The Exchange in New Orleans is a really nice indoor pickleball court I attended for a private event and truly had the best time they also offer a bar which definitely elevates the space. The instructors were also really nice and showed us how to play pickleball and it was so much fun will definitely be returning. I also had some avocado toast and a berry parfait they were delicious!

Very fun and reasonably priced indoor bar & pickleball courts just outside downtown NOLA. The staff were nice. The facilities were well kept. Their TVs have professional pickleball playing for inspiration. You can rent paddles and balls if needed. Happy hour is every day 3-6pm. A kitchen is available, but I didn't try any food. The courts are positioned well with the bar in the middle so that folks can socialize off the court while still watching the games and easily rotate onto the court. I saw one person doing pickleball lessons.

I played at The Exchange for the first time at one of their $9 Friday open play days, and I'm glad to say that my experience here has been pretty great! Service was nice and chill. The person at the front desk gave me a brief tour of the place since it was my first time there, so I really appreciated that. The inside decorum was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The courts were nice as well. They also have food and drinks for you to purchase which is pretty cool. Excluding the deals, The Exchange is on the pricier side, but you do get what you pay for. The only small downside is that it's street parking, but you can easily find parking in the area as there are tons of spaces available to park at. Overall, The Exchange is a pretty chill pickleball spot!

Me and a few of my family members came to New Orleans for the weekend and the Exchange only had 1 open play during the time we were available and it was for Advanced Beginners. Most of us are actually intermediate and when we got there, so were several other players, however, none of us seemed to mind playing with people that were either higher or lower level than us. I think there was only 1 person there that wasn't too friendly. They have a paddle stacking system and open play was on two courts. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to us. The interior is gorgeous - 6 indoor and 1 outdoor courts, a bar, kitchen, ping pong table and plenty of seating. The inside looks a little small for large parties - outside might be more accommodating. I'm from Texas, so we're used to big spaces! For sure we will be back next time we come to NOLA!

Pickleball and a bar all under one A/C'd roof? I'm down! My husband and I witnessed firsthand a Pickleball session on a cruise 2 years ago when we saw a couple playing on a reserved court. Time on the court had to be scheduled and unfortunately we snoozed on planning it out. As we watched this couple enjoy play, we vowed to seize the next opportunity. While vacationing in NOLA I typed in "Pickleball courts" on Yelp. Lo and behold, The Exchange popped up and it was less than a half hour from our hotel in the Warehouse District. We scheduled a Learn to Play session with an instructor. Unfortunately, the instructor assigned to our small group class of 6 bailed out on us. We had an evening class that was supposed to start at 5:30pm. It was already half past so their GM (Ray) stepped in and taught us the basics. Ray overall was an awesome trainer. He drilled us on the basic skills, was very patient with us and provided pointers on how to perfect stance and technique. We had a great time and went away with a bit of knowledge and appreciation for the game. I would love to see something like this in the Midwest. If you're a Pickleball fan or are curious about the sport, check The Exchange out.

PICKLEBALL!!!!! There are six indoor AIRCONDITIONED pickleball courts that you can rent for a set amount of time. You can also rent paddles or bring your own. It's a very chill but fun environment. Pickleball rental is kind of expensive though compared to other spots in the area but honestly might be worth it for the AC. They also have a food menu and a full bar! The menu is like elevated bar food with some interesting twists. Booze menu prices are pretty reasonable! I tried the strawberry citrus sangria and it was pretty good. I'd like to try their other cocktails.

One of the finest pickleball establishments around! There are 6 indoor courts and an outdoor court that you can rent. The indoor courts are clean, nicely paved and the balls have a nice bounce to them. The nets are permanent and sturdy so they do not use rollaway nets here. There are a few bars and tv's that make this place nice for parties and just hanging out in general. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Played all over country. This is by far the best facility I have played in. Great food and drinks. Well run. Super inclusive. Good games at any level. Indoor / outdoor. Owners were fabulous. Worth every penny. NOLA rocks. Mahalo.

I love coming to The Exchange for the open play pickleball! It is $16 for I think 2.5 hours and separated by skill level. They also do court rental. They have 6 indoor courts and 1 outdoor court. The ambiance here is great! It is super clean and has nice courts and a bar/seating area and the staff is very friendly and welcoming to new people. I haven't tried the food but I would definitely recommend coming for an open play our get some friends for a court rental.

