It did not cover tge "special drops for eyes" about $100.00. Also didn't cover surgery center-$300 I went at my eye drs recommenadation. At my 3 or 4th visit Surgeon said because my astigmatism in both eyes a reg surg would not give me the result (no glasses) but for $1300 per lense I could get a toric lense (not covered by ins) implanted which corrects that.All had to be paid up front. I am retired on ssi and not a lot of extra money----but I said since I am only going to do this ONE time ok.After about a month both eyes were done With multiple eye dr appts copay is for specialist for eye drs. Anyway I did all this because I figured if no longer need flasses.... Long story short I went fo glasses my opt gave a script for driving glasses and needed reading glasses. This was not what I signed up for. I tried it-as I had no choice, but went back and told him-I could not my computer with either. Finally I went back to my optom and told I was NOT HAPPY & had to go back to Bifocals. He had a hard time fitting me and even worse his office didn't order them right for 3 trys. When I told him how unhappy I was his snwer was "Well, it; was surgery. You can't gaurantee results! i was ANGRY. I went then went to a new Opt who explained That I could see near and far but not mid range and because they put he toric lens in that will never change. He was able to fit me with bi-focals.I see ok with them. But now I had to pay exam AGAIN since my insur allowance was used. I HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES! i KNOW THIS WILL NOT BE EVERYONES RESULT, but ask questions so hopefully you knw what you wil be getting into. I would not have gotten the"Premiuum" lenses had I known. Good luck

When arrived they wanted to do another eye exam (not covered by insurance as I just had one). This was not needed - I just needed information about drops and ointments. When I asked to just speak to the doctor I was told I could not without submitting to and paying for another eye exam. They refused to help me. Taking my business elsewhere.  I am sure they will reply it is needed, but it was not. It is a protocol that does not fit the needs of the patient in my case and about making money over prioritizing patient need.

Dr. Lindahl answered all of my questions. He was kind and thorough. I had cataract surgery on February 26, 2026 and March 13, 2025, am seeing like I haven't in years and need no glasses. He is an excellent surgeon! The women who work with him are wonderful! I got to meet Maggie, Beth, Laura, Denise, Angie, Kim, as well as Deb and Monique at the front desk. Thanks to you all for your kindness and care! Most businesses these days are more concerned about the bottom line than the people that come to them for help. Not here! Twice I have received an appointment confirmation email from their scheduling program Klara, only to arrive at the office to be told that my appointment was canceled because the doctor was doing surgeries that day. I never received a text, email or phone call about any such cancellation. The first time this happened the new practice manager assured me she would get the situation in hand. The second time was over a year later, the practice manage was at a different office that day, and I declined to reschedule.

Previously, I had a very positive visit-l came in with a concern about my eyes and was seen quickly. The exam was thorough, and the staff made me feel at ease. Everyone was professional and friendly, which I truly appreciated. However, as of 4/18/26, I'd like to update my experience. I had scheduled an appointment about six months in advance, and unfortunately, I forgot to add it to my calendar and missed it. I take responsibility for that. That said, I did not receive any reminder-no phone call or text-which made it much easier for the appointment to slip through. I was then charged a $100 missed appointment fee. While I understand and respect the need for such policies, the amount feels excessive, especially without any prior reminder. I hope you'll consider the feedback and possibly review your reminder system and fee policy.
