor the cheese, they were most helpful! The venue is perfect for team building venues to bachelorette parties. They can accommodate a bunch and have a little store to sell additional goodies. For our group of 4, we made 13 quarts of cheese and each of them flavored differently - Garlic EVOO, blueberry basil, honey habanero, plain naked, truffle, and vanilla bourbon to name a few. The endless variety of seasonings allows you to make something you desire and very unique batch to batch! There are six making stations a seasoning station and poker table to view the fun! If you are planning a trip to Sonoma, are cheese fans, are foodies, are interested in doing something different, are looking for a team building event, or just want to learn how to make your very own cheese, you must give this a try! Located about 8 blocks off the downtown square, it is easily accessible by all. It takes about 90 minutes and is a far better experience than some Wineries I've visited. Give Sheana and Ben a call!

The most amazing Sonoma experience. Do not eat anything before coming here. Sheana and Ben are the most humble but fun host.

The experience started with choosing our individual charcuterie board. Then spending 1.5 hours drinking wine and creating our own boards while tasting everything. The cheeses and meats were top notch. We then boxed everything to take home. But wait there's a gorgeous dinner with house made lemon butter. We were stuffed and I couldn't believe I could eat dinner. But wait, there's more. Dessert was apple crumble and whipped cream to die for. But wait, there's more. She sent us home with 5 flavors of macarons. I can't believe we ate as much as we did. And still bringing home 2 bags of food and dessert.

You get to eat cheese while you make cheese

This is more than just about making cheese. Sheana and Ben are absolutely lovely people who are passionate about what they do, but their love for art, love for others, and love for Sonoma County are really what makes this experience so special. When you end your cheesemaking experience with a hug, you know it was special. So yes, we made ricotta. But we also made friends.

Sheana & Ben are excellent hosts for cheese making class! fun & simple & oh so yummy! thank you a fun day for our group, the Swiss Club Tell.

If I could add more stars to click I would !!! What a wonderful experience I had this past weekend. Last minute attendee here (thank you to the sweet angel who donated their ticket due to illness - hope you're feeling better and thank you). You have created a perfect space there - great atmosphere and vibe. The class was amazing and I cannot wait to take another !!! I've been telling everyone how fun the experience was - I learned so much - thank you for that !!! The way you teach is perfect and you can see how much you both love doing it. Thank you again for a very memorable experience !!! Sincerely, Christine Oh - and I can't wait to try some of the things you sell in your pantry - yum !!!

This is an old fashion deli gussied up for Sonoma. It gets busy but everyone working here is attentive and even nice. There's a ton of interesting cheeses (duh) and pasties (yum) but I come here for the coffee and Butcherman sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches which are large enough to split if you aren't a big eater. Cubano: not traditional but delicious. Ham AND pork sausage. Jack cheese and avocado. Mortadella: with pesto and burrata. Another delicious break with tradition. Even the Arnold palmer (ice tea and lemonade) is good. There are seats in the back and a few outside but I like the counter in the front window. Enjoy your food and watch the world walk by.

Years ago, this was our go-to stop in Sonoma for wine and cheese tastings, incredible sandwiches, BBQ, and browsing a lively marketplace. It always felt busy and full of energy. This visit was a completely different experience. The store felt sparse, the cheese selection was much smaller than we remembered, there were no cheese samples, and we couldn't find their own branded cheeses that we used to love. We stopped in to grab lunch on our way home. The sandwich menu is now limited, and you can no longer build your own. We ordered two sandwiches, and while they were decent, they didn't justify the high price. There is still both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice, but the overall experience felt like a shadow of what made this place so special. I really miss the vibrant marketplace where people gathered to sample cheeses, pick up lunch, and enjoy everything Sonoma had to offer. Sadly, we won't be returning. With so many outstanding places to eat around Sonoma, this no longer stands out and, in our opinion, has gone downhill.

Currently, there are no out of state deliveries. Now let me tell you about my food kit I bought. I ordered the Oktoberfest kit. It was on sale for $17.99. Great price for five German bratwursts (1.5 lbs), 3 oz mustard, and two 16 oz cans of Sonoma Springs Brewing Company beer. Yes! The brats are organic and made of pork, spices, and fresh garlic. I could smell the spices and garlic as I pulled the brats out of the bag. That's the smell of fresh homemade goodness. I grilled a couple in a skillet. They were delicious. The flavors were spot on! Fabulous! The mustard came in a shallow tin with a twist off lid. It was tasty as well. But be careful when twisting the tin open, the mustard kinda ran away and spilled out from me when I took off the lid. The kit was delivered with blue ice that kept everything cool.