We had our daughter's destination wedding in NOL. Pickle ball is a family event so we all headed to The Exchange. The were so warm and so helpful. The espresso martini was delicious. The food was awesome. It was such a fun place. The place is super clean. The courts are super new.

Is there any parking at The Exchange?

Hi Maria! To my knowledge there is no parking lot, just street parking. There are 3 or 4 spots right outside the door on the street

My daughter is a huge fan of chicken wings--like, she wants to eat them every day --so she was beyond excited when we walked in. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks--me, a much-needed beer, and my daughter, a soda. For food, we went with the lemon pepper wings, nachos, and onion rings. Let me tell you... these wings were . Some of the best I've ever had! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside . I honestly wish we had a place like this back home in Cali. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and super helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to next time! Highly recommend for wing lovers.

When we walked in the hostess hardly acknowledged us. I asked if we could sit at the bar and she said yes so we walked over. The bar was full so we went back and asked if we could do a table instead. She laughed in our face and looked at us like we were crazy or inconveniencing her. And she was lounging on the bench on her phone, not even behind the counter to greet guests. There were tons of empty tables that hadn't even been cleaned off yet so we just sat at the cleanest one that at least didn't have dishes on it. It took FOREVER for a waitress to even come to us and take our order. After we placed our orders I think our waitress sensed that we were not having a good time so she apologized for the wait and was very kind and pleasant compared to the hostess. I wanted to try the pepper jack boudin egg-rolls. My boyfriend got the fried local shrimp. I did not like the boudin egg-roll. It was fried very hard and I wasn't the biggest fan of the boudin sausage but I wanted to try it because I never had it. You win some you some. I just ended up eating my boyfriend's shrimp because it had taken so long to get our food that the kitchen was basically getting ready to close so I didn't order anything else. Soooo yea. Not my go to choice for a bar. They did have these cool movie theatre style lounge chair in front of the big screen though so that was cool.

Great experience…read more We visited Tableau for the first time. We sat at the bar and had a a drink ahead of our 5:45 pm dinner reservation. Bartender Derek took care of us. My wife had a canned Mockly mocktail and I had a Woodford Old Fashioned. She enjoyed her mocktail and my Old Fashioned was decent. We were seated near the kitchen. It was really cold in this area. Thankfully, we both brought light jackets with us. The head waiter (young man in a suit) had the aircon adjusted and it did get better. Newell was our server. What a peach. She said she's been at Tableau since they opened in 2013. She took good care of us. My wife ordered the Chicken Tableau dinner. I ordered the Maison Salad and the French Onion Soup. My wife enjoyed her meal. I sampled the crispy chicken thigh portion of her meal and it was quite tasty. My salad was smallish and looked pretty wimpy but the dressing was real nice and I liked the nuts on the salad. The standout for me, by far was the French Onion Soup. It was the second best I've ever had. The onions were well caramelized, the broth was deep with flavor and the cheese great. The portion was quite large as well. Quite a value in my opinion and honestly, paired with the salad was plenty of food for me. A loaf of soft bread with whipped butter was served at the beginning. Miss Jewell did a good job of serving and checking in on us. I will definitely be back to Tableau on our next visit to NOLA.

Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to those expectations. The service was particularly disappointing, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. After taking our drink orders, our server didn't check back with us until we were nearly finished with our meal. What made this more noticeable was watching the tables around us receive regular attention throughout the evening. At one point, someone who appeared to be a manager came to our table, abruptly dropped off a bag containing a loaf of bread, and walked away without saying anything or providing plates. The bread was cold, despite appearing to have been toasted at some point, and we were left cutting it directly on the bag while crumbs went everywhere. The same manager also bumped into the back of my chair several times throughout the evening without ever acknowledging it. We also waited quite a while for our food, and during that time noticed several staff members, including the manager, on their phones. Given the lack of attention we were receiving, that was particularly frustrating. The food itself was underwhelming and the portions were unnecessarily large. Neither of us finished our meals, and by the end of dinner, we weren't interested in staying for dessert. We simply wanted to leave. Tableau certainly looks the part of an upscale restaurant, but our experience didn't match the setting. When you're paying for what is presented as a higher-end dining experience, the details and level of service matter. Unfortunately, those details were missing throughout our visit. There are too many great restaurants in the area for us to choose Tableau again. This was definitely not the white-tablecloth experience we expected.
