I took my dad here for Father's Day since I know he loves a cigar every once in a while. Who knew…read morethat the smoke-free city of Laguna has a cigar lounge you can actually smoke at?! Not me! I'm glad it exists! We came around 5:00 and there was one other person on the patio and a few inside. They had the World Cup on the TV's both outside on the patio and inside. The patio had seating for up to 11 people. The ocean view was fabulous. Two patrons had their golden retrievers with them despite a sign saying "No Dogs Please"... I assume maybe that sign doesn't apply to the locals haha. The place slowly filled up the closer it got to sunset. Everyone was incredibly friendly and chatty, locals and travelers alike. We spent 3 hours there until they closed. Afterwards, my dad said he hasn't talked that much in a long time and was pleasantly surprised that everyone was NOT an a**hole! We love that. Even if you don't smoke, they sell non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I would absolutely return for the quaint and close-knit vibes and community that is here. So rare nowadays!

I wanted to purchase some cigar gifts, but I was looking for variety, I did not want to just follow the masses, but I did want to give a great gift. Ross helped me make some excellent selections at various price points. Honestly, if we had more time, we would have stayed to enjoy the patio setting. Cigars, great service, and a view, not a bad trifecta. Looking forward to returning soon, thank Ross.

Took my mother-in-law here for her birthday and we all had such a great experience!…read more We got there around 4-4:15pm and had about a 20 minute wait, but we were able to find a high top table that we got to sit at and were able to order drinks from the bar, so that helped to pass our time. We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! Parking - they have valet parking available right in front of the restaurant or theres street metered parking in the surrounding area.

On the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean! What a beautiful view!!…read moreWe came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, you'll find that the valet completely disregards the flow of the street. They use the southbound lane as a parking lot, effectively turning a small two-way road into a one-way alley. The valet guys were also rude to people trying to drive through for no apparent reason. When sitting outside on the deck, there are 12 heaters available, but the hostess wouldn't turn them on. (I've eaten at many waterfront restaurants, and they all turn the heaters on--especially when the temperature drops from 80°F and sunny to 68°F after the sun goes down.) The website states no seating after 8 p.m., yet they were still seating people well after 8:15. The menu was also not what I was expecting. While waiting for dinner, the aroma of marijuana drifted across the dining area. (I know they can't control what happens outside their establishment.) the deck is roped off because apparently it's unsafe and could fall off at any moment in addition to the rotting floor. The food: The menu is underwhelming. I ordered the chicken with sun-dried tomato risotto and vegetables. The risotto was undercooked and flavorless, and the chicken was also lacking flavor. I sampled the New York steak with mashed potatoes--the steak was cooked well, but the potatoes were cold. We didn't even bother ordering dessert and went elsewhere instead.

Came in for a family dinner with a party of 13, and wow--this place was already packed by 4:30 PM!…read moreReservations aren't required, but I highly recommend making one if you don't want to wait. Despite how busy they were, the service was excellent. Drinks and appetizers arrived within minutes of ordering, and the staff did a great job keeping up with our large group. The unlimited chips and salsa were dangerously good. I always tell myself I'll stop after a few chips, but somehow I never do--and this salsa was definitely the reason why! For my entrée, I ordered the three seafood enchiladas. I appreciated that the seafood flavors were bold and fresh without tasting fishy. The green sauce complemented the dish perfectly and elevated the flavors even more. I also sampled a combination plate, which was good overall, although I felt the chile relleno had a little too much cheese, making it difficult to taste the chile itself. For dessert, we couldn't decide on just one, so we ordered the chocolate cake, tres leches cake, and fried ice cream. My ranking: fried ice cream first, tres leches second, and chocolate cake third. The chocolate cake was good but similar to what you'd find at many other restaurants. The tres leches was delicious--moist without being overly milky or sweet, and the almonds added a nice texture and flavor. The fried ice cream was the standout for me. The crunchy cereal coating added great texture, and because it wasn't overly sweet, it balanced perfectly with the ice cream. Overall, this is a place I'd definitely recommend for both the food and service. Just remember: reservations, reservations, reservations!.
