Showed up to my appointment only to be told there was a fee for retinal imaging that is required at this location. Receptionist said they spoke to me two days prior to my appointment about the fee but they did not. This was a waste of my time, and apparently they are speaking to random people about my information. read more

I showed up for my eye exam and was told I had a $49 co pay charge which was fine but when I went to check out I received a bill charging me $229 which I was not aware of and I was not given any receipt or explanation of the additional charges. very poor customer service. read more

Dr. Ritter is excellent. He spent a lot of time with me figuring out and solving an issue that my ophthalmologist could not address. I highly recommend him. i have been going to him for many years. read more

After being with the eye center for years I have had the most disappointed and frustrating experience that I have ever had with a provider. No communication between office staff what so ever. They keep billing me for a cancelled order. Even after speaking with Ashley the manager and her telling me I could disregard the bill and that she saw the mistake. I get yet another bill yesterday. The front office staff has no idea what they are doing when they process insurance. I see on other reviews also they are having a problem being billed unduly and same issues with office staff. With as many great offices that there are in Burlington, save yourself the hassle. Do not go here, a simple eye exam will turn into a 6 month battle. Probably will have to dispute on my credit report later. read more

Every appointment I have is a great one. The staff are always very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Dr. Ritter is thorough and takes the time to answer all of my questions. If there is something that needs further attention then a referral is quickly sent. The location in Burlington is very convenient for me and the appointment times work well with my schedule. Great experience! Everyone is very friendly and Dr. Ritter is very professional, yet very personable! I really am impressed with the digital imaging they use. The Burlington location is very accessible and easy to find. You would have a extremely difficult time finding a better group of people to take care of your eye exams/issues!
