I'm so impressed by this place! I visited for the first time on a Saturday evening and the vibes were high. Great music, great ambiance, great service and great food/drinks. Myself and my friends split some apps and everything was super flavourful. As an east coaster I was also thrilled to see east coast oysters as an option on the menu. This place is on the small side though so if you have a larger party it'd be best to call ahead.

Amazing ambiance and vibe. The drinks were delicious and the service was prompt. The lamb sliders, oysters and truffle fries were out of this world. Would definitely recommend! Drinks were 4/5. Still some of the better ones downtown cc.

Went to The Mariner for our Valentine's Day dinner this year and it was phenomenal. The Valentine's Day menu was so good and each course had the most delicious options. The space is smaller inside but in an intimate, cozy, and quiet atmosphere way. It was ideal. The server we had was so sweet and told us about some drink specials they had for Valentine's Day and those were some of the best cocktails I've had. Everything from the food, drinks, and service was amazing. I highly recommend!

food, ambiance, and drinks were all a solid 9.6/10! the only reason it isn't a 10 was because we had to flag down a worker to order rather than someone coming to us.

Make your way through the shop upstairs. Had the Nitro Espresso martini and it was one of the best I've tried. Bartender said they've worked on perfecting the recipe and that they did. The place has great view at sunset and the staff is entirely friendly and make great drinks. It is a small space, and a group of 3 of us arrived there were tables reserved for a planned tasting which at arrival we weren't sure if seating would be available. Thankfully we got to sit. Overall plan ahead with reservations. Didn't try the tapas but they're known for them being good too.

Everything was top notch. The space is so cute and well decorated. We ordered the octopus, fish dip, shrimp, and croquettes. The service was excellent and the staff friendly. I ordered drinks as well and the spring fling is so delicious

Fun location, great drinks. Very creative. We had some appetizers, all great. It got busy, so be patient.

This hidden gem has a great drink menu with something for everyone. The presentation of the smoked old fashioned was very impressive.

The Gold Fish has proven this long-held collective pessimism wrong. Originally a cocktail bar only, it has now expanded into a cocktail, beer and wine outdoor/indoor bar, which makes complete sense given the city's demographic demands. It was actually one of the first businesses I was most concerned with us losing permanently during the pandemic. And I am so glad they have stuck around! It is a modern cocktail bar at its core, which makes it very unique to this city. This is an obvious adoption of cocktail bar trends from other larger cities in Texas. It is very nice, with a wide array of adult beverage options for discriminating consumers to chose from. The atmosphere is perfect, and the bartenders and staff are top-notch and super nice (the attitude is refreshing compared to what one may be used to recieving from such establishments in larger cities). I usually only come here when I have company from out-of-town, as I do not go out for drinks very often. At my most recent visit, I had just experienced a personal tragedy that I only briefly alluded to our bartender when she asked how our day was going. The amount of sincere compassion we received was not expected at all. My only regret is that I did not get her name, or else I would have gladly included it in this review.

We arrived after having had dinner and despite it being busy (it was a Friday night), we were seated quickly. Its got an old-timey vibe which is enhanced by the decor they use and the fact they were playing a black and white film on the projector. The bar area itself is gorgeous and displays what looks like hundreds of bottles of whiskey. We tried their sazarac and the Anastasia Grey. While I love anything earl grey, I wasnt the biggest fan of the charcoal element but thats a personal preference. It was rather busy so it took some time to get a hold of our server but understandable considering he also had other tables to focus on!

From the moment I walked in I fell in love with this space. From the dim lighting, to the elegant ambiance, to the cozy booth, and woodpaneled bar - I was immediately obsessed. Everything I tried here was absolutely delicious both from the food menu and the drink menu. I did a tasting flight (highly recommend) and sampled a few house cocktails. Neither approach will do you wrong and I recommend doing both if you have the time. For food we went with the : -sliders -charcuterie board - gnocchi -truffle fries And you can't go wrong with any of these. The sliders and charcuterie were the top two table favorites (although we may have been fighting over the last few truffle fries as well) Add this place to your list if you're in the Corpus area!

Incredibly attentive (by default) he was great at answering our questions and making recommendations. I tried out the Balacera - boasting both mezcal and absinthe, two widely hated spirits on their own which had the potential to make it disgusting...and it was fantastic! Super unique and refreshing on the particularly muggy day. We also ordered a cherry vodka soda, which came topped with homemade maraschinos and juice, which was equally tasty. We also tried out a gin daisy and ghost of greyhound (a nod to the location previously being a bus station, hence, the BUS moniker). The gin daisy was a little too heavy on aperol for my tastes, but the ghost was another hit. It was great to see a specialty menu of drink combinations you don't often find. We didn't stick around for food, but couldn't help but take in the cute decorations and details both inside and out. A fun addition to the widening "trendification" of downtown Corpus. I do believe I will be adding this to my rotation when in town!
