Celebrating our victory escaping all rooms
    Reece W.

Great escape room for people who are just starting out. I completed all the rooms and each of them are well done. While in the rooms the workers are extremely helpful and even have some fun themselves. Each room has different difficulties from beginner to a little more advanced. Definitely a fun place to check out for team building, group outing, or even a date.

Had a Groupon, and came here with a group of friends on a Sunday. Initial staff was friendly. We were in the Outlawed room. Rooms were clean, and we had 4 hints but staff was able to give hints without them counting as an official hint. Our group had a fun time. One star taken away because when we were trying to Check out we were waiting for a while before someone showed up.

Came here with a bunch of friends and we all had a great time. The only issue was trying to make it out of our situation which for the life of us, we couldn't solve... and there a few smart people in our group and they all just blanked out. Oh well, we still had a fun time.

It was bought by Mr. Nami and Ms. Susan. They have updated all their games and every puzzle. Every room was rerenovated to be well lit appropriately. They are the nicest couple that looks out for your enjoyment. I encourage you to look for the Groupon. We just escaped Pandorum, our 70th room and its was awesome! They are a small family business and if you're looking for reasonable priced and fun games give them a try them or try them again if it's been awhile. I didn't have the back story and that's why your comments didn't make sense and now that I do, I can see it from your point of view, but I also encourage enthusiasts to try them again and review it again, since they are NEW owners. Below is our team @#floridakrakerz with Mr. Nami

This was my first escape room so I don't have a comparison. We had a blast and we got out! First thing is there are about 5 different rooms to choose from and they hold different numbers of players. When making your reservation I would ask lots of questions so you get the one you want. It is not easy to switch that day, although we did. Plus if the room holds say 7 and you make a res for four you might be playing with 3 people you met that day and they might have a different skill level. They serve beer and wine and will bring them to you while you play the game. However their puzzles will require a lot of brain power so I might hold off on drinking a lot. They watch you on video and if you all raise your hands and ask for a clue they will give you a hint. It is automated so our clues showed on the video screen and sounded like a bullet or shot from a cartoon as we were in the Outlaw escape room. The employees were nice but one person giving hints suggested we get a younger player to snag something with a hook. Really? These are not really physical challenges so one of our players was offended. I would go back and do another escape so that is the bottom line. We had a fun time and for this birthday party crew and it required you to think and to work as a team. I saw another Yelper mention bringing a pad and pen and that is a great tip. Next time I want to do the serial killer escape.

We had a family of 4, two kids ages 10 and 11 we picked the Norwich room which was very kid friendly. Staff was friendly, Madison was energetic and super helpful when it came to our clues. The experience was highly rated by everyone in our family and on top of that they were the only ones giving coupons, which made mom even happier. If your in Orlando pick this Escape room.

Chris was THE BEST host! All of the staff were super friendly. We did the CSI: Serial Killer and had a blast! My friends and I booked this while we were in town for my bach party and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We escaped!! With a group of 10 it was exciting to see all of us work together to figure out everything. We chose the "Silent Tide" room which was a pirate story. With our beers in tow we were off to our room with our hats on. We had plenty of locks to go thru which were all different...some required 4 digits and 5 letters. You have 3 clues to use during your hour. Definitely a good time for a group of 4 or more.

Before I could get here my daughter got to experience the Void Ghostbuster experience in Times Square which she absolutely loved. I finally found some time to go to Disney Springs and off we went. It was incredibly easy to book the tickets on my phone on the day I decided to go. I bought my tickets right before heading over and there were still plenty left. When you look online you can see how many tickets are left for each time slot. Two adult tickets came to a hefty $78. We actually ended up arriving early and they took us in right away. First you fill out a waver on a computer and then they print you out a wristband with your rebel name. You can't take pictures inside but the cast members offered to take a picture of us before we went in. From there it was on to the preview show where you scan your wrist band and select your storm trooper color so you can recognize each other in the experience. Since there were only the two of us they let us know that they could pair us up with other people but it never happened. We were taken into the suit up area where we put on a back pack with a gaming computer and the Oculus Rift VR display helmet. There are a lot of belts, straps, and knobs to turn but they do a good job of talking you through each step. You should turn the helmet as tight as you can in order to be able to see the best. I was afraid the gear was going to be heavy but that was not the case. As we put on the equipment I could hear screams from all of the rooms around me. Finally we were taken to the door of of the experience. We had one last check to make sure we could hear, see, and touch. As soon as I flipped my helmet visor down I was in the Star Wars universe 100 percent. I looked at my daughter and she was a storm trooper. I raised my hand to my face and it was the hand of a storm trooper. We were then ushered into the first door and it was on. Our mission was to retrieve some item for the rebels from the Empire. It seemed to follow the Rogue One story line with K-2SO guiding you along. There was a kind of escape room component to the game where we had to figure out how to get out of the rooms in different ways. Finally we got to a room with blasters which we were able to pick up. When we were stuck in one room I just blasted the door open in Han Solo fashion. During the game you have to shoot storm troopers and navigate lava and you can actually feel the heat. When I got shot I could feel a buzzing in my vest. At one point I was holding off storm troopers while my daughter tried to figure out a light sequence in order to open the door so we could escape. The final confrontation with Darth Vader was terrifying. I wish I had spent more time looking up and down instead of just straight ahead. The helmet was a bit cumbersome and sometimes I couldn't see unless I pushed the visor to my face which is difficult to do when you are shooting. It's a minor criticism and this was still the coolest thing I have ever done at Disney. The entire play experience lasted 15 minutes but it was intense and worth the price of admission. After you finish they take pictures of you in the VR gear and you can purchase them for $15 each including the print and a digital download. It turns out that I don't look all that good trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey so I passed. The void helmet doesn't do any favors to your hair and makeup. I was a sweaty damp mess when I got everything off. I sure hope they clean them. This was the most fun thing I have ever done at Disney and that is saying a lot. I hope this is the future of theme parks. This would definitely fall under Disney's been there haven't done that mantra. If you are in the area don't miss it!

Our game master, Jamie, made sure that we were taken care of for the first four rooms. Crazy Train and Captain Spoopy Bones were the stand out experiences for us but honestly, ALL of their rooms are solid puzzle experiences that will tickle the brain and provide that interactive and comedic "Spoopy" element. She also heard that we were from out of town and she took the time to get to know us and our plans for the rest of the week that we were there. A big part of escape rooms are also the photos and she got us photos within the escape rooms and in their lobby! This was so appreciated. At this point, we have done over 200+ rooms and there is always a special place in my heart for mom and pop escape rooms like Doldrick's. We got to meet Rick (the Rick from Dold-Rick) and we got to hear about his passion for the storyline, the scenes, and professionalism. I'd say that at any given time, 5 to 10 percent of the games are down. Not too bad. Located just up the street from Sofrito Latin Cafe, this place is well worth a few hours of time time. 5 stars!
